Chapter 470: Kamui and Kotoamatsukami

Uchiha Obito's secret base.

Using fragments of Obito's memories, Shishou quickly located his secret base. Upon entering, he found a lone White Zetsu cleaning the base with methodical precision. Scanning the base with his Tenseigan, Shishou confirmed that this White Zetsu was indeed the only occupant.

Given that Nagato had drained the energy from the Gedo Statue, and Konan had taken both the Rinnegan and the statue, it made sense that Obito couldn't produce many White Zetsu.

Casually neutralizing the White Zetsu, Shishou began searching the base.

Since he had only accessed a small portion of Obito's memories, he wasn't sure where everything was stored. After a thorough search, Shishou found numerous scrolls containing secret techniques from various villages. These were likely collected by Obito to bolster his strength.

Storing the scrolls, Shishou continued his search. While these scrolls were of no use to him, they could be invaluable to Ino and the others—learning more techniques is always beneficial.

However, he couldn't find the Three Tomoe Sharingan he was looking for.

"Did Obito store them in the Kamui dimension?" he wondered. "His Sharingan collection was once destroyed by me, so it's quite possible."

With this thought, Shishou took out Obito's Kamui Sharingan and implanted it in his eye.

"Kamui!"

After a brief period of adaptation, Shishou activated Kamui and entered the Kamui dimension.

"The power of Kamui truly is a bug-level ability. Remarkable," Shishou praised, as he began searching the Kamui dimension.

Eventually, he found a stash of Three Tomoe Sharingan hidden in an alleyway within the Kamui dimension.

"Tsk tsk tsk, Obito, you scoundrel. You have such a large stash of Three Tomoe Sharingan," Shishou mused, seeing over a dozen Sharingan belonging to the Uchiha clan.

"If Obito hadn't orchestrated the Uchiha massacre, he wouldn't have been able to collect so many Three Tomoe Sharingan."

After securing the Sharingan, Shishou left the Kamui dimension and replaced his eye with his original one.

Looking at the Kamui Sharingan in his hand, Shishou furrowed his brow.

"If only I could switch between my own eyes and the Kamui Sharingan at will," he mused. "It's so troublesome to have to swap eyes every time I want to use it."

"Do I need to implant them like Danzo did?" he considered briefly before dismissing the idea. "That would be too ugly!"

However, he pondered the possibility of merging the powers of the Kamui Sharingan and his own eyes, similar to how he fused the power of his two Rinnegan.

"If I can combine them, I would only need three eyes, including Kamui. It wouldn't be too different from Kaguya's third eye."

Random thoughts flitted through Shishou's mind as he considered the feasibility of his idea. He was unwilling to entrust the Kamui and Kotoamatsukami Sharingan to anyone else, as these abilities were too powerful to be left in the hands of others.

Moreover, he was curious about what kind of transformation would occur if these Mangekyo Sharingan were to evolve into Rinnegan.

As he thought more about it, Shishou recalled that his Rinnegan powers had fused when he awakened the bloodline of Hamura. Perhaps he could use the power of the God Tree or the Tenseigan to merge the two Kamui Sharingan.

However, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan combined two sets of eyes but did not retain the abilities of both. Maybe the process required evolving them into Rinnegan first.

With this in mind, Shishou decided to first evolve the Kamui Sharingan into Rinnegan. To do so, he would need to combine Uchiha and Senju bloodlines and nurture them over time, or use the vast energy of the God Tree to accelerate the process, similar to Kaguya's transformation.

Determined, Shishou left Obito's base to find Rin Nohara.

Removing the Kotoamatsukami Sharingan from her eyes, he replaced them with her original Three Tomoe Sharingan.

Since Kotoamatsukami had been used in both eyes, it would take several years before it could be used again.

Rin adapted to her new eyes and then spoke, "Obito... is he...?"

"He's dead," Shishou confirmed confidently.

Rin sighed, conflicted by her emotions. Initially, she had wanted to kill Obito, but hearing of his death still brought a pang of sadness to her kind heart.

Shishou hugged her, comforting her. "Don't think too much about it. He deserved it."

"Yes," Rin nodded, leaning against Shishou's chest.

After a while, Shishou took Rin to the capital of the Land of Fire for some leisure and relaxation.

The next day, he found Anko and handed her a scroll containing the seal for Orochimaru.

After having Anko duel with Orochimaru for a bit, Shishou sent Orochimaru back to the Pure Land.

With the deaths of Obito and Orochimaru, Shishou had no more enemies in the ninja world, except for the toads of Mount Myoboku. The arrival of the Otsutsuki clan's pursuers was still more than a decade away.

Thus, the ninja world enjoyed a true era of peace.

During this peaceful time, Shishou began searching for ways to continue growing stronger.

One significant goal was to find the other Ten-Tails on the planet.

With the help of Kaguya, Shishou and Kaguya had killed Otsutsuki Isshiki a thousand years ago, meaning the other Ten-Tails was still hidden. Finding this Ten-Tails was crucial for Shishou to obtain the Divine Tree's fruit and achieve eternal life like Kaguya.

Of course, Shishou wouldn't search for the Ten-Tails himself. He dispatched ten shadow clones across the ninja world and enlisted the help of several villages.

He personally continued guiding Tenten, Ino, Sakura, and others in their sage training or practiced Flying Thunder God across the ninja world.

One night, as Shishou was about to engage in some quality time with Mikoto, Rimei, and Kushina, a red ethereal letter appeared before him.

"Kaguya: Shishou?"
