Mahiru's eyes turned blood red again. She slashed her claws downwards, shooting multiple waves of thin and sharp water slashes.

Lex countered them with psychic bullets, wondering how he should handle the situation.

He spared a glance in Rio's direction and saw one of the twin brothers lying unconscious on the ground. Rio was fighting the other twin and was going toe to toe against him.

'Rio will be finished soon and then she will come to help me. Things can get pretty out of hand if I don't deal with Mahiru.'

Unfortunately, his mind was preoccupied with avoiding Mahiru's attacks. 

[ You know you can overpower her with 'that' move. ]

'Not worth it. I will be rendered useless after using that move and it might permanently damage her.'

[ You are acting soft right now. Didn't you say you would help Rio achieve her revenge? ] Mahiru asked in a monotone voice.
