Chapter 63: The Human Disaster and The Mask of Death

"Wait just a minute Mr. President! We agreed because you said you had a plan to take care of Gyoki. This isn't what we had in mind. You can't be serious about adding that monster to our roster." Mikanos said.

"I can add him to the roster, and I have already added him to the roster." Drump said.

"Actually I'm the one who makes the decisions on the roster." Toro said, though he was conveniently ignored by President Drump. "Anyway if this guy is as big a monster as you say he is then I wouldn't mind having him on the team."

"You say that because you don't know how terrifying he really is." Mikanos said. "If we release him, he will undoubtedly kill all of us. That's including all of you as well."

"You can't be serious. You must not know who you're talking to." Erik retorted.

"Erik is right, we've been fighting the strongest warriors in the universe for years. You're the ones who don't understand." Hezikiah added.

"I've personally had enough of this back and forth. I'd rather just see the man in question for myself." Toro said definitively.

The Three Heroes reluctantly led them to the island where Gyoki was being held. It was a tropical island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Gyoki was born in what would be considered Japan or at least an island that would have been considered part of Japan if he hadn't destroyed it. Along with many other islands in the Pacific. Of course, these actions were hidden by the governments of the world. It was presented as if these islands had never existed in the first place. All in an effort to keep Gyoki's terrifying presence a secret from the public.

"I wasn't even aware that there was an island here." Toro said as they trekked through the jungle.

"Officially there isn't. This island was actually created by my special ability." Lars explained.

"I see, that's impressive. You must be quite powerful yourself if your ability can keep such a monster contained." Toro said.

"Well, I can't take all the credit. After all it is group effort by the three of us, and it's really more like it takes everything we have just to contain him." Lars said modestly.

"Either way I'm interested in seeing this power for myself." Toro said. The group hiked through the forest for some time until they came to a clearing. Suddenly a massive bearded man appeared.

Gyoki

Age: 50

Ht: 7'9

Wt: 400lbs

Special Ability: Disaster

"Ho ho, who's coming to pay me a visit? Clearly someone who had little regard for their own life." Gyoki mused as he climbed down from the trees to size up his new visitors.

"Gyoki, we have-" Mikanos started to explain what they were there to do, but Toro stopped him.

"It doesn't matter who we are, or what we're here for. Let's keep things simple, let's fight. If I beat you then you have to listen to my request." Toro said.

"You've got a lot of nerve talking to me like that in my own domain. I'll rip your bones to pieces and feed your flesh to the birds." Gyoki responded.

The two engaged in an epic dual, and at the end it Toro was bloodied and bruised. But he was dragging Gyoki's broken and beaten body behind him.

"He's not half bad after all." Toro remarked. "So, Mr. President, who is the next guy you have in mind? I'll admit I've been impressed with the warriors you've presented so far."

President Drump then took them to a mining outpost and lead them deep underground.

"This guy, we discovered while we were drill baby drilling." The President said as they were exploring the caves. "He's right up there, and I believe that he should be familiar to you guys."

As the reached the end of the cave Hezikiah was shocked to see, a former foe that he had crossed fists with before. It was a man he had assumed that he had killed.

It was the infamous, Black Mask.
