(She won't come back)

   Amos POV

I was pacing back and forth in my chambers, I haven't gotten myself since Laila left. I felt like a piece of me was ripped off my body, sometimes i just imagined her pretty face and the fact that I don't have any Connection towards her anymore is driving me crazy, what is she doing now? Where she was or how she was faring... I and clark had been worried badly. Now Frankie mindlinked me two days ago that they've found her, I just hoped that she comes with them and I promise to change and make her love me... I don't really know where this feelings were coming from but I can't control it. I wore my  robe and arranged my hair in a ponytail.

"Alpha, they're here, they're back." One of my guards said.

"Call back the guards, tell them to return." I said to him and left for my throne room. When I entered they all bowed and I searched for her

"Where is she?" I asked worried, I've never been worried or acted this way before in my 25 years of life, But all the same I accepted the fact that I'm so into her.

"Alpha, she refused to come, she said she loves her life now and I saw it with my eyes, she's comfortable now." Angel said and I gritted my teeth in anger as Frank intertwined his fingers with hers, I saw her tears as she lifted her head. I saw the pain in them

"You hurt her, you hurt my childhood best friend, now she won't get married, you wanted to strangle her!" She yelled as Frank pulled her to his chest, I felt bad, it's true, I hurt her.

"She didn't even treated me as a best friend, she treated me as an enemy, she treated me like I'm opposing her. I will never see you again Alpha, else you bring back my best friend." Angel said, bowed and left angrily.

"Where do she live?" I asked Frank

"Not too far from here Alpha. San Francisco." He said and I nodded

"Does she really hate me?" I asked calmly and Nicky nodded.

"I need details of her everyday life henceforth." I demanded and he nods

"She's working at HELMS DESIGNS, and she seems like she's living well, she's happy, she's got some friends now." Nicky said as a smile formed on my face, she's started a new, and it's all my fault, why should I even blame her? I stood up and headed for the meeting that's to be held by the elders of the 15 high packs in America. I entered and they all bowed

"Greetings Elders, and what do I offer your visit?" I sat on my throne as a guard brought in my apples and grapes, they were not smiling and I looked mean too. I don't really mind

"Alpha christamos, what's holding you from getting a Luna to the 15 high packs? An Alpha without a Luna is irresponsible." Elder kayde asked

"Yeah and I heard that the Alpha found his Luna but chased her away, how do you intend to justify yourself Alpha?" Elder Tony added and I watch the Elders ask different questions.

"Enough of your rantings old men, I will bring home my Luna and I will marry her in 3 months time." I decreed, one of them scoffed

"When she doesn't even wants to see you." Elder denz, the leading elder

"Then you will have to witness the mystery that is to come." I stated and left, I head for my Limousine car outside the meeting hall.

"Where to now Alpha?" Franklin asked and I looked out the window

"To the hotel." I said and he nodded

We arrived at Moonlight suites, it was one of moonlight investments. I invested it when I was just 13, yet it remains the top suite at Los Angeles.

"What are you planning to do there Alpha?" Frank asked

"You ask too many questions." I said to him and he muted

   We arrived at Moonlight suites, I invented it at 13, one of my investments, everyone bowed as I entered while some women tried to woo me, I threw them a warning glare, I don't need them, it's only one woman that is registered in my mind and that is 'Laila Hales'. This particular woman is making me lose my sanity

"Arrange my room, everything should be in order tomorrow." I said to Geneva, one of the pack's best room attendant, she smiled

"I'll make it special Alpha, leave it to me," she winked as I left, I headed for my car packed outside and some of them took pictures.

"To the Airport." I said to my driver as i texted Boyles one of my best hacker and computer wizard.

"Alpha, what is your plan?" Frankie asked as i watched his expression change from curious to confused. and I ignored him "Am I to come with you Alpha?" I sighed and he knew the answer, sure, he's supposed to come.

"Can I retire Alpha, I really want to go to her now." He said in a pleading tone

"To your mate?" I asked and he nodded. I frowned, I like this guy, he sure knows how to lighten my mood, he had a good vibe, and he amuses me in a way that Nick can't. Too bad he's got a family now, I waved my finger at him to leave.

"Thanks Alpha."he obliged and pecked my palm and I gave a lopsided smile, my gaze still on the window. Just how crazy is this guy?

"Send for Nick immediately." I ordered and he bowed and turned to leave

"To the airport." I commanded the guard and I just sighed *how can I get you back Laila?*

Laila's POV

The day's been going great

"We are going to the beach next tomorrow girls." Maria announced and I could feel sapphire doing a happy dance in my head

"Ugh.. Why not tomorrow?" Cherie groaned with desperation, I guess she loves the beach too

"Cos I've got lots of contracts tomorrow girlie." Maria said with sarcasm as Sapphire chuckled, I could tell she really loved this girls already.

"I'm not girlie, I'm a woman." Cherie retorted and I chuckled

"Oh, can you see how beautiful and sexy Laila is? Her hips are getting broader by day." Maria commented and I smiled at her

"Well then, I will start jogging and gym then." Cherie argued

"Can we argue about this later, I'm so hungry now." I said patting my stomach earning a groan from Sapphire and I smiled

"Yeah, we'll grab some snacks on our way to the cinema." Maria said and I yahed, oh wait, that was from Sapphire "Sapphire please stop." I commanded and she wagged her tail.

"No offense," I said and Maria sighed

"Laila, you could have told us how much you wanted to see a movie, we are friends now, tell us whatever bothers you." Maria stated and I nodded, they truly cared

   Soon, we booked a ticket as cherie drove us to the cinema with her camry car. We bought some carton of popcorns, and I asked

"What movie is up?"

"Teen wolf season 5." Maria said and Sapphire made a happy dance

"What? Oh God i hate horror movies." Cherie whispered

"Oh dear, that's my fave.." I said proudly and she scoffed.

"I love horror too." Maria added

"One of you should have a spear bed tonight." Cherie grumbled and I giggled. The movie started, it was so intense that Sapphire concerntrated, i cold feel Maria flinch at the horror part and i couldn't help but chuckle,she was acting brave some moment ago, but she was also scared of the horror parts. Soon the movie was over

"Phew, that was close." Maria said while cherie look frightened to death.

"I like it." I said as we headed home....
