A Broken Curse [Fluff]

Lex immediately pulled Rio towards himself, wrapping his arms around her head. While hugging Rio tightly, Lex began to stroke her head.

Rio closed her eyes and let herself feel safe in Lex's embrace. 

Her tears began soaking Lex's chest but he didn't move from his spot. He kept on stroking her forehead while humming a melody.

[ She went through a lot. If you don't make sure that she is treated well, I will terminate your sacred jewels. ] Elfie threatened.

'There is no need to intimidate me. Even without your warning, I would still treat her like a queen. Someone like her deserves to receive the best things life has to offer.'

The duo kept on hugging for several minutes, not wanting to let go of the other person. At last, Rio broke the hug by pulling back.

She wiped the remainder of her tears and smiled.

"Thank you for that."

"No need to thank me for that. I will hold you for as long as you want." Lex replied with determination.

"Then please keep on hugging me while we sleep." Rio requested.

"Definitely. Let's drop these dishes and change into our night clothes. We can cuddle then."

"Un!"

Lex grabbed their dinner plates whereas Rio grabbed Lex. Using her powers, they dropped the plates in the kitchen.

Rio then took Lex to her dressing wardrobe to get ready for the night.

Her entire wardrobe was located inside of a gigantic room. It contained all kinds of clothes and each type of cloth had its own section.

For example, shirts had their own section whereas night suits occupied another section. It showed how organized Rio's clothes were.

"Wanna match our sleeping clothes?" Rio asked.

"As long as you don't force me to wear something tacky, sure." 

"I have good dressing sense, you know."

Rio laid out three options in front of Lex, all three with different colors and design. She some possessed matching pairs of each night suit in her closet.

Lex raised an eyebrow when he noticed this.

"I, uh, recently brought them. Ahem…" Rio faked a cough

Lex chuckled at her reaction before he began analyzing the clothes.

'All of them look so relaxing and comfortable. Rio will look so cute when she wakes up in them while having a bedhead. I should choose one quickly.'

After some thinking, Lex settled on a black night suit with a tiny white stars pattern on it. Mind you, he didn't choose it because he wanted to wear it. He chose it because it would look good on Rio.

"Let's change then." Rio proceeded to remove her shirt and dropped it on the ground. "Help me unhook my bra."

Putting her hair to the side, she turned her back towards Lex.

Lex did as instructed and unhook her dark purple bra. Sliding the straps down, Rio put the bra on top of her shirt. She turned towards Lex, a grin present on her face.

"Since we will only cuddle tonight, want to give them a squeeze before sleeping?" she cupped the bottom of her breasts, lifting them higher.

Lex's jaw began to twitch. He had to admit that her actions were quite seducing. Lex knew that it might be a trap but he couldn't stop himself from reaching forward.

"Hehe, not that easily~"

Just as his hands were about to touch Rio's melons, she stepped out of his reach. The grin on her face got bigger when she noticed Lex's embarrassed expression.

'I knew it was a trap but I still fell for it…'

'Fortunately, you lack charm. I wouldn't want a charming system making me do weird things.'

[ Elfie has received some minor damage from the host's words. Reverting back to normal system mode. ]

'Good. Let me get back at Rio in the mean time.'

Lex moved forward again just for Rio to move out of his range again. However, this time, Lex played smartly and poked forward with his fingers.

His fingers poked Rio's soft melons, making them jiggle slightly.

"That was smart." Rio blinked in surprise. "You can touch them now if you want. I promise I won't move back."

Lex stared into Rio eyes, contemplating whether she was lying or not.

'Hmm, what if I…'

Lex placed his left hand on his chest, directly above his heart. He extended his right hand and placed it on her left boob.

Lex closed his eyes, a focused expression appearing on his face. Rio titled her face in confusion.

"Your heartbeat is faster than mine." He announced after a minute.

Rio gave him a blank look and lightly chopped the top of his head. Lex grinned as the former began wearing the shirt of her night suit.

Lex followed her lead and also began wearing his night shirt. He slipped his pants down and quickly changed into the pajamas. If he wasn't quick enough, there was no knowing what Rio might have done.

"Tsk, lost opportunity." Rio grumbled under her breath.

She removed her jeans to reveal a set of dark purple panties that matched her bra. She looked at Lex with mischievous eyes but the latter shook his head firmly.

"I am not falling for anymore of your tricks."

"You are a killjoy." Rio pouted. Wearing her pajamas, she gathered her clothes into a pile and put them in the corner of the room. Lex did the same thing with his own clothes.

"Let's go now." Rio grabbed Lex's hand and moved back to her room.

She jumped on her bed and patted for Lex to join her. The latter smiled a bit before lying beside Rio.

"Snuggle closer." Rio ordered.

"As you wish."

Lex adjusted himself such that Rio's body easily fit against his. She buried her face in his neck and hugged his body tightly with her.

Lex felt her soft curves wrapping around his body and his little brother was about to become active.

'Not the right timing.' Lex took a deep breath and kept his little brother under control.

His eyes looked down and was surprised to see Rio breathing lightly with her eyes closed. 

"You asleep?" he asked.

"Mhmm."

"I will take that as a yes."

Lex adjusted his hands and wrapped them around Rio's body. Rio began snuggling and moving, occasionally making "mhm" sounds. 

"Lex?" Rio said without opening her eyes.

"Yes?" 

"I am not causing any problems for you, am I?" 

"No, you aren't. I think I will sleep comfortably in this position since you are so close to me." Lex reassured.

He remembered the traumatized crying Rio he saw inside her memories. No matter what happened, he wasn't going to let Rio feel lonely again.

"Then its alright." Rio sighed in relief.

"Goodnight." Lex kissed her forehead.

A few minutes passed by in silence. Lex had closed his eyes and fallen asleep. Rio, who tightly cuddled him, opened her eyes for a few seconds.

She looked at Lex's face once before closing her eyes again.

"Lex, thank you for breaking my curse of loneliness. I will not forget this…"
