Chapter 53 Surrender her

(Surrender her)

Laila's POV

I ran to the Alpha's Palace, i looked like a woman whose world had been crushed to a thousand pieces, i rushed to the palace to see so many werewolves, my eyes Landed on Christamos, who was on his own pool of blood, my world was crumbling.

"Chris...." My voice rang out shaking the whole earth like it was an earthquake, i half transformed

*Run away Love, this is a trap, they're here for you, don't let them get you* He mind linked, he was in heavy Pain and I frowned

*No, I'm here to get you as well.* I stubbornly argued as some wolves ran to my direction and a siren cry rang out bursting through their ears exploding their brains. I howled and thankfully I transformed into my full wolf form, with Sapphire's tummy still protruded, I was more powerful than I thought I would be

"Sapphire, what's wrong? I think I'm supposed to be less powerful in my condition, I stated and she smirked

"Me too, but it's a good thing we're not, let's teach this guys some lesson for messing with our mate." She said and majestically walked towards them with her intimidating aura, she's ready to spill blood and get into a fight to stop them from messing with ours.

"There's another, you should get that one too." I heard Nevetan, Chris uncle said and I growled angrily, how dare he be so inhumane?

"You're looking for me? Here I am." I said and they lunged at me. I tried moving my legs and hands but I couldn't, I was stuck to the ground and I whimpered in frustration

*Leave Lai..la...* He struggled in pain and watching him is tearing at my heart... Tears filled my eyes and then his uncle brought out a sharp sword with a devilish laughter

"Now I'm the most powerful Alpha of all." He knelt beside Christamos with the sword and I yelled

"No...!" I cried.

"You were just as weak as your father, unable to fight back at the point of death and takes an enemy for a brother." He laughed and I saw Tim, one of Chris trusted guards siding with his evil Uncle.

"You, how dare you!" I growled and I screamed as Nevetan aimed the sword at Chris chest. Just then, a black werewolf bit Nevetan's hand off causing him to scream in pain. It was so horrible to look at but I smirked, and then a brown beautiful feminine wolf growled and they aimed for her, she was a skillful and trained fighter but they bit her leg and were about to shred her to pieces when different wolves from different dimensions lunged at them, I smiled thankfully and the brown wolf transformed into her human form, I gasped in tears

"Charlie..." I called and she smiled in pain, a huge grey wolf with bright red eyes growled and tore Nevetan's men to shreds. He ran towards Charlie and whimpered as he licked up her wounds to help her heal. She smiled with tears "Brian!" She exclaimed and I pushed myself towards Tim, Sapphire tore him to pieces and separated his head from his body.

"That's for betraying my mate." She growled and suddenly all our helpers started falling to the ground As Brian, Charlie's mate growled and I turned towards Nevetan to see him with a breathing heart in his claws

*He took down the Alpha of the Giant moon pack* Selena mind linked me and immediately someone grabbed me from behind.

"You're no safe here sis." I heard Fred's voice. He took me inside a room I've never been to before and locked the door. I struggled to open the door but I failed, Sapphire was so weak to come out and if I should force it out on her, my baby's life is at stake.

I heard a loud growl and I was glad it wasn't Chris, because that's definitely a growl of death

*The devil is dead, but Alpha is seriously wounded.* Selena mind linked me and my heart dropped

*Chris, Chris* I mind linked but the connection was low

*please live, please for my sake.* I pleaded as my eyes were filled with tears and pain... Everyone cheered happily and I tried breaking the door, but it won't even crack. I pleaded with them to let me out when the door opened and Mr Hughes entered with a tray of food and some drugs

"Dad," I sobbed as I hugged him, he was stunned as he hugged me back and caressed my hair in a soothing manner. Surprised at my choice of word 'Dad'.

"It's okay sweetheart, it's okay," he assured me and I shook my head

"Where's my husband? Where's he?" I yelled and he nodded

"He's at the pack's hospital now, he is receiving treatments, you don't really have to worry, he'll be fine." Dad said and I shook my head

"I want to see him. Please..." I pleaded and he sighed and hesitantly nodded.

"Tomorrow then." He stated and left. I ate the food hungrily as I've really stressed the baby in my womb

"I'm sorry baby, I promise to help your father get better okay?" I said and rubbed my belly.

   The next day, I prepared early, wearing a thick robe, I was taken to the pack's hospital, I pushed the door open in anxiety and lo and behold, he was there, speaking with his guards. I felt like I won a trophy, I felt like I was the happiest woman on earth, uncontrollable tears poured down my cheeks and I hugged him tight

"Chris," I called and he smiled at me, he kissed me passionately in the presence of everyone and I hugged him tightly

"You scared me..." I said and he cupped my cheeks, signaling them to leave, he pecked the back of my palm

"You were the one that scared me most laila, you brought me back Laila, you pleaded with my spirit to come back and I came back." He stated and tears pored down my cheeks in joy, I was in his heart. I ran my fingers up and down his exposed muscled chest.

There was a knock on the door

"Alpha, we found the pup." A guard said and I frowned

"Pup?"I asked confused

"Yeah, the pup that amputed Nevetan's right hand." He stated and the door was pushed open as Gray and Clinton entered. I gasped, was it really Gray? That wolf was matured

"Gray?" I called and he winked at me with a charming smile

"It isn't funny, you could have gotten killed or worst..." I said as I hugged him tightly to myself

"I'm okay Luna, don't hassle yourself." He tapped my shoulders and I smiled at him, I was amused

"You were the one?" Chris asked and he nodded. He brought out a file and handed to him, and also a cheque. Gray handed it over to Clinton who went over it and gasped

"Alpha, this is much..." He said as Chris smiled at him and waved at them while Gray smiled

"Thanks Alpha." He said and Chris smiled at him

"You deserve it." With that, they both left and I climbed up Chris bed

"Flake and Gen will be having their wedding, will you come with me?" I asked and he smiled at me with a nod

"Yeah, I'm coming with you. It's a good thing that playboy got a wife." Chris stated and I laughed. I fed him his Lunch as he's not making use of his left temporarily. We chatted and discussed about how afraid we were at the verge of loosing each other.

After some weeks, I attended Angel's wedding, before that of Flake and we are still making plans on that of Gen and Maria. Brian, Charlie's mate became the Alpha of the Giant moon pack and I was really glad that I didn't get to lose my husband, and I happily started my Luna duties, I worked from home and everything seems great though, our pack prospered and not to forget about my constant mood swings, I ate much, and the pains were a bit much, but I endured it all and I can't wait to see my Baby Alpha.....
