Ryuchi Cave.
Swish!
With a flash, Shishou and Raiko appeared on the large lotus platform beneath the Divine Tree.
"Master."
Seeing Shishou appear, Shin Hime, who was meditating on a cushion below the lotus platform, stood up quickly and greeted him respectfully.
Shin Hime then glanced curiously at Raiko beside Shishou.
For some reason, she felt that this woman looked familiar, and the way Raiko looked at her was also peculiar.
"Hmph!"
Raiko coldly snorted in her heart, withdrawing her gaze from Shin Hime.
The thought of being on the same level as Shin Hime in their master's heart made Raiko quite displeased.
However, to leave a good impression on Shishou, she didn't dare show any dissatisfaction.
"Shishou."
Rin Nohara, who was training in senjutsu, also stood up, happily grabbing Shishou's arm.
She hadn't followed Kushina and the others to Genesis Space, choosing instead to stay in Ryuchi Cave to continue her training and help Shishou manage the senjutsu centipedes there.
After Katsuyu left, Island Hime and Tsun Hime were sent by Shishou to Shikkotsu Forest to breed senjutsu creatures, leaving only her and Shin Hime in Ryuchi Cave.
After exchanging pleasantries with Rin Nohara, Shishou turned to Raiko and instructed:
"Take Shin Hime and get to work."
He intended for Raiko to set up an automatic chakra harvesting array in Ryuchi Cave, making it easier to collect chakra from the senjutsu centipedes in the future.
Thanks to the meticulous care from the three snake princesses, the number of centipedes in Ryuchi Cave was now comparable to the snake population.
"Yes, Master."
Raiko replied respectfully, taking Shin Hime with her.
As they left, Raiko glanced back at Rin Nohara, comparing herself to Rin.
Noticing that she was more attractive in both looks and figure, Raiko withdrew her gaze and continued walking with Shin Hime.
Following behind Raiko, Shin Hime asked curiously:
"Have we met before?"
Raiko glanced at Shin Hime and replied indifferently, "My name is Raiko. I was the great sage of Ryuchi Cave in my previous life."
The great sage of Ryuchi Cave...
Hearing this, Shin Hime froze in shock.
"You are the White Snake Sage???"
She hadn't expected the White Snake Sage to still be alive.
I must inform Master about this.
Just as Shin Hime had this thought, she remembered that Raiko had referred to Shishou as 'Master.'
Could it be that Master has taken the White Snake Sage as his servant?
"I am Raiko, not some White Snake Sage," Raiko coldly snorted, walking deeper into Ryuchi Cave.
Coming back to her senses, Shin Hime quickly followed.
With Master around, she wasn't worried about Raiko harming her.
As they walked, Raiko suddenly asked:
"Does Master not have you three serve him?"
Shin Hime bit her lip and shook her head, "No."
They wanted to, but without Shishou's approval, they didn't dare to approach him.
Hearing this, Raiko frowned.
Could it be that Master only likes humans???
This is not good news...
On the other side.
Holding Rin Nohara, Shishou chatted with her while thinking of ways to awaken her Mangekyo Sharingan.
The best opportunity had been when he killed Obito Uchiha, but Rin had seen Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan instead, missing the chance.
Now, with the ninja world at peace, it was hard to find something to stimulate Rin Nohara enough to awaken her Sharingan.
Moreover, the only people Rin cared about now were him and Kushina, both of whom were among the strongest in the ninja world, making any real danger improbable.
Even if Shishou staged an attack, Rin would not believe it.
Or should he just directly infuse her with the power of the Divine Tree?
This would certainly make it easy for her to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan, but it would delay his harvest of the chakra fruit.
Given the potential threat of the Otsutsuki clan arriving at any moment, Shishou was reluctant to do this.
As he pondered, an idea suddenly struck him.
He kissed Rin Nohara and said:
"Being with you feels like a dream."
Rin Nohara was puzzled, "A dream?"
A dream???
In a daze, Rin saw Shishou's face distort and change, finally transforming into young Kakashi.
The environment around her also changed, taking her back to the moment of her death.
Rin felt something blocking her heart and looked down to see Kakashi's Lightning Cutter piercing her chest.
Her body had reverted to her 13-14-year-old self.
A dream?
Rin wondered.
The next second, Kakashi's hand withdrew from her chest, and the excruciating pain made Rin believe this was no dream.
Falling to the ground with the unconscious Kakashi, she felt her life force rapidly fading, unable to control her body.
"Shishou, Kushina-sensei."
Rin mouthed silently, but no one responded.
She tried to activate her Sharingan but couldn't.
Is this reality, and was Shishou just a figment of my dying imagination?
Feeling her life slipping away, Rin thought in shock.
That might be true.
A man who could enhance chakra significantly, awaken Uchiha bloodline powers, and control the three major senjutsu lands.
Such a man couldn't exist, right?
Even if he did, why would he choose her with so many beautiful women around him?
However, thinking of her encounters with Shishou, Rin felt a surge of unwillingness.
Why, why did this dream have to end when she was finally happy? Why couldn't she die in happiness?
Why!
The intense unwillingness and fear of death made Rin's emotions surge, her eyes turning scarlet.
Then, Obito Uchiha appeared, reaching out to her.
Seeing Obito approaching, Rin's eyes widened, struggling with her last bit of strength.
This must be a dream; it has to be. My man is Shishou!
Bang!
The scene shattered.
Rin's Sharingan activated, the three tomoe spinning rapidly and connecting into a straight line.
