Chapter 126: Stark Manor

Mabry City. Mabry Street.

No. 10880.

Razor Villa stood on the Pacific coast, where a magnificent manor reigned in grandeur and luxury. As a private villa, almost everything within the sprawling 100-acre estate belonged to the Stark family.

Night approached, and a gorgeous, beautiful glow appeared in the sky.

To entertain his guests, Tony Stark spared no expense, inviting a famous chef from France to orchestrate the banquet's dishes. Even Tony himself was dressed to impress, donning a well-cut, expensive suit, a tie, and meticulously groomed hair and beard.

Swirling a goblet filled with sweet wine, Stark looked forward to the evening.

Soon, a sonic plane with a bald eagle painted on it landed directly at Stark Manor. Nick Fury and Captain America descended from the plane.

"Stark," Fury greeted, "you really know how to enjoy yourself."

Nick Fury looked envious. This banquet probably cost no less than a million dollars! Stark was indeed a world-famous billionaire rich and willful!

"Fury, this person… why does he look familiar?" Tony's eyes flickered.

"He is Steve Rogers, your father's best friend, the famous Captain America," Fury began. "A legendary figure from World War II. He slept for seventy years until workers in the polar regions discovered him."

Happy Hogan and Pepper Potts were speechless.

Steve Rogers…? He's still alive.

It's incredible!

His legendary experience had long been known to everyone. The legendary World War II veteran, praised by the U.S. federal government, had reappeared across the long river of time.

Even Tony Stark couldn't help but look surprised. When Howard Stark was still alive, he often mentioned Steve Rogers.

"Captain," Tony greeted, "hello. I'm Tony Stark, chairman of Stark Industries, billionaire, and philosopher. You can also call me… Iron Man."

Tony was the first to extend a greeting.

Times had changed. Technology was the primary productive force, and his iron armor represented the future.

"Tony," Steve Rogers said, "nice to meet you. I am really thankful to your father for making vibranium shield. Without this shield, I might not have been able to defeat the Nazis."

Steve laughed, but Tony Stark didn't respond and had no intention of shaking his hand.

"Don't be offended," Pepper hurriedly interjected. "My boss has a serious mysophobia."

Finally, Steve's misunderstanding was resolved.

"Mysophobia?" Steve taunted. "That's a strange statement. I thought you were arrogant and looked down on me."

Tony shrugged. He didn't care what Steve Rogers thought anyway. He was anticipating Orion's arrival.

"Tony," Fury interjected, "Are you sure you found a real magician? Instead of some circus clown?"

Fury, familiar with the process, pried open a bottle of expensive Lafite and drank it in one gulp.

"You drank three thousand dollars of my money in one gulp," Tony noted. "Fury, you know, there's no point in lying. I was at Woodlawn Cemetery and witnessed a miracle."

Tony's face lit up with excitement. Magic.

A concept that had always been a staple of fantasy stories, yet he had believed modern technology was another form of magic. However, the bizarre scene he had witnessed directly challenged his understanding.

"You said he is a magician, but I cannot allow a magician of unknown origin to participate in my Avengers plan. It's dangerous," Nick Fury said seriously, his single eye flashing with a sharp light.

Who could guarantee that Orion was not a spy from another organization? If he got out of control, the top brass would be furious, and even Fury's position could be in jeopardy.

"Don't think your Avengers plan is so advanced," Tony retorted. "I can totally go it alone."

Tony looked sarcastic. He thought Nick Fury was being stupid.

This mysterious Sorcerer had an organization and affiliation behind him. Why would he join the federal government's makeshift team?

If it weren't for the research data provided by SHIELD to help him solve the palladium problem, Tony wouldn't have paid any attention to Nick Fury!

"Go it alone?" Nick Fury's expression froze. He hadn't considered this issue.

"You guys are talking about magic?" Steve Rogers frowned. This was a blind spot in his knowledge.

"That's right," Tony confirmed. "He has promised me that he will come to Stark Manor in the evening. Happy can testify to that."

"Yes, but…" Happy looked depressed, "it seems like time has passed."

Just at that moment, a brilliant and fiery spark of magic swirled out. Under everyone's incredulous gaze, it suddenly transformed into a teleportation portal. A young man in a robe with vigorous steps walked through the portal and arrived directly at Stark Manor.

His eyes were bright and lively, his facial lines as sharp as if carved by a knife or an axe, and he exuded a mysterious aura. He had a black cloak on his shoulders.

"You?!" Nick Fury exclaimed. He had seen this figure in Times Square, New York!

"We said goodbye at Woodlawn Cemetery, but I never thought we would meet again," Tony Stark said solemnly, not showing any negligence at all.

"I told you so long ago. We'll see each other again," Orion smiled. He arrived at Stark Manor at just the right time.

The grilled meat prepared by the Michelin chef was just being served on the table. This steak was generous in portion, carefully prepared by the chef, and sprinkled with secret spices, making it truly appetizing.

He would never tell Tony that he had already hidden in the mirror dimension and was spying on everything through the screen.

"Orion," Tony asked curiously, "where did you learn magic? What's the name of the magic you just performed?"

With his intelligence and talent, if Tony could join Orion's sect, he would surely become a big hit. He had no doubt about that!

"Kamar-Taj," Orion replied. "I come from a place called Kamar-Taj. This is a secret holy place hidden from the world. And the ability I exert should be called mystical magic, to be precise."

"Stark, you invited me to your estate. Is that why?" Orion buried his head in his meal. How could they waste such delicious food?

"No, on the contrary," Tony said. "I am very curious about the mission of your mystic sorcerer. You… to defend against what danger?"

Stark narrowed his eyes. Since the mystic sorcerers had an organization, they must also have a mission and charter to fight for. Who was leading the mystic sorcerers, and when would they act? This was what Tony Stark cared about! After all, Kamar-Taj, as a hidden sect, had spent money and resources to cultivate countless mystic sorcerers.

There must be a purpose behind it! And he was eager to know the truth so that he could respond in advance. He didn't believe in Kamar-Taj; he only believed in his wisdom!

[The One Cursed by Knowledge] (Gold): An almost abnormal learning ability, god-level wisdom that transcends time, and the ability to master all knowledge in any field. God-level wisdom.

Do you understand?

"That's a good question, Tony," Orion said. "The reason I came to this appointment is to tell you… the Earth is at risk. Not even the leader of Kamar-Taj or the king of the gods of Asgard is enough to quell this incident."

Orion put down his knife and fork, looking serious. This instantly sounded the alarm in Tony Stark's heart.

"Earth… in imminent danger?" Tony asked.

"And the Asgard you mentioned? The King of the Gods? Are you referring to Odin?" Steve Rogers said in astonishment.

It was said that the Red Skull, the leader of the Hydra organization, found the "Tesseract" left by Odin in the Tønsberg Cathedral in Norway. So, Norse mythology was not made up? It was… real!

Nick Fury's eye shrank suddenly. The information he received was completely beyond his understanding, but he did not express his doubts. Anyway, this mystic wizard would answer it himself.
