Apology

"Thank you, Sophia. I knew I could count on you."

"I'm always happy to be of help to you, husband."

"Now go back and rest for the night. I'll make sure to start making amends in the morning."

Not saying anything Sophia turned around and left, while Felix left the private space with and went back to the Capital City.

The whole Capital City was already asleep due to how late into the night it was. But Felix ignored it all and went straight towards one of the big shops he noticed. 

Stopping in front of it, Felix thought of kicking the door and breaking into it. But before he did that, why not try knocking on the door?

Tut! Tut! Tut!

After knocking three times, Felix waited for a few seconds when the sound of someone walking on the other side was heard.

Soon the door was opened, and what stood before Felix was a woman in her nightgown who was rubbing her sleepy eyes.

"Do you know what time it is?"

"Does it look like I care?"

Given the woman's appearance, if it was some other time, Felix might have taken his time in appreciating her beauty. And maybe even have sex with her. But now wasn't the time for that.

Hearing the cold voice, the shop owner was just about to throw a tantrum, when she finally saw how handsome he looked and stopped midway.

"What do you want boy?"

"Show me all the best clothes you have."

Felix if possible would've chosen to buy from the system, since he had already seen how good the role play clothes were. Unfortunately it only sold sexy clothes, and nothing else.

Therefore all he could do was choose clothes from a real shop.

Hearing Felix, the woman's expression turned dull to the extreme thinking that what kind of an idiot shops this late into the night?

And why the hell did she choose to sleep inside the shop today?!

However still looking at the cold faced boy before him, she just couldn't reject him. Because men who behaved coldly were her dream , of men! 

"Fine! Come in!"

As the woman stepped aside, Felix walked in quickly as he was short on time.

Not wasting any time, Felix asked the woman to once again show the best clothes she had for women.

Taking Felix and letting him sit in one of the rooms, the shop owner brought various dresses to let Felix choose from. 

Looking at the various designs and models of the dresses before him, Felix truly felt a headache coming on. 

Until now he was well versed in removing the clothes on a woman, but that didn't mean he knew that they were called or how many types there were. 

As it turns out, there were many. Way too many. 

There was the formal type which was known as - Chang'ao. The sexy qipao which hugged their body showing off their charms. 

And then there were the more modern dresses known as gowns, skirts, and blouses. As for the nights, there was something known as nightgowns. 

Also other than clothes, there was the footwear known as Lotus Shoes. Head ornaments known as Phoenix Crowns. 

Looking through all the various coloured clothes which had different patterns on them. Felix chose 7 pairs of every clothing style, and 10 or so of the so called Lotus Shoes. Furthermore, he even chose some for both Maria and Slyvia.

By the time Felix was done it was almost dawn since he spent 4 hours in choosing everything, since he made sure no two pieces looked the same.

And throughout this, the shop owner tried to seduce Felix many times, but all she got in return was a cold glare which made her even more infatuated with him

Still, even though nothing happened between her and Felix even after he left, the shop owner was satisfied since Felix paid almost two million gold coins!

Such a huge sum wasn't something she saw every day despite having a shop at the busiest place of the city. After all, not everyone would buy something when they'd visit her shop.

Going back into his palace, Felix sat in the huge dining hall as he waited for his wives to wake up on their own.

It didn't take long as one by one everyone woke up, and got ready. After which they came at once to the dining hall to have their breakfast like they usually do.

However once they noticed Felix waiting for them, and they made sure they weren't dreaming everyone of them jumped onto him and hugged him not letting him go.

Looking at this Felix once again felt his heart hurt a little because this just showed how much he ignored them causing them to miss him so much.

Wrapping his arms around all of them, Felix listened to everything they said. 

"You came back after so long Felix!"

"How long do you plan on staying darling?"

"Did you miss me, Master?"

"Do you need me to hunt something else?"

Other than Sophia who stood back along with Slyvia and just watched, Eliza, Hanabi, Athena, and Maria kept on badgering Felix with nonstop questions.

"I'm sorry."

Hearing Felix say that everyone turned silent and said nothing else as they moved away from him to hear him out.

"I know that I've let all you down in the past 6 years, but there's nothing I can say or do to change that. So all I can do is think about what to do next."

"So how do these gifts serve as my apology?"

Saying so Felix used his little understanding on the Dao of Space and made the gifts he chose beforehand appear on the table where they each sit at.

Looking at the huge pile of dresses and shoes covering the table, everyone, including Sophia who gave the idea felt that Felix went overboard with them.

As for Hanabi after she looked at the quantity and quality of clothes, she immediately understood that it must've cost Felix at least a two million to buy them all.

"I know that just these gifts don't make up for all I've put you through. So I'll make sure to take things one step at a time."

"So... who wants to be the first one to go on a date with me?"

The moment Felix finished saying what he wanted every one of them started screaming to be the first one, and at the same time, they once again hugged him. 

"ME!"
