The Spirit Empire

As everyone in the Spirit Realm continued to look at the five huge beasts that were covering the sky, the beasts didn't just stand their either. 

Just like they were told by Felix, they shouted together. 

"FROM THIS DAY FORTH THE WHOLE REALM IS UNDER THE CONTROL OF OUR MASTER, EMPEROR FELIX! THE REALM WILL ALSO BE KNOWN AS THE SPIRIT EMPIRE FROM NOW ON, AND COMPLETELY BELONG TO THE EMPEROR!"

Hearing the loud announcement which shook the whole realm physically and the residents mentally, the five beasts disappeared like they never existed. When they had just turned smaller and we're competing for a spot to rest on Felix's body. 

Like usual Maria had once again taken a while shoulder to herself, and Evangeline in her mini dragon form had taken the other shoulder for herself. 

Therefore Vivian could only stay on his head along with Irithel, while Sylvia wrapped herself around Felix's neck. 

Feeling a little awkward with so many beasts surrounding him all over, Felix inwardly shook his head and didn't say anything. 

Going down Felix started discussing with Selena to decide what they'd do next.

It had already been a month since the war had been finished, and Felix took control of the whole Spirit Realm, and turned it into the Spirit Empire. 

By now the common residents no longer discussed about what happened on that day, and continued living their lives like they used to. And even the strong individuals had come to accept their new situation. 

After the war was completed just like promised Felix and Selena chose three Dukes to rule each of the real continents. And all of the remaining islands were given to various nobles based on how Selena felt about them. 

Originally the plan was to decide based on military accomplishments, however since Felix had singlehandedly won the war, there were no meritious deeds from anyone. 

Therefore Selena was left with the choice to decide on whom to appoint as nobles, what rank to give them, and how big their fief would be. 

Felix, however, didn't bother himself the slightest about these issues, and focused on the task at hand. 

On the very day he announced the establishment of the Spirit Empire, the system gave him a new main mission. 

[Main Mission 5 - It's time to leave the realm of mortals, and enter the realm of immortals. Ascend the Spirit Realm and join the Ethereal Dao College in the Dao Realm where the next part of your journey awaits.

Reading the mission details Felix didn't even have time to frown and curse at it, because he had to rush and increase his cultivation as soon as possible. 

This was because the system would count taking outside help as him failing the quest, so he needed to go from the 7th stage of Qi Soul Embryo Realm to at least the Initial Stage of Void Shattering Realm in just 5 years! 

What made it hard wasn't because he had to cross a total of three major cultivation realms, but the fact that two of the three realms were in the Heaven Realm of Spirit Cultivation. 

Unlike in the Earth Realm of Spirit Cultivation, cultivating in the Heaven Realm was filled with risk at every turn. And even the slightest mistake would mean death! 

Though Felix didn't have to fear death since his body would automatically cultivate on its own, if he wanted to reach the Initial Stage of Void Shattering Realm, he'd need to cultivate on his own. 

After all, though auto cultivation was a great ability Felix obtained from the system, its speed wasn't heaven defying at all. In fact, it was actually slower than normal cultivation. 

But Felix who never cared about cultivating on his own didn't mind the slower speed, since he grew stronger every second. 

Unfortunately the same couldn't be continued any longer and he needed to focus purely on cultivation if he wanted to reach his goal. 

And what made all of this worse was that he couldn't continue growing stronger through just dual cultivation, because the difference of cultivation strength between him and his women wasn't big enough to let him grow strong fast enough. 

Even the idea of dual cultivating with Maria, Vivian, and Evangeline who were from the Dao Realm wasn't feasible because repeated sex with the same women would greatly reduce the effect it had on one's cultivation gains. 

Therefore after a long "discussion" with all of his women, Felix announced that he would be spending the next five years in seclusion growing stronger, and would only come out once he reached his goal. 

Listening to Felix who wanted to achieve something which took hundreds of years, in just a span of five years, all of his women accepted his idea and didn't try to stop him. 

At the same time, they also decided to spend the next few years cultivating alongside Felix so that they wouldn't hold Felix back in the future. 

The only women who chose to not cultivate were Maria, Vivian, Evangeline, and Sophia. This was because their strength was too high to continue growing in the Spirit Realm. 

While the three beasts could only cultivate Dao, Sophia was in the Void Shattering Realm and could only wait until going to the Dao Realm to once again start cultivating.

"Why did you leave so abruptly sister?"

"I'm sure you've already guessed it, Selena. So why bother asking me?"

"It was due to our mother right? Just like she gave me a prophecy, she gave you one as well."

"Indeed. So I did just as she wanted me to do, and found my fated one."

Saying so Sophia looked out of the window towards the pool made of sparkling white Spiritual Qi with a warm and happy expression.

"But.... How could you leave when mom was on her deathbed, sister?!"

Shouting at her sister who didn't seem to care about leaving their mother on her deathbed, and looked longingly at some boy, Selena couldn't believe that she was the same sister she knew.

"Calm down Selena, I didn't expect you to not have figured it out yet."

"Figure what out?"

"Do you really believe that our mother has passed away?"
