The woman's fingers snapped again, and the golden paper vanished from sight. She turned to the pack and instructed, "You five, move to the side of the room." Her gaze locked onto Malakai, and she pointed at him. "I need you....? ."

Malakai's tail rose, and he stepped forward, his paws making soft creaking sounds on the wooden floor. "Malakai," he confirmed, his voice firm.

The woman nodded, her eyes gleaming with intensity. "Okay, Malakai. Stand there," she said, pointing to the center of the room, where the chains hung from the ceiling.

Malakai walked to the designated spot, his senses on high alert.

The woman snapped her fingers again, and a small, delicate vial appeared in her hand.

She moved to the side of the room, carefully pouring the contents of the vial onto the floor.

The liquid was a pure white color and seemed to move of its own accord, flowing like a conscious entity.
