"Ah!" Alexander heaved a sigh of relief, as he stood beside the shock stricken Cedric. "I totally forgot that a pond was here. I'm sorry about that. It could have caused a bigger fire." He said with heavy breaths.

He looked around, and saw a long take which he then picked up and used it to take the book out of the pond. "My cloth is ruined." Alexander mumbled out loud, while Cedric just stood there looking at him with a dumbstruck expression.
Alexander took the book, checking to see if there was a chance the damage done to the book wouldn't be so bad. The book had been totally drenched, and the words had blurred, and as he tried opening the pages, it just kept falling apart.
