Sophia's True Identity

"How dare you say that little boy?! Do you know who I am? Do you know what noble race I belong to?"

What started out as yelling, turned into a soft suggesting voice.

"Why start a war against the whole Vermillion Bird race for just one woman's body? Wouldn't it be better for you to build a relationship with us by letting me go?"

Even though Vivian was full of pride, she wasn't the stupid kind to say she'd kill Felix or anything similar when she didn't have the strength to do so.

Therefore she acted as if she was looking to the best of his interests by suggesting that he would have a great future by letting her go, along with the underlying hidden threat that their race wouldn't leave him alone if he dared to force her into something.

"You're cute, you know that?"

"What do you mean?"

Not minding the narrowed eyes, and irritated tone, Felix smiled.

"Do you really think I'm scared of your race? Look at this cute little one here. With her by my side I can offend the whole Dao Realm and still survive for as long as I want."

Indeed what Felix said was true, because even though the Nine Tailed Golden fox couldn't destroy the whole Dao Realm and everyone in it, it could easily keep itself safe and escape whenever it wants to.

Unless a huge intricate trap was planned to kill Maria, like they had done when they slaughtered her ancestors, it was almost impossible to kill a full fledged Nine Tailed Golden Fox like her.

Even Vivian knew about this, but since Felix chose to point it out she understood that he had made his decision and her words wouldn't influence him.

While Maria looked proud and happy at the same time from Felix's trust in her, sighing from resignation, Vivian asked, "What do you plan on doing with me?"

"For now, just follow my cute fox and do as it says. Because I've got something more pressing to take care of."

As soon as Felix's words were finished, someone knocked on the door and spoke with an alluring voice.

"Can I come inside honoured guest?"

The voice belonged to Gloria, and she came up here to personally give Felix all the items he bid for in the auction. After all, the auction was over, and she wanted to find out as much information about him as possible.

"Come in."

Opening the door and coming inside, Gloria's eyes become huge as saucers from everything she saw on the inside.

It wasn't as if she hadn't prepared herself for the fact that there would be many beautiful women inside the room, but she didn't expect to see the Vermillion bird in her human form without a collar on its neck obediently standing in the corner like an obedient servant.

Also as she walked inside and saw the woman whose breasts Felix was resting his head on, she once again felt shocked.

'Sophia Gilmore!!! I thought she was dead... How come she's still alive?'

Once Gloria saw Sophia's gave all of her previous thoughts had disappeared filling her head with memories of her, and questions that only Sophia knew the answers to.

As far as Gloria could remember, Sophia was boasted as the once in a million years genius that was born in the Nexus Kingdom.

She was the daughter of the previous Emperor who was obsessed with growing strong so much, that he ended up dying due to Qi deviation after absorbing more Qi than he could control.

But even before that happened, his Empress passed away for some reason after which the eldest daughter disappeared as well, leaving her younger sister as the next successor.

Despite being the second choice, her younger sister's talent wasn't much worse than her elder sister, and after the previous Emperor's death, she took over the throne and ruled the Nexus Kingdom on her own.

Seeing Sophia who was thought to be dead come back, that too at such a time where the War of the Continents was soon about to happen, Gloria felt that she was trying to take the throne back from her younger sister.

After all, given her talent, Gloria wouldn't be too surprised if her cultivation was in the peak stage of Qi Life and Destruction Realm, just one step away from being able to shatter the void.

If Gloria's plan before coming here was to obtain information about the mysterious buyer who was too strong to be in the Spirit Realm, then she was now even more interested in finding out about why Sophia was with him, and what her plans were.

"You can leave now."

Understanding what Gloria meant, Nana repeatedly nodded her head and left with a huge smile. Because she knew that along with the huge commission she was going to get, her status would definitely go up after serving such an important guest.

In fact, due to this, the auction house might even give her a permanent position on the top floor to serve the best and most influential guests that visit the auction house.

"Here are all the items you bid for honourable guest."

While Gloria recovered her professional smile, and waved her hand a maid stepped forward with a golden tray in her hands that had a spatial ring on it.

Once the ring appeared, all of Felix's women almost instantly lunged at it to be the first one to get it and see all of the items they bought.

Seeing this both Felix and Sophia chuckled, as she said, "Could all of you do this somewhere else and leave us alone."

For some reason, no women rejected anything Sophia ever said to them, just like now. Hanabi took the ring and went back to the palace, as the remaining women also followed her since everyone was excited to see the things they just bought.
