Making every customer and worker leave the restaurant, Felix dragged himself a chair and sat inside the kitchen as Celia started choosing the ingredients to cook.
"If you manage to impress me with your cooking, this Dao Flame is yours."
Seeing the Dao Flame in Felix's hand, Celia felt even more excited.
Putting her brain to use she decided to cook a dish which she was proficient in, and sure that it would impress Felix.
Since the restaurant was just stocked recently, Celia managed to find all the items she was looking for. Including the meat of a Fire Dragon Cow which she was nagging Felix to hunt.
Just as Celia was about to start cooking, the sound of someone barging in by breaking the restaurant doors which they locked was heard.
Only raising as eye Felix didn't move since he didn't care, and Celia also went back to cooking cause neither of them cared what happened to the restaurant anyway.
They were only here for a meal, and would leave after they were satisfied.
...
Thinking that the sound wasn't loud enough, the old prime minister walked in as he pushed open the doors to the kitchen.
Looking inside at the handsome boy who was sitting and waiting for the woman who was cooking, the old man felt jealous of Felix's appearance.
Fully angered at how neither of them even bothered to look at him, an esteemed prime minister of the Nurenth Kingdom. The old man took out the golden scroll the king had given him.
Opening it and looking at the blank scroll, the minister knew what he needed to do.
Coughing a few times, he used Qi to strengthen his voice and shouted loudly.
"This is the Imperial Decree given out by his Majesty, the King of the Nurenth Kingdom!"
"You! The woman over there, as per his majesty's order you are to immediately leave for the palace and become the King's concubine!"
"If you choose to defy the Imperial Decree don't blame me for using force."
As the prime minister finished saying the words he was quite used to, the men who came with him stepped forward and banged their feet against the floor to make a threatening sound.
Hearing the so called Imperial Decree, Celia didn't even bat an eyelash as she focused on the mixing the meat with spices.
This was because, given her strength, she didn't even put someone as week as the king of a minor kingdom in her eyes. And even if she chose to kill the king in front of everyone, Celia was very confident that she could escape even if every single individual in the city chased after her.
Therefore the threat of a few hundred weak soldiers wasn't worth her time.
As for being worried about Felix, that question didn't even enter her mind.
Putting aside how he was even stronger than she was. Even the woman he pulled out of thin air, gave her the impression that she could destroy the whole kingdom in a single move.
And that was if the snake around his neck didn't beat her to it.
Stunned at how the two were still ignoring him, the old man's face was red with anger and just as he was about to burst a calm voice made its way to all of their ears.
"An Imperial Decree? I'll show you what an Imperial Massacre is."
Hearing this voice everyone felt like their surrounding had turned completely cold while their hair stood up on the end.
Before anyone of them could even respond, Felix was right in front of the old man after which he walked by him.
Looking at this old man's eyes turned weird thinking that Felix was bluffing and running away, it what he saw next was that as Felix kept on walking the soldiers he brought with him were cut into two and fell down one by one before they could even make a move.
Even the Second Royal Commander who was considered to be one of the fifth strongest individuals in the palace couldn't lift his weapon before his head was separated from his neck with a blank look as if he hadn't even seen his death coming.
"You... What are you doing!? How.. How dare you go against his majesty!"
"His majesty? Tsk! Tell your majesty that I'm in the process of enjoying a meal, so he better be ready for me to kill him before the sun sets this evening."
Indeed Felix wasn't the kind who enjoyed fighting, but this didn't mean he'd shy away from a fight. And especially when someone was trying to take something that belonged to him.
Put aside Celia who was one of his Nine Imperial Queens, even if the King asked for some random woman he was talking on the street with, he'd still kill him on the spot
"You'll... You'll definitely regret this!"
Screaming at the top of his lungs, the prime minister who knew that his life was spared ran towards the palace to inform the king about what just happened.
...
"Is there any trouble Felix?"
"Trouble? Hardly. You should instead focus your attention on cooking."
"Okay."
Writing off at what just happened as something not worth mentioning, Celia continued cooking, while Felix used his Yang flames to completely burn away the bodies and blood which were spoiling the atmosphere.
...
Rushing straight into the King's chamber with a haggard face and clothes stained with the blood of the dead soldiers, the minister immediately told the king the whole story.
Including how he was ignored, he made sure to tell him how cruel the young man was in killing his men.
Hearing the whole story, the king who was originally angry after hearing that someone defied his Imperial Decree, had a serious face as if he was contemplating.
In the next instant, he made a decision and immediately pulled a sword out of his spatial ring and cut off the prime minister's head.
Calling for the servants who were always waiting to serve him outside the chamber, he said, "Pick up the head, and the golden scroll."
Despite feeling unwilling to, the female servants dared not show any emotion on their face as they diligently picked both of them and followed behind the king who had dressed himself in golden coloured Imperial robes.
After that with the two women awkwardly following him with a head in one's hand, and a bloodstained golden scroll in the others. The King took no soldiers as he walked towards the location he heard about from the minister.
...
"How much longer is this going to take? I've been waiting for so long!"
"Oh please. Be patient Felix. Don't you know that good things happen to those who are patient?"
As Felix was thinking that this cooking process was very slow, and what made the waiting process more agonizing was that delicious smell which repeatedly made his stomach roar angrily from hunger.
A very loud voice came from the outside which was not only heard by Felix and Celia, but even everyone in a mile radius of the restaurant heard it clearly.
"To the two of you inside, I, George Crimson-Nova, the King of the Nurenth Kingdom, am here to apologize!"
