Malakai's eyes widened as he gazed at the woman, his jaw dropping in surprise.

A human, standing before him, in the heart of a beast city. Only now did he realize he had been seeing humans walking around.

The war between humans and beasts was well-known, yet here she was, wearing leather armor and sporting a confident smile.

"How is a human here?" Malakai asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

The woman's blonde hair cascaded down her back like a golden waterfall, and her piercing blue eyes sparkled with amusement.

The woman chuckled, her voice husky and smooth. "Well, you must be mistaken. I'm not an Easterner, I'm a Westerner," she said, her wry smile hinting at a deeper understanding.

Malakai's confusion deepened. Westerner? Easterner? The terms meant nothing to him.

He nodded, choosing to focus on the task at hand. "You said you can help me sell my stuff," he reminded her, his eyes locked on hers.
