CHAPTER 8

New Beginning

Welcome to Generia Kingdom,,a kingdom known for its green land . It is located near a forest and mountains surrounding it. Generia Kingdom is believed to be a great kingdom with the help of its rulers who brought victory over the land.

Generia was named by the first leader whom leadership was bestowed upon. It was after a great battle had occurred that led to the deaths of many people. Men and women, young and old,, children and adults were not spared.

Seeing that the war would continue,,it was then decided that new rules be made and a leader to be selected. With this decision a man by the name Martin Harlow was elected as a leader. Doing what a leader was expected to do,, Martin led the people in bringing victory ending the battle.

Martin Harlow was later crowned as the king and he named the place Generia. It was named so for the Genesis of the land a new beginning.

Over time with changing seasons,,the kingdom transformed into a better place with unity among the people. The descendants of king Martin Harlow also ruled the same way with a mission of transforming the kingdom.

Just like every other kingdom,, Generia also experienced differences in hierarchy. The elites,, those who belong to the high society and the peasants that belonged to the low society.

After so many years since the beginning of Generia Kingdom,, life became normal and the war was long forgotten.

In one particular day,, on a market day a where it was not long since the sun had risen,, people were seen to be busy,, they were either selling or buying goods. Different local carriages were also passing by dropping off and picking up new passengers.

"How much is this please?" Anastasia a young lady asked pointing at a dress.

"A silver coin would do ma'am." The seller replied expecting to earn more than usual.

Things didn't go as planned since Anastasia managed to bargain the price and bought the dress at a lower price. Buying some other items she headed home.

Meet Anastasia,,a young lady who works at the palace as a maid serving the royal family. She was given a day off to rest before resuming back to work. Taking this chance she decided to visit her brother and his family. Reaching home she met her niece,, Becky playing.

"See who is playing while her aunt is here" Ana joked gaining a scream of happiness from her niece.

" I am glad you came to visit us." Max , Ana's brother commented

" Ooh sister-in-law it been long" Elle replied while hugging her.

Anastasia was lucky to have a family where she could visit during her off days.

Deciding it was a good idea to be back,,Ana explained about her work to her brother and sister-in-law who listened to her. They spoke for a very long time and Ana enjoyed the meal given to her by Elle.

When it was time to leave,, Ana prepared herself ready to leave for the palace. Max offered to drop her . Bidding the rest goodbye Ana left with her brother

On their way both the siblings spoke until Max asked

" How is the prince doing?" He knew that the prince was always sick .

"It is hard to explain what goes on with the prince. His health keeps getting worse day by day. We hope that he will be okay one day." Ana replied to her brother's question.

After dropping his sister Max left. Ana entered a local carriage leading to the way towards the palace which was located at the heart of the kingdom.

After two hours,,Ana dropped and decided to walk the remaining distance. On her way she saw a little girl who appeared to be lost and was crying. Walking towards her,, Ana asked why she was crying. When the girl did not reply Ana thought the girl was mute.

"Are you lost? Maybe I can help you trace your parents mmh?" Ana persuaded the girl who continued to cry

Parents?? Home?? How was she going to explain that she didn't know this place and that she saw her father and brother being beheaded mercilessly. And her mother what happened to her?? Remembering this made her to cry. Not having the heart to abandon the child,, Ana decided to take her along. The girl gladly accepted and together they started their journey to the palace.

" I am Ana and we will stay together until we find a way out." Ana explained to the girl.

The girl did not know that she was in a different timeline and that her sent her here for her own safety.
