Chapter 28 In Love?

(In Love?)

Amos POV

I was hurt, for the second time in history... She's awakening that soft side of me and I'm letting her, I don't really know what to do or think anymore,I was confused. I scoffed confused? I'm a type that do get things how and when I want them, but here I am confused over a woman.

"You need to take things easy Alpha, you have to win back her heart." Nicole said to me

"How am I to do that?" That was my big problem now, how to win her back, I promised myself not to give my heart fully to her.

"You have to think carefully Alpha."

"Well, I hate to think,just let me be." I scolded him and then sipped from my glass of wine.

"I think I need a woman, it's been long since I had one." I said to Nick

"But Alpha..." He started

"No buts, I'm heading to the hotel, send me a woman." I said and he nodded. The driver made a u-turn and soon we arrived at the hotel. I entered the elevator and it took me to the 15th floor. I walked over to my room and punctured my password and my door parted open. A young lady was cleaning my room and I checked her out. She was curvy and bulky as I wanted, putting on a short gown.

"Strip now." I commanded and she gave a winning smirk. Though she's nothing like my Laila, but what can I do? I'm in Rut, and I just prayed Laila don't get affected that much. I don't want her doing it with another man.

The next day, I went back to my Castle. My mood remained same and my expression stiff.

"Summon me Angel, Franklin's mate." I commanded one of my guards

"Yes Alpha." He said and left

Soon, Franklin entered and bowed.

"There was an attack at the boarders of the pack, I'm training the soldiers and some youths from 18 and above." He said and I nodded

Then the door parted and Angel walked in with Selena

"Good day Alpha, you asked for me?" Her small voice called

"Yeah," I said, I could see her belly bump growing and I'm a bit glad that there'll be a new member to the pack soon. "How's the little one doing?" I asked and I could feel Franklin smile

"Fine." She replied.

"Leave us everyone." I ordered and they all left. "Have a seat." I gestured to an empty seat which she occupied

"Laila, she refused to come, believe me when I say I'm really fond of her now, I can't get her off my head. It's like she dominated half my body. Now, I want her back, is there any way you could help me get her back?" I explained and she swallowed

"You know Alpha, she's been my best friend since we were toddlers, and from what I know about Laila.... I can't really tell much about her emotions, she's hard to please, hard to read and hard to understand. I bet she's a bit secretive." I could hear her heartbeat, she's telling the truth.

"Why am I addicted to her then, I thought she broke the bond, she wanted to reject me as her mate. I explained the reason I said those things but she still hated me, I'm just bittered." I explained and she giggled

"Why smiling, this is no joke here." I stated and she nodded

"I know, it's no joke, but something has been revealed here, something about you." She said boldly and I furrowed my brow at her

"You know nothing about me, I just need your help doesn't mean that you will say whatever." I hollered at her

"Well Alpha, something you're trying to avoid had been exhibited..."

"Which is?" I grumbled, angrily glaring at her.

"You love her, you're in love with her but you are trying to counter it. You want to hate her but she's made for you, she's your perfect half Alpha." She dropped the bomb and I shook my head, how can that be? It can't be, I can't fall in love with Laila right? I'm the Alpha here, why should I fall in love with her? I don't want to be like the past Alpha right? I'm ruthless, loveless and merciless.

"You have to take the lead Alpha, pursue her, what she needs now is Love, attention and care." Angel said and I angrily stomped my feet.

"Leave now!" I growled at her and she bowed and left

"In Love?" That can't be, I Christamos Greyold can never fall in love with any woman.

        ANGEL'S POV

I was glad on this new discovery, I left the throne room and outside the throne room was Frank, Nicole and Selena, they looked at me expectantly.

"Oh come on, don't tell me you guys also gossip the Alpha's private matters?" I scolded

"Ugh.. It's just to know what way we could help." Selena grunted as Frank hugged me from behind, leaving a brief kiss on my mark.

"Come on love, we just want our Luna back, it's no big deal okay?" He said and I sighed

"Kenny's not back from school yet?" I asked Selena as Frank released me from his grasp

"Not yet. You owe us a story Angel." Selena said and I giggled. She followed Nick to the western part of the palace.

"I need to tell you something, it's important...." I said to Frank who frowned then nodded.

"Let's go home then," he suggested and I nodded, we intertwined our fingers and walked home. We arrived at our building and the gate parted.

"Caro, make us some soup." Frank Stated. Caroline is my new maid, since I was pregnant, Frank decided to get us a maid, she's just a teenager, 17.

"What is it?" He asked turning me a glass of juice.

"Hmm..I want apple juice, not orange." I said and he nodded. He went to the kitchen and came out with a glass of apple juice. I took the glass from him, as he guided me to the bedroom.

"So... What will you like to share with me?" He asked and I grinned.

"It's two news and I hope they go down well with you." I said and he furrowed his brow and lay beside me, he snuggled me closer to him and licked my mark.

"Go on." He urged me

"First of all, the Alpha is in love with Laila, but he kept doubting it and refused to believe anything about Love." I explained and frank sighed

"There's a reason behind that love." He said to me

"What freaking reason? Is it a crime to fall in love?" I asked him, it's absurd that there's a reason for someone not to fall in love.

"Calm down, his father was so deeply in love with his mother, that he did everything in his power to make her happy, whatever it takes him, he was willing to provide. But the Luna betrayed him for another man, her teenage crush. The Luna was a witch, so she fell in love with a witch, but her mate was a werewolf and he loved her, yet she betrayed him." He stated and I gawked at him

"Witches exist too?" I asked and he nodded and pecked my fingers

"You see, Alpha don't want to be like his father." He said

"But laila is not bad, I've been with her since childhood, she deserves to be loved, all her life she was never loved, all the people she's ever loved never retaliated, they hurt her, and growing up to know that her father was not her biological father," I sighed worriedly "she's been through a lot, I feel sorry for her. If the Alpha will not pursue her, or strive harder to get her, then I will go to her, I will be by her side she needs me, my friend needs me now...."
