Cursed With Loneliness(3)

Note: This chapter can be slightly triggering. Please keep in mind that I am not going to write some run-of-the-mill pervert smut story. This novel will include many other things.

All the metal frozen in the air shot towards Victor. With widened eyes, he pushed Rio to the side and stood in front of the incoming objects.

Victor extended his hands, using his ability. Lex noticed a white aura wrapping around his arms.

[ It signifies that he is using an ability. Each ability has a certain aura that surrounds the user. ] 

The metallic objects became still again. Beads of sweat collected on Victor's forehead as he tried his best to stop the objects from advancing.

"I must say that you are strong-willed." Allen admitted. "You are managing to stop an ability that specifically counters magnetism."

Allen began to move forward. His gaze shifted towards T-Rio, who stood in the corner with her back facing the wall. The scene paralyzed her body in front of her eyes and she was helpless.

Lex instinctively moved in front of her, shielding her from Allen's gaze. Unfortunately, Lex was viewing something that happened long ago. His actions didn't matter.

"I wonder what will happen if I do this…" Allen pointed a finger toward Victor.

A black beam of light shot out from his hand, and pierced Victor's forehead. The latter's body began to shiver after being hit by the beam.

"Allen used his ability to manipulate my brother's instincts. His body marked the incoming attack as a friendly thing." Rio explained in a hollow voice.

With a shivering body, Victor turned his gaze towards Rio.

"Rio, no matter what happens, I will be looking after you." Victor smiled, tears building at the corners of his eyes.

His body gave up and the metals charged forward. One by one, they pierced parts of his body, killing Victor on the spot.

"AHHH!" A scream escaped T-Rio's mouth. Tears flowed down her eyes as she sobbed uncontrollably.

"Someone grab her and drop her back at her home. I will be there soon." Allen ordered, turning his back towards Rio and Victor's impaled body. "The sooner I get her, the sooner this city will be mine."

The scene went black before returning to Rio's room. She was lying on the floor of her room, sobbing at her brother's death.

Her parents were also present in the room. Their face was grim but they didn't seem too affected by Victor's death.

"We warned you." Rio's mother told. "Asdfhgs…"

The next few lines spoken by Rio's parents became butchered. It was clear that teenage Rio stopped listening to their words.

"They were more worried about themselves and their positions in the government. They didn't care that Victor died at the hands of the man they were forcing me to marry." Rio growled.

Her parents soon left her alone in her room. Teenage Rio stopped sobbing and stood up. Just as she was about to move, the door to her room opened up.

Allen walked inside her room with a white wedding dress in his hands. He placed the wedding dress on the ground and whistled.

"How are you, my soon-to-be bride?" 

"What the fuck is wrong with this guy?!" Lex shouted. His fists were clutched at his sides and anger was visible in his eyes.

"He is a psychopath." Rio whispered. "Keep watching."

Allen walked closer to T-Rio, whose body had went completely still. 

"Wear that wedding dress in front of me. I want to see how you look in that dress before our wedding happens." Allen ordered.

T-Rio shook her head, showing her refusal to wear the dress. Allen placed his hands on her shoulders, staring directly into her eyes.

"If you don't obey my words, I will force you to strip naked and wear that dress." Allen smiled. "After that, I will kill your parents in front of your eyes."

T-Rio smacked Allen's hands and ran to the edge of her room. Though her body was shivering, she stared into Allen's eyes with a brave look.

"You are not going to listen, are you?" Allen sighed. "Fine, I will make you wear the dress myself."

He began advancing forward with his hands extended towards T-Rio. The latter screamed for help yet no one came.

"Everyone was ordered to let Allen do whatever he wanted to do. My parents sold me to this man just to save themselves." Rio gritted her teeth. "At that moment, I was praying for something to save me."

Allen kept on advancing forward until he had cornered Rio. His hands reached out for her clothes as his face twisted into a lustful expression.

"As it turned out, I saved myself." Rio sighed.

Simultaneously, T-Rio punched Allen with full power. Her punch landed on his jaw, somehow, managing to throw Allen towards the other corner of the room.

Allen managed to land on his feet but the blow caused a bruise to appear on his jaw.

"How…" Allen questioned, wiping his cheek where T-Rio hit him.

Lightning sparks danced around Rio's arms, slowly spreading throughout her body. They formed a covering around her body, wrapping her in lightning from head to toe.

"RAHH!"

T-Rio released a cry of rage as lightning surged out from her body. It shot out in all directions, immediately disintegrating everything in its way.

Allen rushed towards the door, calling out for his men. But before he could pass through the door, the lightning hit the bottom half of his body.

He screamed in pain before vanishing from the house. 

"His men saved him but he was paralyzed for some time. As for me, my lightning rained down on the entire house, engulfing everything inside it. The mansion was fine from the outside but everything inside it disintegrated."

"Everything?" Lex asked, a sinking feeling appearing in his stomach.

"You heard correctly." Rio paused.

The entire world went black again. The next scene that reappeared showed an empty broken mansion. Rio's lightning had destroyed everything on the inside of the mansion.

"My outburst of power killed every single person inside the mansion, including my parents."
