The Final Mission

Reading the mission Felix felt incredulous because this was by far the most ridiculous mission he ever recieved. 

Not to mention how vague the details were regarding it, the rewards for finishing it and the punishment for failure were both extreme in their own ways. 

However he had no choice but to do it because Felix wasn't willing to give up all his cultivation, life span, and everything else he achieved so far because he couldn't make sense of the mission.

Following the direction given by the System, Felix left the palace saying he had something important to do and began travelling to a place which was scarcely populated. 

The Forest of Solitude. 

This place was located quite far from the Land of Gods which was considered to be at the centre of the Dao Realm. 

The lush and full of life looking forest was given this name due to how low the concentration of Qi and Dao was in the air. 

Due to this reason though the atmosphere was quite good, there weren't any beasts it. The same way that there were no humans living in it. Other than Amelia who was described as the truest woman by the System. 

After a few days of travel, Felix finally reached the Forest of Solitude and began gazing at it from above. 

While the whole forest was very thick and covered in trees, there was a considerably small patch in the middle of it. 

From up there, Felix could see a small house beside what looked like the lake which allowed all the trees inside the forest to survive. 

As Felix was gazing down, he noticed that a woman came out of the small wooden house with a clay vessel in her hand. 

The woman wasn't an exceptional beauty who could shake the whole world, like Felix expected. In fact she looked quite average in all aspects ranging from her face to the body. 

But for some reason Felix felt a deep attraction towards this average looking lady. 

Moving towards the lake, the woman stopped midway and looked straight at Felix. 

Stunend for a second that the woman was able to perceive his existence so quickly, given how strong he had grown over the years, Felix felt curious about the woman who was most likely Amelia. 

Before Felix who was proceeding down could reach the ground, a sweet voice sounded beside his ears.

While a little surprised that she knew who he was, Felix didn't ask her much about it. After all, he was quite a famous individual in the Dao Realm.

Shaking her head, Amelia looked at Felix with disdain like she was used to such a thing happening everyday.

This time Felix didn't act oblivious, but genuinely asked her, "Isn't that what all women want?"

Snorting coldly, Amelia began explaining a lot of things the same way she did to every man who tried to court her until now.

"We women are not like you expect us. For us women, men are our husbands, our other half. You are our only way to enjoy the true satisfaction of being a woman, motherhood."
