Chapter 107: The Boss Chamber

The large door creaked, its worn hinges groaning in protest as it slowly slid open, revealing a dimly lit hall.

The air inside was heavy with the scent of old wax and smoke, the flickering flames of candles and torches casting eerie shadows on the walls.

As the door creaked open, the sound echoed through the hall, bouncing off the cold stone floor. The room was bathed in a warm, golden light, the candles and torches casting a gentle glow over the space.

In the center of the room, a round pedestal rose from the floor, its surface worn smooth by time. On the pedestal, a circle of candles burned with green flames, casting an ethereal glow over the surroundings.

In the middle of the circle, a small, green-skinned humanoid stood, its back hunched with age or burden.

The creature's long, brown robe was tattered and dirty, its hem frayed and worn.
