Marine wakes up to the annoying sound of her alarm. She looks at the clock and it 9:40.
"Fuck! It's 9:40?! Fuck my life, I had to reach at 10. Jesus, I swear to god I will never drink again!"
She rushed out of his bed and hopped into the shower. She got ready and wore a white short tops and black ripped jeans paired with white vans and the Gucci sunglasses her best friend, Hanna had gifted her.
She reached the studio only to meet glaring eyes of Mark, small but scary.
"You're late, Marine"
The fact that he called him Marine made Marine smile since that gave him an assurance that Mark wasn't going to rip her testicles off.
"I'm sorry, mark. I had a rough night."
Mark arched an eyebrow "I see. You okay? Or do you need something for the hangover?" Marine's body filled with a weird sensation of shame and guilt, she answered timidly "No, mark. And I'm sorry for drinking so much" mark said "you better be. You know better ". He said it sternly but in a caring way. Marine hugged his best friend and mark smiled. "Aish! You're always so touchy." Marine chuckled " But you still love me!"
Mark held back his smile and noticed how her smile could light up the entire world. If she and Hanna smiled together there would be no war.
He pushed Marine and signalled him to rush to the practice room. The moment Marine entered the whole room lit up. Hanna hugged and Lisa smiled at her warmly. Jackson looked at his watch and arched an eyebrow, Marine shrugged and gave him puppy eyes.
Marine just chuckled softly and said "This is the last time Marine ,
Marine smiled so widely that her eyes almost looked like they were shut. She scanned the room for Joe and saw that he just came out of the washroom. Marine blushed at the sight in front of him. Joe had just washed his face, his white T-shirt a little damp. Joe smiled widely at him "Hi, marine,". Marine snapped out if her wonderland and responded with a grin. Marine scanned the room for her best friend who was nowhere to be seen. She asked everyone where she was and they all just shrugged. And everyone knew why. "I would be surprised if she showed up at all. She could use some healing time. " said Jackson and everyone hummed. Suddenly she heard the door open at it was her best friend looking tired. Jack jumped at the girl and kissed her deeply. Everyone in the room would usually cringe but no one reacted, they knew that her grandmother's death had affected her gravely. Jack wrapped his arms around Hanna's neck...
Hanna kissed him back, she needed his boyfriend so much. She needed his touch. After a few seconds they broke the kiss, Marine said "hanna, go home. You need to rest"
Hanna spoke up "No. The house..It reminds me of her. " "Let's go to my place, baby. " said jack, fighting his own tears as he saw her girlfriend looking so defeated. Everyone encouraged him except for one, Joe. Everyone felt that he was in love with hanna but he never really gave out clear signals.
Then joe finally spoke "We all can go for dinner tonight after practice".
Hanna nodded and said "I need all of you. Please guys.
Marine ran up to her and gave him a big hug, she herself was tearing up. She turned around to see that all the members were in tears, even Mark. This just proved that (dreams) was a family. Mark said "tonight we feast on all of her favorite dishes. This dinner is on the boys"
