Chapter 101: The Taste Of Power

Malakai's gaze swept across the room, taking in the carnage that lay before him. The corpses of the green humanoids littered the floor, their bodies broken and twisted in unnatural positions.

The air was thick with the stench of death and blood, and Malakai's stomach growled in response. He knew it was time to eat, to replenish his strength and energy.

As he approached the nearest corpse, his mind began to wander to Amari. He couldn't help but think about the Lotus mark on her forehead and how it might make her special.

He recalled how she had moved during the fight, her movements fluid and effortless. She had torn through the humanoids with ease, unlike the tree guardians who had struggled to penetrate their skin.

Malakai's curiosity got the better of him as he began to imagine what Amari's strength might be like if she were to begin cultivating. Would she be incredibly powerful? Would she be able to keep up with him?
