I don't like you. Nor will I ever love you

"Young boy Felix, since we've agreed to the marriage. How about we set the marriage date for two weeks from now?"

Very anxious to have Felix marry his daughter, before someone else snatches him away, George couldn't wait to get this over with.

But just so that he doesn't seem too anxious, George spoke calmly and said two weeks as if he was agreeable to the date being changed.

Not having any problems with it, Felix just nodded his head.

After all, the faster he married the crown princess, the faster he'd be able to finish the main quest.

"Good! Good! Since we've agreed on a date, feel free to do what you want for the next two weeks. I'll take care of all the preparations."

As soon as he said that a maid came to escort Felix to the residence they prepared for him in advance.

However before Felix could leave, a woman walked down from the balcony and whispered something in the King's ear. After which he said, "Hahahaha, it seems like my daughter is very anxious to meet you! So why don't you meet her first?"

Not even waiting for Felix to tell his answer, the King looked towards the maid who knew what she needed to do. Asking Felix to follow her she began walking, while Felix with the same lazy and carefree look followed behind her.

Looking at Felix's back which was slowly leaving the range of her sight, the woman who had winked at Felix, left the balcony with a smile that wasn't actually a smile.

...

"This is the Crown Princess's room, Young Master."

Having finished a part of her duty, the maid went to the side and stood there. Because when Felix came back outside, she'd need to take him to his new residence.

Pushing the door with his arms, Felix walked in, and right there she was standing in the middle of the room with a cold and detached look.

"My name is Amy Crimson-Nova. I don't like you, and I will never love you."

Encountering what could be considered as the weirdest introduction ever, Felix instantly chuckled.

"Okay, that's fine. Who told you to love me? Let's just enjoy a mutual cooperation. How does that sound?"

"Humph! A mutual cooperation? Are you sure you can give me what I want?"

Snorting coldly at Felix, thinking that he was just trying to sweet talk his way into her heart. Amy was about to give him a piece of her mind, when Felix spoke.

"How will I know if I can give it to you, when you don't even tell me what it is? So tell me, what is it that you want?"

Hearing Felix still continuing with the act, Amy asked for something she was sure that Felix will never agree.

"I want to rule this kingdom. This Nurenth Kingdom, can you give it to me?"

"Yup. As long as you do everything I tell you, you can rule this kingdom on your own."

Not able to believe her eats at how Felix just said she could have the kingdom as if it was a chocolate, Amy began doubting if they were even talking about the same thing.

The kingdom which she wanted to rule since as long as she could remember, turned out to not even be worth a second of Felix's thought.

Thinking about this, Amy began thinking that maybe this was why her father decided to use her as a pawn and marry her to the one before him.

Despite the fact that she had great talent, and reached the Qi Plant Realm before the age of 20!

However, even after this, the King chose Felix, while she was nothing more than an insurance to tie down Felix.

Because even though the King wasn't able to see through Felix's cultivation which was hidden, given the fluctuations he felt, the King was sure that Felix had at least reached the Qi Tree Realm.

Furthermore given that he sensed how Felix was less than 20 years in age, he understood that Felix had the talent to become and Peak Stage Void Shattering Cultivator!

After all, it was generally believed that only those who reached the Heaven Stage of Spirit Realm Cultivation before the age of 25 were capable of becoming a Peak Stage Void Shattering Cultivator.

And even if Felix failed to become a Peak Stage Void Shattering Cultivator, and only became an Intermediate Stage one, it was fine since his eldest daughter was destined to become an Intermediate Stage Void Shattering Cultivator without fail.

Thus regardless of what way it was, the King had made sufficient plans on being able to ascend to the Dao Realm one way or the other.

His youngest daughter, the Crown Princess on the other hand despite her talent, could only become an Initial Stage Void Shattering Cultivator.

Thus even though he loved her very much, the King didn't hesitate in the slightest to throw her away to Felix, since this gave him a chance to ascend. Which Amy couldn't do since it was impossible for her to reach the Intermediate Stage of Void Shattering Realm with her talent.

This was actually one of the reasons he chose to make the younger sister, Amy the Crown Princess, instead of the elder one. Because if he ever found a talented make with whom he could ascend this realm, he could use the words 'Marry the Crown Princess' and tie him down.

"Are... Are you saying the truth?"

"Of course I am. Because I honestly don't have any interest in ruling this kingdom. Once I've finished what I came here for, I'll definitely leave it behind me. When that happens, if you're confident enough in ruling this kingdom, feel free to take it."

Waiting a little while to make sure Amy understood him properly, Felix asked her, "Does this mean we have a deal?"

As soon as Amy nodded her head while still in a daze, Felix felt the room thinking that he had just made the main mission easier.

...

Reaching the building which was given to him as his temporary residence, Felix felt that the King had definitely given him one of the best mansions because the ones he had walked past weren't as good as the one in front of him.

Walking in Felix moved past the maids, and up the stairs and straight into the bedroom after which he locked the door.

"Isn't it time for you to come out?"

As soon as he said that, a woman became visible not too far from him. And the expression on her face showed that she wasn't surprised at the fact that Felix had found her.

"Just as I expected, you have the understanding of at least one Dao. According to my guess, it should be the Dao of Wind. Right?"
