Chapter 30 Marry me

(Marry me)

"I will listen but just let me go." I said as he let go of my body but held my wrist. He brought me back to the beach, Maria and Cherie weren't there, where are they?

"Laila," I heard Angel called, I saw her waving to me, and her bump was getting bigger

"Angel," I hugged her tightly like it was her last day in the world but I was mindful of the bump.

"I thought you were angry at me, I thought you hated me." She sobbed and I hugged her again

"I can never hate you Angel, I love you since childhood, I can't bring myself to spite you Angel..." I said as she hugged me

"I miss you Laila." She said as a lone tear fell down my cheeks

"I can't take it anymore, please Angel, don't make me feel bad." I turned to see Chris kneeling on one foot with a diamond ring in a box

"C..Chris, wh...what is this?" I stammered, I was flabbergasted confused, nervous and excited

"Laila Hales, I know I had been cruel to you, I know I had treated you badly, I know I pushed you away... But all I'm asking from you is a second chance, a second chance to prove myself to you. I want you to be my wife, I discovered that I Loved you but I wanted to mask it with hatred, I'm not myself anymore since you left Laila, I love you and I will care for you.... Be the mother of my children and people, let's rule and build a family together, you're the missing part of me and I can't do anything without you by my side. Will you marry me Laila?" He stated

I was so dumbfounded, there were emotions in his voice, this was what I wanted but it was too perfect than what I expected, sapphire purred with delight as a tear slid down my cheeks, I looked up to see Maria and Cherie giving me a thumbs up,everyone was watching and taking pictures, I smiled

"Yes, yes I will marry you Chris, yes." I said as they all cheered and he slipped the ring on my finger

"It's beautiful.... Thank you." My voice quivered with tears, I was so happy, I hugged him tight. Angel hugged me too and I smiled showing her the ring

"Well... Our girl is gonna be a wifey now." Maria said and I smiled

"I can't leave you guys Maria, I really can't." I pressed my lips together as tears fell down my cheeks, I love them

"Aww.... There you go crying again, don't be a cry baby, we're not gonna be separated forever, you can come visit us if you want..." Maria said

"All we want is for you to be happy okay?" Cherie stated as I hugged them both, I turned to Chris

"Charlotte, I need to see her."I said

"Here i am baby." She replied and I smiled happily

"Charlie, I'm leaving." I said as she nodded with a cute smile

"It's okay, you're a Luna after all, go to your pack, they need you." She whispered to me and I nodded, I turned towards their direction

"Can I come back tomorrow?" I asked and kenny shook her head

"No, today." She said stubbornly and I giggled and stooped to her Level

"I promise sweetie, tomorrow, you can come pick me up if you want," her face dropped sadly

"I already had your things ready, we can go now, if you want." Chris said as his fingers rubbed my waist, a shudder ran through my body.

"I promise tomorrow, I'll really like to spend a little time with my friends." I said gently bringing down his hands from my waist.

"Please.." He pleaded to everyone's astonishment and I smiled at them, I know he hardly apologize, but I will make sure I erase those hatred and pride from him.

Amos POV

I was glad that I got her back after so many sleepless nights, I finally did it, I finally proposed to her. I wouldn't have believed that I would propose to a woman, but here I am, she's so beautiful now and I can't risk losing her. I didn't know where I got the courage from, but I was sure of one thing now, she's mine and that gave me a warm feeling.

   We arrived at the airport, we took my private jet, I can't help but steal her a glance. She was really enchanting, but I'm no longer afraid of getting tangled with her.

"Thank you." She whispered

"No, I should thank you, for forgiving me and deciding to spend your life with me. I owe you a lot Laila." I said sincerely and a blush crept to her cheeks, I was glad I got that reaction from her and I'm sure I must keep the promises I made to her. Soon, she fell asleep on my shoulders and I smiled

"We'll do this often, I promise." I said to her sleeping figure

Gosh, she was super gorgeous, the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, but my question still remains how she was able to turn her hair golden and this long. Yet, she looked just like an angel. I smiled sheepishly at myself, I was turning into something else, yes, I was turning into something else but if it should make Laila happy, I'm glad to do it. Anything for her. I know she'll be a brave Queen and a fearless fighter, but I won't let her fight my battles anymore, I don't want to lose her, if I lose her, a part of me will be maimed for life and I wouldn't want that.

"I'm really glad you came back to me Laila, honestly, I was afraid, afraid that I had lost you and that I won't be able to get you back, I felt like I chased you away from me, but now, I promise you the best things of life, whatever you want in life, I will ensure I give it to you and when we have a pup, I will love and cherish you both." I pecked her darkish pink lips and for a moment, I knew something changed inside of her.

    We arrived at the Airport, I was asleep when I felt a soft finger brushed my lips

"Wake up Chris, we're here." I heard the most beautiful feminine voice I have ever heard. I opened my eyes to the most beautiful pastle blue eyes I have ever seen and there was love in them. Though I hate being addressed as Chris, but hearing it from her made Clark so happy. I stood up and followed the others to the Lamborghini car. She smiled at me and pecked my lips, it was dark.

"We should use the motel for the night." Nicole suggested and I nodded as I pulled her closer to me.

"We should rest here for today." I said and she smiled

"Yeah... But... Aren't you feeling cold on that sleeveless? its chilly." She asked and I love her new voice

"He's an Alpha, he's not to feel cold." Frank stated

"Oh," she whispered and I brushed my lips on hers, I felt the flood of emotions in me as clark fought for control, I felt her struggling too

"We should get a room." I suggested

"We're taking separate rooms." She said and my expression became sad

"Why?" I asked staring deep into her eyes, and just then kenny hugged her

"Luna, stay with me tonight." Kenny requested, I was about to speak

"Okay Kenny, I'll stay with you." She said to Kenny and winked at me

"It's not yet over," I said to her and she chuckled, sure, she likes tormenting me right? Turning me on and then turning me down. I grunted as Frank patted my shoulder

"I'm glad she's back, I just missed her presence." He said and I glared at him as he raised his hands up in surrender...
