Chapter 120: Robbing the Graves of Our Forefathers

In Konoha, the Senju ancestral home.

Tsunade was enjoying a drink, enthusiastically playing cards with Shizune, Ino, and Hinata. Despite Ino's initial refusal to accept Tsunade's signature last time, her passionate and bold personality as Yamanaka Ino wasn't deterred by a single rejection. Knowing Tsunade's hobbies from Shishou, Ino had immediately brought Hinata over tonight, requesting to play cards with the legendary Tsunade.

Since the old man Sarutobi had shut down all the gambling dens in Konoha on the night Tsunade returned, Tsunade, bored at home, was naturally interested and agreed to Ino and Hinata's request. Initially, Ino thought she would lose everything but was willing to endure it to get close to her idol.

However.

To her surprise, Ino won. And she won a lot...

Not only did she win, but even Hinata and Shizune won quite a bit. Only Tsunade lost.

Truly the legendary "Big Loser"...

Thinking of what Shishou had told her today about Tsunade's nickname, Ino couldn't help but glance at Tsunade again. Though, those are indeed quite large...

Quietly retracting her gaze, Ino focused on the game.

Swish!

Shishou's figure appeared behind Shizune.

Huh?

Seeing Ino and Hinata, Shishou was startled and vanished again.

"You all play, I'll step out for a moment," Tsunade said, sensing Shishou's presence. She put down her cards and left the room, unnoticed by the engrossed Ino, Hinata, and Shizune, who only urged her to come back quickly.

"What are you doing here?" Tsunade asked as she entered the adjacent room, looking at Shishou.

"Just checking in since you haven't been looking for me lately," Shishou replied with a smile.

After initially investigating Shishou, Tsunade had stopped her inquiries, which piqued Shishou's curiosity.

"Well, I don't really need anything from you anymore," Tsunade said nonchalantly, handing over several scrolls. "These are my grandfather's Wood Release scrolls."

Taking the scrolls, Shishou was surprised by Tsunade's straightforwardness.

However, his main goal was to strengthen his relationship with Tsunade.

"I thought you might want to see Dan Kato," Shishou suggested with a smile.

"Can you stop mentioning him in front of me?" Tsunade glared at Shishou.

"I can arrange for you to meet Dan Kato," Shishou continued, ignoring her words.

He needed to keep bringing up Dan Kato to reinforce Tsunade's acceptance of his death, creating an opportunity for himself.

"What did you say?" Tsunade's eyes widened in disbelief.

"The Reanimation Jutsu developed by your great-uncle can revive the dead in the form of Edo Tensei. If you agree, I can help you revive Dan Kato," Shishou offered with a smile.

He didn't actually know the Reanimation Jutsu but was using it to pique Tsunade's interest.

Tsunade's eyes sparkled, her heart pounding with excitement.

"Dan is dead!" Tsunade said firmly after a long struggle, taking a swig from a jug of sake she had pulled out from somewhere.

"It seems you understand Dan Kato is really dead," Shishou said slowly.

Tsunade's face turned pale as she nodded and took another drink.

Then she glared at Shishou, "Who are you to my great-uncle? How dare you take advantage of me? Want me to punch you to death?"

Tsunade raised her fist threateningly.

Shishou quickly apologized, "I was wrong."

A punch from Tsunade was truly deadly, a fact Shishou remembered from her battle with the Three-Tails.

Especially now that she had been drinking, she might actually do it.

"Let's go out," Shishou said, putting away the scrolls.

Tsunade raised an eyebrow, "What for?"

"Grave robbing!" Shishou said dramatically. "We're going to rob your grandfather and great-uncle's graves."

Seeing Tsunade's eye twitch with anger, Shishou quickly corrected himself, "Rob your grandfather and your great-uncle's graves."

Tsunade got even angrier.

Shishou, sweating profusely, quickly explained, "Tsunade, you don't want your grandfather, Hashirama Senju, and your great-uncle, Tobirama Senju, to be reanimated someday, do you? I know for a fact that Orochimaru has learned the Reanimation Jutsu."

Hearing Shishou's explanation, Tsunade calmed down and grabbed his arm, "Let's go!"

Due to the alcohol, Tsunade's actions were a bit bold.

Shishou tried to pull his hand away but found he couldn't, so he said, "Let go."

"Why?" Tsunade asked, thinking Shishou didn't want to hold hands.

Why? Because I don't like being passive in this kind of situation!

Shishou thought, then grabbed Tsunade's hand and disappeared.

Near the Konoha Memorial Stone.

"What are we doing here?" Tsunade asked, looking around.

"Grave robbing," Shishou replied.

"Their graves aren't here."

"Then where are they?"

"At the small cemetery on top of the Hokage Rock, which used to be the Senju clan's residence."

"Why didn't you say so earlier?"

"You didn't ask."

"Ugh, men and women are equally difficult," Shishou muttered.

"Ugh, men are equally unreasonable," Tsunade retorted.

"..."

Bickering as they went, they soon arrived at the graves of Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju.

Although Tobirama had died on the battlefield, Kumogakure had eventually returned his body to Konoha.

"Grandfather, grandmother, great-uncle, please forgive me," Tsunade said sincerely, bowing before the graves.

Finished, she looked at Shishou, clearly expecting him to do the dirty work.

Sighing, Shishou placed his hand on the ground.

Rumble!

With a few rumbling sounds, the coffins of Hashirama and the others rose from the ground, manipulated by Shishou's Wood Release.

"Your chakra control is impressive," Tsunade praised, noticing how the coffins were lifted without damage. His control was nearly on par with hers.

Shishou glanced at Tsunade, then tapped the coffins. His phosphorus bugs burrowed into the coffins, beginning to consume the remains inside.

The bodies had been specially preserved and showed no signs of decay.

"Give me your hand," Shishou said to Tsunade.
