Chapter 160: Kurenai's Unexpected Intrusion

What exactly just happened?

Like the Third Hokage, Kakashi, Kurenai, and the others were puzzled. They clearly didn't believe that the injuries Shishou sustained were caused by the Third Hokage's Wind Release.

Kurenai glanced around, noticing that Tsunade had disappeared, increasing her curiosity about what had just transpired. Where did Lady Tsunade go?

With that thought, Kurenai left her spot and began to secretly search for Tsunade.

"Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique!"

To avoid further scrutiny from the Third Hokage and the others, which might anger Tsunade, Shishou initiated an attack on the Third Hokage.

What followed was a series of elemental jutsu exchanges between Shishou and the Third Hokage. When the Third Hokage unleashed a combination of Wind and Fire techniques, Shishou's eyes lit up. He quickly countered with a Super Water Dragon Bullet, causing another dense fog to envelop the area.

Taking advantage of the cover, Shishou used the Hidden Mist Technique and created a clone to distract the Third Hokage. Then, he appeared beside Tsunade again.

"Again?" Tsunade's heart raced as Shishou reappeared, her face still flushed. She instinctively stepped back, trying to escape.

Without a word, Shishou kissed her once more.

Tsunade clenched her fists and hit Shishou twice, but he remained unmoved, holding her tightly.

Seeing that Shishou wouldn't let go, Tsunade eventually gave in. They had already kissed, after all...

With that thought, Tsunade responded passionately, while staying alert to any sounds around them. The sense of doing something forbidden made her heart race and adrenaline spike, soon leaving her dizzy with emotions.

...

Not far away, behind a tree, Kurenai watched in shock. She had come looking for Tsunade and stumbled upon the two in a passionate embrace.

She couldn't believe Shishou would take the time to get intimate with Tsunade while battling the Third Hokage. The one fighting the Third Hokage must be his clone.

How powerful is this guy, if a clone can keep up with the Third Hokage?

As Kurenai marveled at Shishou's strength, she cautiously stepped back. If Tsunade and Shishou knew she had discovered their secret, she wouldn't be in a good place.

Moreover, seeing the usually strong and invincible Tsunade showing such a vulnerable, feminine side was quite surprising.

Snap.

Kurenai stepped on a dry leaf, creating a faint noise. Though subtle, it caught Tsunade's attention.

Tsunade broke the kiss, turning to meet Kurenai's astonished gaze. Embarrassment flooded her as she saw Kurenai's shocked expression. She stomped on Shishou's foot and ran away, her face as red as a tomato.

Seeing Tsunade flee, Shishou turned his annoyed gaze to Kurenai, the culprit.

He had planned to take things further, but Kurenai's interruption ruined it.

Realizing she had interrupted something intimate, Kurenai felt awkward and turned to leave, but Shishou used the Body Flicker Technique to block her path.

"Sorry for interrupting," Kurenai said awkwardly.

"Miss Kurenai, your stealth skills are impressive. I didn't even notice you were nearby," Shishou said with a smile, admiring her beauty.

Although Kurenai had disrupted his moment with Tsunade, he wasn't angry with her. After all, one woman left, and another intriguing one arrived—it wasn't a total loss.

Kurenai was about to defend herself but stopped, recognizing Shishou's words. Why did they sound so familiar?

Kurenai frowned, thinking back quickly.

"Miss Kurenai, your genjutsu skills are impressive. I didn't even realize I was caught in your illusion," she recalled a man named Lurigan saying similar words to her once, with the same tone and voice.

Now she realized why this man seemed familiar.

"You... you're Lurigan..." Kurenai stared at Shishou in shock.

Shishou, surprised that Kurenai recognized him after just one meeting, smiled. Was this a woman's intuition?

"Miss Kurenai, your perception is remarkable. You figured out my identity so quickly," Shishou praised.

Kurenai blushed. She remembered how Lurigan often praised her during their genjutsu training sessions, making her feel like he was teasing her again.

"How can you change your appearance and height like this?" Kurenai asked, curious about Shishou's current tall stature.

She remembered Lurigan wasn't this tall. Was he using height-enhancing shoes?

"That's my little secret," Shishou said, shaking his head. Seeing her disappointed expression, he added, "But since Miss Kurenai wants to know, I won't hide it anymore."

He walked closer to Kurenai.

"What... what are you doing?" Kurenai asked, her guard up.

She feared Shishou might harm her for discovering his secret, though she doubted it, given his relationship with Tsunade. Still, she felt uneasy.

"This isn't the place to talk. Let me take you somewhere else."

Before she could react, Shishou touched her, and they teleported using the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Kurenai blinked, finding herself on a mountaintop outside Konoha, overlooking the battlefield between Shishou's clone and the Third Hokage.

The Flying Thunder God is truly amazing...

Kurenai, experiencing the technique for the first time, found it fascinating. She turned to Shishou, who had transformed back into Lurigan, surprising her.

"I can freely change my appearance and height," Shishou explained, demonstrating by shifting to his true form, earning another astonished look from Kurenai.

"This is your true form?" Kurenai frowned.

"Yes," Shishou nodded.

Seeing Shishou reveal his secret, Kurenai was silent for a while. She then asked, "Why did you tell me all this?"

Shishou turned to Kurenai, smiling, "Because it was Miss Kurenai who wanted to know."
