Coming back, Inazuma witnessed All For One injecting a syringe into his neck.
'Predictable, but better. Now I can kick his ass even harder, and if he dies, I can blame it on the serum—say if I hadn't killed him, he would have exploded and destroyed the whole city. Luckily, there are a few quirk steroids that do that in this world.'
"Man, you sealed your fate with that drug from Chisaki, you bastard," Inazuma said softly with a snicker so that the mics in the helicopter and the surroundings wouldn't hear him. But with his enhanced senses, All For One caught every word.
'What the hell!! How does he know about the serum? Only Garaki and Chisaki know about it other than me, since Chisaki killed most of his subordinates in his madness.' All For One began to have a feeling that taking the reverse drug was a bad move.
But right now, he could feel the changes happening in his body. He could even feel the quirks that had been straining him slowly adjusting, making him even stronger than he was in his prime.
Garaki had only gotten a few damaged samples, which, in a way, had played out in All For One's favor for once. So instead of how, in the canon timeline, he kept getting reduced in age until he turned into a kid, the effects of the Eri-DNA steroid stopped before he went past his prime—turning him into the best version he could be to fight Inazuma.
[Time Spikes]
All For One screamed as arrow-shaped energy beams shot out from him in all directions—he knew Inazuma would be able to dodge them easily if they were shot in just one.
Inazuma slowed down time, picked up a rock from the ground, and threw it toward one of the energy arrows. He watched as the rock slowly hit the beam while he moved in superspeed. He then noticed the rock had slowed down after hitting the beam.
'I remember one of Chisaki's minions having that ability before. Man, did he kill that guy and send his parts to All For One? I didn't even see him on the boat…'
Feeling a bit disgusted, Inazuma decided to finish it quickly. With his increased power, he phased through the ground and started moving toward All For One. Right now, he could move almost like Lemillion—with the added bonus of being able to sense suroundings by spreading Speed Force energy around him like a radar. He didn't need to rely on Lemillion's ability of being pushed out of phased objects with added motion while exiting a surface.
Though it came with the glaring weakness of dying if he ever stopped using his quirk while phasing.
Still, for now, he decided to go with his plan. He had been accumulating the electricity generated by lightning within himself. His Speed Force armor now allowed him to store energy without harming himself with it.
He directly went under All For One's location and released the large amount of energy he had been storing straight at him. But just as he did—
'Oh shit.'
BOOOOOOM!!!!!
An explosion erupted that could be felt from across the city.
"What the hell is happening over there?" Torino ranted as he made sure the civilians weren't affected.
Meanwhile, Midoriya and the others—who were standing near the medics treating the burns on Bakugo's body—were also shocked. Since they were in a public place, they could see what had happened through the public screens.
"I knew he was fast and strong… but was he able to do that much destruction?" Kirishima asked wide-eyed as he saw the explosion engulf All For One completely. There was no chance he survived that strike.
"That seemed a bit brutal, although I can say it was necessary—even if I feel it wasn't right," Iida said as he watched All For One die.
"So strong…" Midoriya was once again confronted with the reality of how outclassed he was compared to Inazuma, even with All Might's quirk.
He had seen All Might use punches that surpassed the hundred-percent strikes he had thrown before. Even then, All For One had survived those blows, healed his wounds, and, in a way, won the confrontation with All Might this time. Even considering All Might was weakened, Deku—as the current user of One For All—could tell the power level used in the fight. Through One For All, he had gained the accumulated strength of all eight users before him. Along with that, the power he was building up in his body was also being added—making him destined to become stronger than All Might at the peak of his career.
But right now, he had seen All Might punch with enough power to surpass even his past level—and still fail. And seeing someone surpass that with a single strike left a bitter taste in his mouth, even if he felt relief that a villain who could endanger so many had been taken down.
'No, I can't think like this. Even if Inazuma took down All For One—who, according to All Might, was supposed to be my last nemesis—there are still a lot of people in the world who need help. And I will make sure to grow strong enough to save them.' Midoriya once again reawakened his heroic spirit and recommitted to his original dream of becoming a hero.
Though the same couldn't be said for the vestiges, who stood wide-eyed, watching their greatest adversary—whom they had created backup plans upon backup plans for—die in a single strike.
"What the hell?" Blackwhip muttered what everyone else was thinking.
At the time, with Inazuma:
'Okay… for future reference: electrically charged attacks must be made while on the surface, not underground. Because if you're underground, the moment the energy loses contact with your body, it acts like the explosive of a grenade—and the ground acts like the grenade casing.' Inazuma thought, watching the scattered pieces of All For One burn as he used his lightning to make sure not even a single cell of his flesh remained.
A/N- hope you like it, sorry I was late, I was sick for some time, I will try to bring back my usual rate of writing.
