First day of war 

The so called discussion turned out to be a lecture from Felix, since he was the only one who spoke the whole time, while the others sat there and listened to him silently without interrupting him. 

In fact, Felix's plans weren't complicated in the least. He just wanted the armies to hold back the enemy armies, while he took care of killing the top brass. 

Once he killed all the major decision makes of the other true continents, there wouldn't be much of a resistance from the armies, if they were sensible. 

And even if they weren't, Felix would join them and continue the slaughter until everyone gave in, resulting in him obtaining the control of all three continents, and everything else in the Spirit Realm. 

But for this plan to work, Felix needed information regarding where the enemy leaders were. Therefore he told Judith and Kandy to go together and locate where they were at, and once they did he'd take care of the rest. 

After the so called discussion was over, every guest who attended it left with ugly faces that reeled of helplessness. Because from now on they were nothing more than subordinates to the Nexus Kingdom. 

Though they could try to run away, or band together and resists it was quite clear that the result wouldn't be what they hoped for. However, they still couldn't help but feel reluctant to accept their current situation. 

Of course, there were even a few of them who had already accepted the situation, and even started making plans for the future. 

As long as they performed good and pleased Felix or Selena, they had a chance to become Nobles in the new Nexus Kingdom. And in case Felix's plan was successful and he ruled all three continents, even if they were the lowest level of noble, their influence would be many times greater than it was now. 

Nobles were something every Empire had, and they were awarded nobility for performing meritious deeds such as fighting valiantly in a war, winning a losing battle, helping the Empire when it needed, and so on. 

Previously the Nexus Empire had around 70 or so nobles, each of different levels, but after the discussion, Selena had stripped them all of their ranks since the upcoming war would usher their Empire into a new era. And she wanted to build it from the bottom up. 

After the discussion was over, it didn't take long for Selena to consult with Felix and come up with details about how many noble ranks would be given, and what their true strength represented.

The ranks of nobility were decided as Dukes, Marquess', Earls, Viscounts, and Barons. With Duke being the highest authority below the Royal Family, and Barons being the lowest grade of nobility. 

Once everyone heard the announcement from Selena about the future noble ranks, every strong individual immediately started eyeing for the title of Duke. 

This was because according to the announcement, there would only be three Dukes, and their fief would be the three real continents. 

As for Marquess' they would be given 20 islands, Earls 10, Viscounts 5, and Barons could control only 1.

With such great rewards up for the taking, everyone who felt disappointed about losing their own Empires, immediately turned enthusiastic to obtain a nobility title. 

Because regardless of how grand their Empire was, in no way could it compare to ruling over 20 different islands!

Once all the final preparations were finished, the whole continent's armies, which were completely under Felix's and Selena's control marched straight to the triangle of death through the teleportation portals. 

From the first war of the continents, until now, the war always took place in the same place. The triangle of death.

The triangle of death was the name it was given since death was the only thing you could find there.

The triangle of death was actually an island that was located perfectly in the middle of the three real continents, and had always been used as the battle zone.

This was because it would be too much loss for the war to take place in any of the continents, and that too when the war happened repeatedly once every thousand years.

Therefore the triangle of death was chosen as the location for the war to take place.

Like always the war would happen the same way.

First, all three continents would bring their armies inside it. After that... there was nothing left other than fighting until two sides surrendered and only one remained.

This would only happen once their leaders decided that the loss of their armies was too much to continue. Once two of the three continents gave up, the winning side would get to choose which all islands would be under its control.

However, they could only choose 60% of the total islands, as the remaining were to be equally split among the other two continents.

Furthermore due to an agreement, once the victory was decided, the losing sides were not allowed to launch another attack on the winning side. This was just the way it had been since the first war. And in case any side violated it, there would no longer be a way for the three continents to live in peace, since they would be surrounded in constant war.

Entering the triangle of death, Felix felt like it was truly like the name suggested.

Though there weren't any dead bodies lying around, or bones of those who died in the past wars, the signs of battle and death were clearly visible in every step.

Huge scars were visible on all rocks and mountains around them, and the soil itself was soaked with the blood of so many wars that the land looked pure red in colour.

It looked so red, that it gave one the impression that blood would flow out of it, in case they squeezed it tightly. Even the air felt heavy as if all the blood got evaporated and was stagnated within it.

Letting out a breath Felix, nodded his head at Selena giving her the indication to proceed like planned.

In every war, the first day was just a way for each continent to test the other two continents' strength. Therefore they would only send a small part of their army to meet at a location while the true force remained far away to just observe.

At the same time, they'd try to figure out where the enemies had formed their main camp at so that they could launch sneak attacks on it.

Once a small force was sent from their army, as discussed beforehand the remaining army was split into nine parts with each one forming a camp not too far from where Selena and Felix would form the main camp at.
