I want your wife

As Felix got closer to the village which was almost as big as the Broken Moon City he visited, he sensed that there were many strong people living in it.

In fact, he was sure that the strongest person inside the village was even stronger than George who ruled over the Nurenth Kingdom.

If just some random person living in a village on the outskirts of the continent was already strong enough to defeat the head of one of the strongest kingdoms on the Nurenth Kingdom, Felix began thinking how strong would the people living in Empires be. And how much stronger would the rulers of those Empires be?

Once Felix was close enough, he saw that even though the village appeared crude from outside, it wasn't as simple as it looked.

Just the boundary walls were made from a certain metal known as Star Copper which despite not being known as the best one on Cloud Continent, was something which was worth a fortune.

As for building a huge boundary of many many kilometres with Star Copper, even the Nurenth Kingdom would have to expend a third of its resources.

Glancing at its name which was written above the opened gates, Felix took his step inside the Ashstorm Village.

...

For the past few minutes Felix spent all of his time walking around the Ashstorm village while bearing the curious glances of every villager he passed by, and he discovered that, the village had no such thing as an inn.

It turned out that the village was so out in the wilderness, that people from the inner zones of the continent almost never visited them.

Other than the merchant group who visit once every year to buy the dead beasts and their products hunted by the villagers, no one had ever once visited this village.

Learning all of this from a woman who was very enthusiastic to tell him all he needed to know, Felix also learnt that the merchant caravan should be coming sometime next week.

As long as he went with them, he should be able to reach the nearby city and use the teleportation arrays there to go wherever he wants to.

Since he didn't have anything to do until the merchant group came, Felix who felt a little too eager to leave the woman who looked like she would hug him at any moment, thanked her for the help and started walking away.

Thinking that he'd just spend a few days on the outskirts of the village, and then catch a ride with the merchants, Felix was just about to leave when he saw a huge poster near the gates.

Despite how big the poster was, it turned out to be a single notice.

All it had on it was a huge vivid picture of a White Tiger, and the title written was help needed to subdue it. As for the rewards it was said that they could ask for anything they want from the village, including their most precious and strongest weapon.

Reading this Felix felt a little curious about the White Tiger in the notice, and what could he possibly find worthy enough to do this task.

Looking around he found someone to ask his questions to and be a worthy reward as well.

"Excuse me, could you let me know a little more about this."

As soon as those words left Felix's mouth, not only the woman whom he asked, but everyone nearby that was looking at Felix cursiosly stared at him with wide eyes full of hope.

Just as Felix was about to start frowning, the woman quickly came near him and spoke in a fawning voice.

"I knew from the first time I saw you that you were a very heroic young man. And only someone like you is capable of saving our livelihood from that greedy White Tiger."

Beginning with that the Wan Felix called for told him all the details, while more and more people started surrounding him waiting for his answer.

It turns out that the village lived purely based on the beasts they hunted and sold. But suddenly out of nowhere a very strong White Tiger came and began killing every beast it saw.

Due to this even though it didn't hurt any of the villagers, it was impacting their daily lifestyle.

Therefore a few of them had planned to kill it, but the group which consisted of the five strongest men in the village were killed by a single swipe of the White Tiger's claw.

From that, they learnt that the beast was in the Heaven Realm of the Spirit Cultivation, and regardless of how many more people they sent, they'd only become a meal for it.

Thus they kept this notice up in hopes that someone who visits the village might get curious and defeat the White Tiger for them, but it had already been a whole year since they put it up and Felix was the only one who came to visit their village.

What Felix didn't know was that the original rewards weren't anything special at all, and instead just a few average grade riches. But given how much lesser the number of beasts they hunted over the year was, due to the White Tiger killing too many of them, the village head compromised and said he'd be willing to part with his family treasure as long as someone gets rid of it.

"So I can ask for anything I want?"

Saying so Felix locked his lips greedily while looking at the woman who was telling him all of this.

Understanding his intention the woman also seductively smiled, when a commotion arose in the crowd. Watching the crowd part way for an old man to walk.

Felix realized that he was the strongest man he sensed from outside. And now that he was so close he guessed that his cultivation was somewhere in middle levels of the Qi Nascent Soul Realm.

"Husband."

Nodding his head at the woman who was talking to Felix until now, the old man who had limbs that looked like dried twigs and eyes that were close to losing all light in them, seriously looked towards Felix.

Unfortunately, he failed to sense how strong Felix was due to which he immediately became happy thinking that he was at least in the Heaven Stage.

"What do you want young hero? As long as it is in our power, we'll definitely give you whatever you want."

"Really? Then I want your wife."
