Chapter 14 The battle is on

     LAILA POV

I was so proud of him,he takes good care of me though he might not admit, but he's already acting as a caring husband. Sapphire laughed

"Everyone is watching you." She sang out to me, though she never wanted to leave his arms.

"Blake, Nina, I promise to come back for you guys and dad. But at this moment," I turned to Nicky and the bodyguards with a straight face

"Let's go." I said and headed for the exeact, I didn't want to see my mother or my so called father. I felt someone tug at my dress

"No please, please Laila, don't leave me like this, I'm breaking inside. Please look at me and tell me you love me, please babica." She pleaded using the name I love so much.

"Let go of my dress mother.... Just let me go right now." I said my voice shaking as I felt someone separate her  hands from my gown.

"Let her go, she'd come for you later." He said in a deep bass tone.I smiled that he treats me like a queen this days. I walked over to the motorhome, I entered my room and took off my clothes... Then took my bathe, and wore a bump short and a tight top. Drying my hair with the towel as I at looked myself in the mirror, I saw his face... The male version of me... Just that I was more pretty than he was.

He even had a son and family. I started brushing my hair, letting out a sigh to hold the pain I felt in my chest as I remembered how father do treat me bad sometimes, I was not his biological daughter and it hurts to say my father just showed up when I'm all grown up. Why didn't he come for me when I needed him the most? Why didn't mum tell him that he had a daughter that needed to be loved and cherished? The tears I was trying to hold all started flowing like a river

"Calm down Laila, you can do this...." I tried comforting myself but I just couldn't bear it, the pain was much. I muffled small sobs. I wanted to cry out loud but I can't, I didn't want Alpha Chris to say I'm too weak for him, he needs someone that is strong and brave. I tried to calm myself yet the tears kept coming at their free will.

Then my door was kicked open as he walked in and gazed at me

"Still crying?" He asked in a calm tone

"....I want to be alone..." I said in almost a whisper as I couldn't find my firm, brave voice.

"Come here..." He said as he patted a spot on the bed

"No, leave me alone." I snapped at him and he smiled

"Tough huh?" He said as he scooped me from the floor like I weighed nothing and I kicked the air and hit his hard chest while he chuckled, his bass vibrated through my body and I stared at him. I loved everything about him... I just prayed that I won't fall in love with him. He dropped me on the bed and cuddled me, caressing my hair like I'm his little daughter.

"Do you approve of me as your Luna?"

I asked as I just wanted to hear it from him, I wanted to hear a yes from him.

"No." His word sounded like a slap to me as I felt bittered but still remained in his hands as he caressed my hair

"Prove your worth to me." He said those words out of blue. Then his face became serious as he stopped caressing my hair, and tried to focus, I guess someone's mind linking him.

"Stay here, I'd be back." He commanded me, and rushed out.

"Where.." I asked

"Just Stay Here." His wolf growled at me as I swallowed as I watched him leave. I need to know what was happening. I can't seat on my ass doing nothing..

I saw one of the guards rushing out and I asked

"where to? What's happening?" I asked as he shook his head

"Alpha said not to spell out a word to you Luna." The guard said and I looked at him

"I'm trained you don't need to worry about me, just tell me." I looked at the guard who looks about 20 years of age.. He looks good though

"There was an attack at the pack's boarders... Please my queen, I said nothing if Alpha finds out, I will be killed." He sounded frightened

"Don't worry, what is your name?" I asked him with a smile

"Marcus ma lady." He said and I nodded at him

"Okay Marcus, I promise you that no harm will come to you, just take me there." I said to him and his eyes widened in fear

"No my Luna,Alpha will kill me." He pleaded with tears kneeling before me

"Okay okay, stand up, you can leave."

I said to him and he ran out immediately like something was chasing him. I went inside and wore my leather black outfit with my mask. I was going to prove my worth to him no matter what. I entered my bike and followed his scent since sapphire has a sharp scent sense.

I love fighting in the battlefield, I'm gonna show him who the real laila is... A lopsided smile formed on my lips, I really missed this side of mine.

Arriving at the battlefield field I heard a loud growl, I rushed to the boarders of the forest and I saw a bunch of wolves but one wolf captured my senses.. He was so huge and his gray and black stripped fur was soft. The wolf was very handsome and enchanting with his red eyes as he tore the rogues apart like they were a piece of cake. I knew he was mine at that instant as Sapphire growled

*Mine* He started sniffing the air and I remembered I didn't hide my scent. I quickly hid my scent and watched him as he resumed his fight, I felt awkward as they were all male wolves. I didn't want him to see me yet so I half transformed and started killing the wolves from the back of the boarders. I was so fast that they didn't see me coming. Not until they detected that they were diminishing in numbers and a wry smile played on my lips, I aimed for the Alpha of the rogues still in my half transformed form. Some group of rogues attacked me, though they scratched and bit me but I was quick in slitting their throat as their blood splashed on my face. Thank goodness that I was in my hood and Mask. I killed so many rogues. It was my first time shedding blood this way, as I was tearing a rogue apart, I saw the Alpha of the rogues run towards me and everyone turned their gaze towards me including clark who growled in anger. No matter what, its time to show him that I'm no weakling.... The Rogue Alpha headed towards me as Sapphire struggled for control but I brought out my long blue claws and the Alpha retreated, starring at my claws. I saw the shock in everyone's eyes and then took in my claws and instead used my sword. He aimed for my heart, but I retreated and was about to slash his throat when I saw a young cub running and growling at me, and due to the soft spot I had for children I speared the rogue Alpha. Then I felt a sharp pain in my chest as I noticed a rogue was about to pull out my heart. I fell to the floor as I heard clark growled, the Alpha of the rogues was about to slit my throat when clark pulled out his heart and threw the young cub to the tree... He killed the rogue that wanted to pull my heart and I heard him whimpered licking my wounds as I blacked Out immediately.....
