Chapter 50: Moonlit Captivity

In a musty, dark chamber, the air thick with the scent of damp earth and mold, one of the many cells stirred.

Malakai was chained and restrained, slowly regained consciousness. At first, he was disoriented, unable to move, but his senses gradually returned.

He tried to stand, but his legs felt heavy, as if weighed down by an invisible force. A cold, metallic sensation brushed against his fur, and he realized he was caged.

Panic set in as he thought of his family. Where was his mother? Was she safe? She had been injured during their capture... And what about Amari, his little sister?

Malakai's heart was full of worry. He struggled against the restraints, but they were unyielding, made of a strange, magical metal that seemed to absorb his strength.

As he thrashed about, the sound of clanging metal and scraping claws echoed through the chamber, making his ears ache.
