Chapter 77: The Unity of Three: Quest for Redemption

"Kurogami Masayuki, Snow Sky-Dog, today I have something very important to discuss with you two deities! Are you willing to listen to my confession?"

"What could be so important, Mizuchi Haruka, my girlfriend?" Snow Sky-Dog showed interest in Mizuchi Haruka's demeanor through the expression on her face, but perhaps he didn't care much about what Mizuchi Haruka was about to say.

"Just go ahead and tell me, Mizuchi Haruka, my little sister!" Unlike Snow Sky-Dog, Kurogami Masayuki felt completely drawn to her mysterious demeanor.

"Well, Snow Sky-Dog, Kurogami Masayuki, yesterday I met a girl in the academy grounds of the deities. She was walking and crying, looking very pitiful! Her face looked extremely sad, so I approached her to talk, to confide in her. And I realized something very surprising! The girl is facing a difficult situation as a character playing an extremely important role in a series of difficult and complex tasks that we have undertaken, are still undertaking, and will continue to undertake, as it will not end anytime soon."

"Why beat around the bush and make it mysterious, Mizuchi Haruka! Just get to the point for me! So, who is this girl?" Kurogami Masayuki seemed to be losing patience with the prolonged conversation, directing the listeners' attention to the climax of Mizuchi Haruka's story.

"That girl is the one betrothed to 'Steel Dragon' Ryujin Tetsu!"

"What? You're not joking with us, Mizuchi Haruka!" Both Snow Sky-Dog and Kurogami Masayuki were extremely surprised by this revelation from Mizuchi Haruka.

"'Steel Dragon' Ryujin Tetsu, you are despicable! You have a woman to love, care for, and protect, yet you still go on to deceive, and trick Seraphina Frostwind, my girlfriend!" Snow Sky-Dog fumed, clenching his teeth together angrily. His eyes narrowed with fury, veins pulsing across his beautiful, snow-white complexion. His enraged gaze resembled not so much a sharp blade (it was even more dangerous and terrifying than that - it looked like a snowstorm, or at least an avalanche).

Kurogami Masayuki gently placed his firm and warm hand on Snow Sky-Dog's shoulder. He tried to soothe the tumultuous emotions, the barely controllable anger of Snow Sky-Dog. The truth was, Snow Sky-Dog was in a complex romantic relationship with both beautiful girls at the same time: Seraphina Frostwind and Mizuchi Haruka; yet, he didn't want to hurt either of them. While it was hard to determine which of the two stunning girls Snow Sky-Dog loved more; it could be asserted with certainty that Snow Sky-Dog would annihilate anyone who dared to harm Mizuchi Haruka and Seraphina Frostwind! If Snow Sky-Dog unleashed his terrifying, uncompromising snowstorm, showing no mercy and no trace of restraint towards the adversaries he considered as enemies that couldn't coexist in all three vast worlds; then perhaps even the dragon race would have to bow before that snowstorm - a snowstorm that even the God of the Deities would probably not want to confront.

"Kurogami Masayuki, my elder brother! Now, I just want to annihilate the entire dragon race! I want to destroy the wretched 'Steel Dragon' Ryujin Tetsu! Since being born on the snowy mountain until now, I detest nothing more than those who view women as sacrifices, as tools to achieve vile purposes, and the cowards they are. Brother, Kurogami Masayuki, you and I confronted that wretch 'Steel Dragon' Ryujin Tetsu in the dining hall that day; but Seraphina Frostwind had nothing to do with it. If he wants revenge, then why doesn't he lift his heavy rear end and seek revenge on us openly like a true man? Why does he choose to seek revenge on us by trying to deceive Seraphina Frostwind, the important and precious woman of my life? How can he behave so despicably and poorly; while he is a dragon deity, a deity with a noble position in the world of the deities; and he already has a lover who loves him with all her sincere heart? So why can he act so despicably, like a lowly scoundrel of the Human World? I swear to both of your deities and all living beings of all three worlds, in the impending large-scale and fierce battle - a battle that all three worlds cannot avoid; I will fight with all my might to make that wretch 'Steel Dragon' Ryujin Tetsu disappear forever from all three worlds!" A hot tear fell from Snow Sky-Dog's beautiful eyes. After that tear was a radiant red glow emanating from Snow Sky-Dog's body. Their mentor had taught them about something called radiance. Kurogami Masayuki remembered hearing his mentor say that the strongest radiance was the red radiance. This radiance is emitted when its owner is furious. And the brighter the radiance, the easier it is for its owner to create an extremely terrifying destructive power.

"Calm down, Snow Sky-Dog! You rarely lose your temper, but now you're losing that temper! The anger will amplify your fighting spirit exponentially. But it is reserved for the enemies on the battlefield, now if you're too angry, you might lose your inherent wisdom. I understand your feeling of anger at this moment. Even though you love both beautiful girls, Seraphina Frostwind, and Mizuchi Haruka at the same time, you treat them both very responsibly, very gently, and very respectfully. I swear to you, the most sacred oath is that I will make the wretch 'Steel Dragon' Ryujin Tetsu pay for what he has done. You, me, and Mizuchi Haruka will stand together in recovering the 8 lost magical items; thwarting the rebellious plot of the rogue youkai, and punishing the dragons in this rebellion, including the wretch 'Steel Dragon' Ryujin Tetsu."

Kurogami Masayuki's words were like a cool breeze sneaking into Snow Sky-Dog's burning soul, soothing some of the raging anger within him. His eyes gradually became brighter, still containing a radiant glow of determination and will.

"Thank you, elder brother," Snow Sky-Dog murmured, his tone wavering between discontent and patience. "I cannot let the wretch 'Steel Dragon' Ryujin Tetsu continue to deceive and harm the ones I love. We must confront and defeat him, not only for ourselves but also to protect the entire world."

Mizuchi Haruka, who had been silent in deep thought in the first few minutes of the conversation, suddenly spoke up:

"We cannot leave our fate in the hands of evil, we cannot allow the wicked to continue to rule. We must act now before it's too late."

The three gods sat in silence, their thoughts on the impending battle and their goals spread across the sky of each person's mind. Their power lay not only in physical strength and magical power but also in courage and indomitable will, qualities that would be tested in the challenges ahead.

In the silent space, it seemed as though the music of determination and hope resonated in the minds of the three deities. They were not just warriors with swords and spells, but also individuals carrying within them grand dreams and responsibilities. The painful past, the sins, and the regrets were all part of their lives, yet they did not allow themselves to be imprisoned by the fragments of the past.

But beneath the surface of patience and determination, in the soul of each individual, there still lingered memories and hopes. Snow Sky-Dog wished to protect those he loved; he would not allow them to suffer any further harm. Kurogami Masayuki, with the keenness and responsibility of an elder brother, would prioritize his promises; he would be willing to sacrifice himself to protect everyone. Mizuchi Haruka, with determination and ambition, desired to move forward, not letting pain and suffering define their lives.

With the combination of physical strength, magical prowess, intellect, and courage, the three deities rose, preparing for a new journey. Although daunting and perilous challenges lay ahead, through unwavering determination and trust in each other, they would overcome all obstacles, vanquish all foes, and safeguard their three worlds.

With a meaningful handshake, the three deities stepped out of the silence, ready to face new challenges, to write the next chapter of their story—a tale of hope, determination, and courage in the battle against darkness and demons.
