don't chase people. Be an example. Attract them. Work hard and be yourself. The people who belong in your life will come and find you and stay. Just do your thing~

The following day Rasmus called Ana to inform her about what had transpired. They had thought taking Sophia away from the palace when she was young would make the prince forget their encounter but all backfired. Prince Aiden remembered Sophia being in the palace twelve years ago but Sophia could not remember.

Ana did not want any misunderstandings to arise but what could she do? Sophia had to work and not being sent away. Moreover the prince was already married and Sophia was just a simple maid who was mute.

Not wanting to bring up the matter again it was decided that Sophia would help in the kitchen and not do the cleaning.

With passing days prince Aiden wondered why the maid was not around. Maybe she is avoiding me thought the prince.

" Elsa I think we are wasting time. If the prince is hard to tackle why not attack his mother. This way we can start accomplishing our goal." Calvin tried to explain to Elsa. Ever since Elsa was married to the prince, it became difficult for her to meet with Calvin. She had to Lie to the prince so that she could meet him.

Calvin was getting irritated with each passing day. To see that the woman he loved was married to the prince annoyed him. He regarded himself as the best man in Generia Kingdom yet Aiden defeated him in everything. Aiden overshadowed him just because he is the prince with royal blood.

If Elsa failed to destroy the prince then he was going to take a move. He was tired of being in the shadows and it was time to start his plans when the royal family least expected it. His plans were already set and this time round he would make sure the prince suffers.

The bracelet won't protect him at any cost thought Calvin.

" Attacking queen Marsha is of no use to us. After all she is not that important," shrugging she said.

" Don't underestimate her, queen Marsha might not be an important figure in the kingdom but she is of great importance to her family. Both Aiden and his father adore her, keep that in mind." Explained Calvin.

" I think you should try your other plan. I hope you have that maid to play to your tune. I just hope everything will go as planned." Kissing him she left.

As planned that night, Calvin asked the maid who pretended to work for the royal family but was actually on their side to add the deadly poison so that the queen and king would die.

Nara the maid was ready to do what Calvin asked him to. As long as she got her payment she was ready to help them.

That night Nara asked Sophia to get some rest while she prepared the night tea for the king and queen. Sophia who was tired accepted and headed towards her room to sleep.

Adding the poison in the tea, Nara stirred the pot as if everything was okay. Once she was done she gave Rasmus to take the tea to the king and his wife. Nara then decided to take her rest by going to her room to sleep.

Rasmus who carried the tray with all his attention on it failed to see Sophia who was in a hurry and they bumped into each other. The tea spilled making Rasmus grunt. He needed to get his sleep but it seemed like fate had other plans.

" Oh my goodness now I have to go and prepare another tea when I am not feeling well." Rasmus said.

Sophia bent over to pick and clean. She then decided to prepare tea and take it to the king and his wife. Rasmus was relieved that he left to go and sleep.

Sophia finished preparing tea and took it to the king's room. Once she had finished she decided to head towards the servants quarter when a hand grabbed her pulling her towards the furthest end before entering one room and closing the door. Sophia was panicking not knowing who and why someone had dragged her. Once the door was closed with a shutting sound she saw who it was. Prince Aiden but what did he want?

" So you have been hiding from me. This is my home and you thought it was right to hide?" Standing close to her he towered over her. Sophia was not hiding but something was definitely wrong with the prince. Was he always like this?

" I know you are not mute so you better start talking or else you won't like it," looking at her he waited for Sophia to speak but she did not even try. Seeing her not trying to do what he asked he raised her chin with his hand so that she could look at him.

Prince Aiden took her hand and began removing the bracelet to which Sophia stopped his action. This was the only jewelry she possessed and here the prince was taking it.

" I will take this bracelet with me, if you are ready to talk you can come for it." He lowered his head and placed a kiss on her lips which startled her. While she was surprised he took her bracelet and left.

Left alone in the room Sophia tried to calm her beating heart. She has never stood near any man talk more of getting a kiss. When she realised what he had done,, she discovered that he used the kiss to distract her and take the bracelet.

Not having her bracelet she wondered how she was going to earn it back. She has been in the possession of it for as long as she could remember. It seemed like the prince wanted her to talk by force but how did he know that she could speak. Not wasting any more time she left the room.

Prince Aiden did not know that what he started as a game to torture the girl would only continue and become something else.
