Is This Considered as a Success?

"They say to follow your dreams, look where that got me. I can't even stand up now because my legs vanished too."

"~Allllllll that hard work was for nothing. All those studies were for nothing. All those sleepless nights were for nothing. All those good times I wasted were for nothing. NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL."

"They say to look on the bright side, well the only bright side I can see here is that now we don't need to test if the atomizer works, no wait, even if it did, now it's destroyed. Alllll this is because of some criminal who's name isn't even known trying to steal some petty money or whatever, I still don't even know his motive."

"How funny is that? I don't even know why that guy did this. What purpose could some petty criminal like him could even have that can justify doing this.I was just saving Annie from some street burglars, but look what happened now."

"It looks like I'm about to vanish completely now, so all that is meaningless to think about now. I'm gonna hold you to your promise, Annie, I won't ever forget it. If there is a next time, I will do whatever I want, however silly they may be, I'll do what makes me happy, I won't pursue some vain dream that I don't know why I got obsessed with that much."

Those were Keiji's last words before he disappeared completely.

In a big house in a bustling city, a mother can be seen holding a small child that looks like he's just been born. She was holding him in her embrace while he kept on crying, till suddenly he stopped and his facial expression could be seen changing from one of sadness to one of pure confusion.

'Huh? Where am I? Did I not just disappear? And where is this? And why does this house look like in from ancient times? What's with my body feeling so weak?' Unsure of his situation, Keiji kept asking himself questions that nobody will answer.

"Phew, He finally stopped." A silver haired black eyed man who has a face that seems to be chiseled, spoke in relief.

"Do not say that, he's just been born, of course he would, it's not our first child honey, so you should know that already." A woman, who had blonde hair with blue eyes that compliment them, with a little bump with a not-so sharp edge that seems to be her nose giving her a mature and womanly charm, but still retaining her youthful look.

"I get that, but they didn't cry as much. They got tired after a while and fell asleep, he didn't, he just looks to be confused." The man stated his thoughts.

"Maybe because he's special, he was the one who spent the longest in my womb." The woman replied with a slight sense of pride.

"We both know that has nothing to do with anything."

'Who are these people? And why can't I hear what they're talking about? Born? Who's been born? Me? Does that mean I've successfully transmigrated? Did I succeed? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, YES YES YES YES, I FINALLY ACHIEVED MY DREAM. Oh every body I cursed before, I'm sorry and thank you. HAHAHAHA.'

Keiji's thoughts were in a streak of happiness, knowing that he finally achieved his dream made him forget about the sense of despair he felt just a while ago. But Keiji's thoughts and what came out of his mouth were totally different.

"Gaja haahaaaaha gaheih gah gah." With his body moving excitedly.

"Look at our little baby go." The woman looked delighted that her child was happy, even if she did not know the reason and started rubbing her nose to his.

"No matter how I look at it, this one doesn't seem normal." The man voiced his thoughts.

"That's why we decided to try raising him differently this time, so it's okay for him to be a little weird, he'll still be my child."

"What should we name him then?"

"Let's ask him that, hihi."

"How will he answer? He can't even speak."

"Shhhhhhhh, just stay quiet, I'll handle it with my motherly heart. So, my cute little baby, what would you like your name to be?"

'When it comes to her children, she doesn't think well at all, I feel like she might ruin the plan by spoiling him too much. Ughh' The man couldn't voice out his thoughts as be felt partially responsible for he being like that, and he also spoiled their children.

Keiji, still lost in his own world, wasn't aware of anything and kept laughing out of happiness. "Gaahaa gojih."

"Gojih, gaja, gaheih, what can we make from all of that, geija, geijaja, gajaeiji, KEIJI! That's it!" The woman excitedly shouted the name she came up with for her child, to be exact, the one her child, who's name is now Keiji, came up with, or helped at least.

"Keiji Valencia, a good name. Fitting for my child." The man showed his satisfaction with the name.

'Did Annie transmigrate too? Or did she go to another world? Can I look for her? Well, no point thinking about that for now, I can't even see well or speak properly. For now let's figure out how to live in this world.'

"So, should I start making preparations for his training?" The man asked.
