Chapter 5: Family and the decline of the barony

Norn with his older cousin Curtis walked into the dinning room. They could see their family sitting there. His father the current head of the Whittaker household and the Baron of Ironsmith Junio Whittaker. Next to him sitting on his right side are my two brothers Dionne and Hustin and our only sister Cammy. They are 4 year old at the same time they are triplets our mother Anette passed early after giving birth to them. Sitting on my father's left side are my Uncle Glent and his wife Diana the parents of my older cousin Curtis.

-You two,hurry up the children are starving.

-Ok Auntie... Norn knelt down and pinch the chubby cheeks of his little brothers and sister then he sit next to them...Let's eat little fellas.

-Yey!hihihi!!!haha!!! (his siblings joyful giggles and laughter.)

The barony of ironsmith is the haven of all the famous and aspiring blacksmith before. It was a barony with a long history of its rise to greatness and its devastating story of its fall and decline.

The first legendary grade sword ever made Excaliburn the one that Sir Lancelot use to slay Titanus was created in the barony.

The sword was then rewarded by the emperor of that time to Simon Haylan Brave after he defeated Tuskar at a young age.

Hugo Whittaker is a legendary figure for all the blacksmiths.He was the founder of the Whittaker barony. He establish the barony using his talent in weapon making and created Excaliburn.

The emperor of that time tried to reward Hugo of a title as a count but he refused saying that it was too much for him to be a count so he was only rewarded the title of a baron and all the lands of drawfinia which is now called as the barony of ironsmith.

The prestige of the barony is now in decline after the 1st demon sword named "Hallow" was created accidentally 70 years ago by the brother of my great grandfather.

Vinn the blacksmith who created the first demon sword "Hallow" when he used a taotie's heart and fangs as a material of the sword. He committed sepukku after the Hallow's greed massacre.

The user of the demon sword a 22 year old young man named Troy a poor student from a commoner family living in a town of the barony of ironsmith bought the demon sword Hallow for a low price because Vinn find his character exceptional.Unfortunately Troy lost himself because of the horrible death of her girlfriend to the Folor family a marquis family.

He became "Gorx the unsatiable soul reaper " one of the core members of Wraiths and the main culprit of the Hallow's greed massacre 70 years ago.

Troy is a good child but he changed when his girlfriend Selia was mistreated and became a sex slave for the brother of the marquis daughter named Elvina Folor who envied her at the academy.

The marquis daughter trapped and scheme Selia's father into gambling.

They let him win a couple of times first to trick him and they succeeded and he became a gambling addict and made a huge gambling debt and lose everything.

The gambling den and Elvina the marquis daughter made Selia's father sell her as a sex slave to her brother Galvin as a payment to clear all his debts.

He agreed and Selia's nightmare begun.

She was forced to have sex. She was treated like a toy by Galvin. Then when Galvin gets tried of her,she was killed and fed to the dogs by him.

Troy upon knowing late the

horrible and gruesome death of Selia lose his mind and succumbed to the power of the demon sword Hallow.

He became someone craving for revenge. He wanted all the nobles dead. He joined Wraiths and become one of its core members.

Hallow the first demon sword was possessed by a Taotie's spirit. The user and the sword would became stronger the more it devour souls of anything the sword kills and Taotie's favorite are human souls. The more soul the sword eats the stronger Troy become and his hunger for revenge grew stronger.

Then 70 years ago on November 1 the Hallow's greed massacre begun.

Troy aka 'Gorx the unsatiable soul reaper" with the core members Moker

"the smiling devil" and Varog "the akuma" created havoc and death on the Folor Marquis lands.

Gorx slaughtered more that 10,000 human lives including Elvina and Galvin and the entire marquis household. The very few survivors who had accidently made an escape to the barony of ironsmith had seen the demon sword Hallow's Taotie spirit devouring the souls of everything it killed.They had seen Moker and Varog killed every people that their eyes had laid upon.

This day was the black organisation Wraiths start and its first strike of malice and death to humanity. That day was called Hallow's greed massacre.

Vinn committed seppuku because of regret and as a form of self repentance. Upon his death my great grandfather Rolt,his son my grandfather Henry and the best blacksmiths swordsman of the barony made an all out war against the black organisation Wraiths that lasted for 5 years.

They may had manage to destroy the main base of the Wraiths at that time and killed some of their core members and wounded severely Gorx but unfortunately many lives of the blacksmiths swordsman including my grandfather are lost due to this war only my Great grandfather Rolt and a few remain alive.

Due to the creation and the massacre of that demon sword Hallow and it's user Troy "Gorx the unsatiable soul reaper" doubt started to rise against the barony of ironsmith. The barony is in decline until this day and the death of some of the families great blacksmiths made it even worst.
