31. The Plan

Waving his hands from a distance, he entered into the house while she waved slightly at him and released a deep breath. Lyra started the engine and drove out of the small colony zooming through the city streets. After driving for twenty minutes, she reached their house in Mosvil. Slowing down the car when the familiar blue colour building came into view, she entered into the parking place at the base and stepped down.

Lyra tossed the car keys onto the coffee table after locking the main door behind her. She walked through the hallway towards the backdoor of the house while unbraiding her hair. Revealing the thick black locks of her hair dancing along with her movements, she opened the backdoor and descended steps outside.

The cool night air touched her bare skin, electrifying her whole body. The thick velvety sky filled with millions of stars held a halfmoon in the middle of them. The dull glow of the moon casted on the city lights, got even more dull because of the light illuminated from cities. She walked effortlessly smooth on the soft grass on her bare feet in the backyard stepping forward to the basement.

Opening the wooden door with a small creak, her feet made its way to the light switch. The tiny click of the switch made all the corners of the room visible with the bright light. Taking large steps towards the wardrobe in the basement, she changed into leather outfit and grabbed the motorcycle keys from the hanger.

A black Triumph bike sat in the middle of the room. The bike is in a brilliant shade of black, it would be invisible in the dark. Lyra grabbed her helmet and took the bike out into the yard, closing the basement door.

She grabbed all her hair and secured it in a ponytail with a rubberband. She dragged the bike into the empty back street through the narrow way in the backyard. Closing the way with the wooden gate, completely changing the way into a common backyard fence, she climbed onto the bike and wore the helmet.

Double checking if the gate looks like there's no way it would fall apart, she revved up the engine resonating the empty night street with the sound of ignition.

Zooming through the streets, she entered into the highway and reached Arricot town in no time. Lyra slowed down the engine only when the big red coloured board reading 'Twin Roses Cafe' came into view. She drove inside the basement parking lot and saw that other members were already there. She parked the bike and took off her black helmet, holding in her arms, she entered the basement immediately as the cafe is already closed.

She saw her team leader James and others sitting at the meeting table with Sabrina standing at her seat. Placing the helmet on the table, she removed her gloves while sitting in a chair near the table. Lyra looked at her boss with a knowing gaze and he just nodded sighing.

LYRA POV

"So guys, as everyone is here, we will start the process. As you all have been reminded, Adam is back in the city. His stocks fell more than expected and he had to take an immediate flight to return to Norlona. Too bad his vacation in another country didn't last long"

" How did this stocks thing happened just like we expected?" Sabrina asked James before I open my mouth to ask. I gazed at her with a assuring look and shifted my eyes to James again to know the answer.

"That, he has a corporate rival. I noticed the stock market is gradually falling for his company while the majority of the increase in the market is for another corporation. The opposite party is stronger than his. The stocks, the industries and employees, everything is stronger than Adam" James lifted his head from the top he has been playing with and glced all of us before talking again.

" The intresting fact is, both the ceo's doesn't even know eachother personally. Forget about personally. They don't even know the other one exists. Adam lives in the Parker industries office building and he only knows about the Fake CEO of the opposition. Meanwhile, the real CEO of the A&A corporations is yet to come out into the light. Adam atleast know that the present man the company is saying as CEO is fake. The real one doesn't even know how much impact his company has in the stock market and present trends. Wierd. Isn't it?"

The name A&A corporations ring a bell inside my mind. My face automatically started to change into irritation when his face flashed in my mind. I lowered my eyes with a blink when a thought sparked inside my brain. 'So, the great Felix is not even interested in his own company that he set up a fake CEO. What an idiot!' My train of thoughts interrupted when James started to speak again. I shot my eyes up at him shifting my attention to him.

"So, as I made my calculations, the market messed up a little lately and he is back in the city. Now, we need a plan of action...And...we should start it by tomorrow. We don't know what he will do to restock the company funds and manufacturing. It would be best if we are in full alert" he removed his spectacles and rubbed his eyes.

"Let's hack his company database" I spit out loud making everyone around the table whipped their heads and looked at me in confusion.

"Why hacking? His shares are already falling down. We don't need to do anything right?" Sabrina asked me in a confused tone.

"He just arrived at Norlona airport few hours back. Based on Adam and his arrogant personality, he must be chilling or having a private intimate meeting with his PA in his office cabin. He was forced to return when this downfall started. Its happening very slowly. The stocks are falling constantly. So he might take his time enjoying the pleasure. If we hack the company database from a particular location, from his laptop, he will get directly involved in a fraud. You all know that Adam is not the only owner of that company right?" I asked looking at them.

" Yeah" James and Mike replied at the same time.

" Yes" Nate said nodding his head.

" No" Sabrina shook her head and glanced at other's faces. They all glared at her for being carefree while discussing about this case for the first time a few days back.

I added with information for her "All of Adam's cousins have equal share in the company. But because it was established by Adam's father, he have five percent more than the rest of them and he was made the CEO for this reason. So, it's not only his property. Now, if some conflict arises in the company regarding shares and stocks because of him, what do you think rest of them will do?"

" Definitely send him forward to solve the issue himself" she said staring into space.

" That's what I am pointing at" I place my palm on the table to let them know this is a better plan that will actually work.

" So, you will hack the company database from his laptop, and it will result in losing stocks. His cousins will threaten him to resolve the issue as soon as possible because the company's loss is their loss"

I raised my eyebrow in obvious intimation and Sabrina nodded her head. "He should come out of his love sessions with his assistant and deal with us directly"

"How will we catch him?"

"I have an idea for that too. But first of all, plan A should be implemented as soon as possible "

"I will get the clearance from the government later Agent. Just start the work now "

" Should we steal his laptop first?" Sabrina asked me curiously.

"That's not need. We can hack the database from our laptop. But we will make it seem like it is done from his. We should connect to the same network as his laptop. I should start to the company now" I say and stood up from my seat grabbing my jacket and bike keys. "Sabrina..I need you to book a room in the hotel next to the company. I want the exact same floor and as near to his cabin as possible. Can you do that?"

"Yeah...I'll text you the details. Be careful" she said standing up from her seat and patted my back on her way to the surveillance room. I turn my head towards Nate and guide him to another task.

"Nate, I will tell you when to start. You can start the work then okay?"

"Got it" he replied curtly before taking out the bluetooth and communication kit. Handing me one ear piece he switched on the kit and gave a call to my mobile to start the authentication.

"Should I be behind you?" Mike asked me reassuringly and grabbed his bike keys. "You know what to do" he nodded to my sentence and we started to walk towards the exit.

Turning to our Team leader, we bade goodbye and closed the basement door after entering outside into the streets of Arricot town.

I climbed onto my bike and hung the bag with laptop on my back and fixed the helmet on my head. Mike got into position with his sniper and other materials in the huge bag hung on the side of his bike and ignited the engine. We both gave each other a thumbs up and nodded before racing through the streets leading to the highway.

After driving for thirty minutes at high speed, Mike and I reached the Greyquinn City border. We slowed down a bit after entering into the city streets because of the crowd of people gathered at the night out spots. All the people having their best time immersed in their own world, they failed to notice two bikers roaming around in the streets with guns and snipers. Only if the bag is not protecting the guns, the entire area would be in chaos. Just one dumb human is enough to start the rambling about the guns.

We took several turn to reach the main office block of Parker Lifestyle Corporation building. Mike looked at me and nodded when I too turned my head in his direction. We both agreed to start the work at the right time and went on seperate ways. I pulled the handle to drive into the parking of the hotel that is just beside the PLC building. Removing my helmet, I spoke into the bluetooth I fixed in my ear back in the hideout "Agent ?"

"Its done. You can start"

Just then, Lyra opened her phone and saw a text message from a new number. Opening it, she read the content of the message is about room number and the confirmation of booking. She walked outside the parking into a spot where she could see both the hotel and office building clearly.

"Room no 1308....The 13th floor" she said to herself squinting her eyes to see the distance between the room and Adam's office. As she is calculating the distance, she got an absolute glance of what she thought Adam would be doing. She noticed the silhouettes of a person on the large windows of his office. As Adam's cabin in designed to be facing the city, people could actually see what's happening inside if they stood on the same floor on the opposite building.

"You couldn't even wait a few hours. Licking her face off when your company is losing the stocks. Ha.. Adam.... what a pleasure freak you are" she mumbled drifting her mind off from the dirty scene unfolding infront of her eyes. The curtains were closed. But the lighting inside is letting the onlookers hit with nasty silhouettes. She scrunched her nose in disgust and walked inside the hotel with her bag on her back. She steps so confidently forward and with her glasses on, she looked radiant. There are very less people inside the hotel as it's getting late at night. Few people who were in the reception area, turned their attention to the timeless beauty waking in all leather outfit and glasses.

Her usually pale skin is flushed because of her body reaction to warm down a bit after travelling in chilly night wind. Her skin glowed like marble under the bright ceiling lights. She walked up to the front desk to get the keys of the room.

"Welcome mam. How may I help you?" The receptionist was taken aback by her contrast. The thick black leather outfit on her fit figure and the naturally flushed pink skin.

"I reserved a room under name Adam" Lyra spoke graciously without batting an eyes to the secret glances she's getting from the people around her.

"Let me check mam" the young receptionist drifted her eyes to the computer screen before her and her hands did the job to find the reserved name.

"Yeah it's on the thirteenth floor. Are you fine with that or do you want to change to other floor?" After a while, she said with a gentle smile on her face hoping to get the smile back. But the face she is looking at is the hardest thing to crack.

Lyra replied curtly and seriously. "No that's fine"

"Okay mam. Here's your keycard. Have a goodnight" she slid the thin red card on the table and bowed a little. The nervousness made its way to the young girls brain as Lyra seemed too serious. 'did I trigger the mood more?' she was cooped up in her own thoughts when Lyra interrupted her.

"Thankyou" Lyra took the card from the girls hand. A tiny contact between their hands sent shivers down the young girls spine. Lyra's hand is so cold from the driving in open air while the girls hand was warm because of the heaters inside reception area.

'oh my god...don't tell me she is a ghost. Why are her hands ice cold. I better sleep with my Bible beside me tonight' the young girl thought shaking her head when Lyra turned to leave.

Lyra made her way towards the elevator and got inside. Pressing the button with label 13 after the elevator doors closed, she took a deep breath and determined in her mind she would catch him soon.

"Give yourself all the pleasure you want you fucker. You will not get to live the way you want from tomorrow" a sinister smirk on her lips says that she is beyond ready to tear him down to pieces.
