'I needed to convince her. You have no idea how hard I cringed at that line…'

Lex internally cringed at the lines he used but that was the only way he could convince Rio. At least that's what he thought.

What Lex didn't know was the fact that Rio already had a lot of faith in him. She would have believed him regardless of what he told her.

"Mind telling me how?" Rio asked while hiding a smile. 

"You have read cultivation web novels, right?"

"Yes, I have."

"Sit with your legs crossed and put one hand on your right breast. Touch your forehead with your other hand's index and middle finger."

Lex sat up and demonstrated the entire procedure for Rio. The latter sat up as well and followed his instructions.

"Now close your eyes and feel for a power source inside your body. You will feel two things inside you."

Lex was also doing this for the first time. Closing his eyes, he searched for the two power sources deep inside his body.

He could hear his heartbeat inside his ears and was also aware of his breathing. One could say that he was in a high state of consciousness.

Slowly, Lex felt two things flowing inside his body. One was warm and radiated a positive energy. The other thing reminded Lex of the various elements like blowing wind, rainwater, etc.

"I can feel two things flowing inside me," Rio informed.

She also felt the elemental presence inside her body. The second presence she felt was cold and sent chills across her body.

[ Warm represents yang and cold represents yin. Rio must be feeling the yin energy inside her. ] Elfie muttered. [ Anyways, proceed with the next step. ]

"Rio, focus on the cold energy inside of you. Once you feel like you have control over its flow, slowly direct it towards the point you are touching on your forehead. Once you redirect the flow, you will feel a warm energy near the lower half of your body.

You will also sense it in your surroundings. Try to direct that energy towards the hand placed on your breast. Continue this until you no longer sense any warm energy." 

After giving Rio the remainder of the instructions, Lex focused on his own body.

He focused on the warm energy flowing inside his body, tapping into it. Lex felt a pool of energy expand inside him, surprising him.

'Now I have to redirect it.'

Increasing his focus, Lex concentrated on the area of contact between his fingers and forehead. After a few minutes, he felt all the energy inside his body moving towards his forehead.

Simultaneously, he sensed multiple cold presences in his surroundings. One of the presences far outshone the other.

[ That is Rio. Her yin energy can also be sensed along with the free yin energy in the surroundings. ]

'I see.'

Lex reached out for the pieces of cold energy and directed them toward his chest. Directing two sources of energy simultaneously was not easy for him.

[ You will get better with time. Don't reply to me and keep your focus on the energy. ]

Many minutes passed by. The duo could hear each other breathing due to the silence. They continued to absorb all the energy in their surroundings until only one source of energy remained.

"That massive source of warmth must be you." Rio guessed.

"You are correct. Now comes the last step. Remove your hands and allow the two energies to freely flow inside your body."

"Alright."

 The two removed their hands and let the energies flow inside their body. The yin and yang energies begin to mix inside their bodies and soon start flowing together.

""Woah!"" they exclaimed in unison.

Lex felt his muscles relaxing as a pleasant sensation spread throughout his body. He also felt a strange energy inside him, urging him to do some form of workout.

"I suddenly feel energized," Lex muttered and got off the couch.

He spread his limbs on the ground and began to do pushups. Rio began to do the same thing. Their bodies were feeling highly active.

[ The more energy flows in your body, the more active you become. Your muscles become more relaxed and it promotes quicker growth. It also increases your EE production and helps you develop resistance against the weakness of your ability. ]

Lex relayed the information to Rio. The latter blinked in surprise before a wry smile appeared on her face.

She got up from the sofa and jumped onto Lex's back. Rio crossed her legs and sat on his back.

"Let's see if you are stronger now. Do 20 pushups while carrying me."

"Easy."

Lex had done this in the past but he had hit his limit by 15. However, he currently felt like he could do more than 30 pushups.

"If this powers us up every time we do it, we can get quite strong in the remaining two weeks," Rio murmured.

"That we will. I can do pushups effortlessly. Imagine how strong we will become before the deadline."

[ Not to burst your bubble but the intensive growth is seen only during the first 2 3 times of having sex with one person. After that, the growth begins to decline. You will have to fuck someone else to have this explosive growth again. ]

'I don't think these are the appropriate conditions for creating a harem…'

Lex decided to ignore her shenanigans. He effortlessly crossed twenty pushups, thus realizing the difference in his strength.

"Rio, how are we going to obtain our revenge?" Lex questioned.

"Our revenge?" Rio asked in confusion. "I guess it's now confirmed that Allen is somehow related to whatever happened with you."

"I wasn't talking about that." Lex shook his had. "I am talking about the revenge for all the pain Allen dealt to you. Your revenge is my revenge."

Rio felt her heart skip a beat. She immediately dived on to the sofa, and buried her head in the pillow.

"Huh?" Lex felt severely confused by her actions

[ Unintentional rizz. ]

Rio suddenly sat up, her eyes full of determination. She pointed a finger their clothes lying on the ground and gestured for Lex to grab them.

"Get dressed, Lex. We are going to train and then, we will obtain our revenge!"
