The cultivation of the world in which Felix lived was completely based on the presence and absorption of Spiritual Qi from the air.

This is why places with a higher concentration of Qi were more sought after, as the effect of cultivation there was many times better in comparison to those with less Qi concentration.

Cultivation of humans and beasts alike took place by absorbing Qi from around them and refine, temper, and build it inside their Dantian.

Spirit Cultivation as a whole is divided into two major realms of Earth and Heaven stage.

The Earth stage could be said as the first half of cultivation at the peak of which they could destroy mountains if they tried their best.

And Heaven stage was the next level of it from where humans could gain the powers of the so called immortals and fly in the sky. Also at the peak of Heaven Stage, they can break open the void and ascend to the higher realm.

And furthermore, each of these stages was further divided into 9 sub-levels each, other than the Dantian Opening Realm.

When once reached the peak of that realm at the 9th level they'd need to experience a breakthrough in quantity and quality to enter the next realm.

The first official proof of a Mortal being a cultivator would be the presence of Qi inside them.

The Qi Strand Realm was in which the cultivator would absorb strands of Qi and store them inside their dantian.

The speed of absorption would depend on their body, talent, Qi concentration in the air, cultivation technique level, and so on.

Furthermore, the younger an individual was, the higher their gains would be when cultivating. This is why everyone tries their best during the younger ages.

When someone had 10 strands of Qi inside their Dantian, they would be considered to be at the peak of the 1st Lev of Qi Strand Stage.

And finally, when someone had 99 strands, they could attempt to breakthrough into the next realm, the Qi Stream realm.

In this realm, all the collected strands are fused together to form a stream and establish their Qi Stream. The Qi Stream not only is of higher quantity, but has a greater concentration of it, which in simple terms means it has a better quality.

Though Felix could not be considered as a genius for taking almost 3 years to reach the 9th Level of Qi Strand Realm, given his current age, he truly was a young monster with no rivals.

The higher one's cultivation grew the better their body and soul would grow after which their longevity would grow.

It is said that as long as one cultivated to the peak of what was possible they'd attain an immortal body and soul which can withstand all of time and never die.

However, they would still die if they were killed by someone else.
