Chapter 154: Exile Magneto

Old Man Magneto, once considered the first Omega-level mutant, was also a core member of the first generation of X-Men. Alongside Professor X and Hank the Beast,

he founded the X-School and can be regarded as the guide of the contemporary X-Men.

Originally, he was as old and gray-haired as Professor X. But suddenly, he became younger! Even his own mutant abilities were significantly enhanced!

Everyone's minds were racing. When they saw the ability-activating device, they immediately pieced together the situation.

"I'm afraid Raven…"

She immediately aimed the ability-stimulating device at Magneto, causing him to undergo a second mutation! Doesn't that mean Professor X could also be rejuvenated? And that the mutant abilities of the other X-Men could be significantly enhanced?

Certainly.

The plan's success depends on Magneto not taking away the ability-stimulating device! If the device fell into Magneto's hands, he could do anything!

Fortunately...

Dragon scale metal is not real metal and cannot be controlled by Magneto.

The X-Men were slightly relieved.

They quickly split into two groups. Phoenix used her ability to search for Little Rogue's location & Storm's eyes turned pure white, her body surrounded by lightning. She launched a terrifying thunderstorm directly at the Magneto.

Beast Hank covered Cyclops and Logan's retreat, occasionally fending off Mystique's sneak attacks.

"Raven…"

"You deceived me again."

Hank's eyes were filled with sorrow. Originally, he was not the Beast but had attempted to completely 'cure' himself through Mystique Raven's mutant genes.

As a result...He and Mystique became "close relatives."

Although he had gotten used to this over the years, he still felt hurt and lacked the courage to step out from behind the scenes.

"Hank."

"The ability-stimulating device should not be confined to the X-School. Mutants all over the world need it."

Mystique clutched the pistol tightly, her yellow eyes flickering slightly. She had lofty ideals, hoping for all mutants to have their lives get back on track.

'However, the X-Men tried every means to stop it. Despite her admiration for Charles, she still thought he was on the wrong track. After all, Charles was born into a wealthy family and had never experienced the world's sufferings. He had no idea how dark the human heart could be.

"Raven."

"Ignore them."

"Truth...It's in the hands of only a few."

Magneto's eyes were resolute. Nothing could shake his determination.

In an instant, he waved his fingers violently, releasing a super strong magnetic force. The metal particles rubbed and collided, forming an electromagnetic storm that instantly defeated Storm's attack!

Moreover, it swept forward with the momentum to crush everything in its path, suddenly heading toward Orion.

"Truth...It's in the hands of only a few."

"The words are rough, but the truth is true."

"But it is not just a few who must hold the truth."

"Eric, Are you sure you are right?"

Orion smiled, sarcasm lacing his words. He raised his hand, and a mirror shield appeared out of thin air, placed horizontally in front of him, easily blocking the electromagnetic storm.

This caught Magneto by surprise. This mystic sorcerer in front of me seems extraordinary! He… who is this person?

According to Raven, the medium and materials of the ability-stimulating device were all provided by this mystic sorcerer. What was his intention in creating the device?

"Stop talking nonsense."

"Hand over the ability-stimulating device, and you can leave alive."

"Otherwise..."

"This will be your burial place!"

Magneto shouted angrily. He had recovered to his prime and no longer feared anything. With his prestige and strength, he could challenge the government and military!

Even a nuclear bomb might not be able to approach him. Only Professor X could intimidate him. Even the Hellfire Club couldn't stop him!

"Shit!"

"What should I do now?"

All the X-Men trembled. They were at a loss. With Professor X still in a coma, hoping Magneto would calm down his anger seemed like a luxury.

They looked at Orion, hoping this mystical sorcerer could take the ability-stimulating device away. Even Magneto couldn't restrain the power of space teleportation.

"Take it easy."

"It's just a little problem."

"Magneto is not invincible. He doesn't have the ability to sweep the world."

Orion smirked. Magic power surged through his body as he supported the mirror dimension. Strange prism-like fragments enveloped the island, dragging everyone into another dimension.

Mirror Dimension!

Magneto and Mystique's faces changed as they surveyed their surroundings.

"Is this your ability?"

"Magic?"

"Or… another mutant ability?"

Magneto's eyes were dark. Orion, who possessed the abilities of the Black King, could delay aging and maintain youth. In the long run, this would endanger his plans! He needed to eliminate this danger swiftly. Not even God could stop him!

"Just a bit of mystical magic."

"Let me introduce myself properly."

"You can call me Orion."

"I am the founder of the Illuminati and the acting Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj."

Orion waved his hands. A massive wave of magical power swept through the entire mirror dimension.

Everything within seemed to come alive, collapsing and flipping under his precise control. The sky became the earth. The Milky Way flowed upstream!

He could rearrange the mirrored space according to his aesthetics. This incredible ability frightened Magneto, who had never encountered a mystical sorcerer before!

Kamar-Taj? I've heard Charles mention it. But… what is the Illuminati?

"No matter who you are or what your identity is, the ability-stimulating device will belong to me."

Magneto was irrational. The next moment, all matter that approached him shattered into powder as he raised his hand.

He generated a powerful magnetic field that covered most of the mirror space. Countless things collapsed, withered, and were annihilated by magnetism!

Instantly, the mirrored space turned into a pure white void. There was almost no material existence. Around Magneto, countless metal and stone particles swirled and flew like a sandstorm stretching from sky to earth. He stood in mid-air, like a god descending from heaven.

Even Orion couldn't help but admire him but privately lamented. Pharaoh and Magneto both have "King" in their names, so why such a big difference? Although he wouldn't lose to Magneto, he couldn't guarantee a win.

The four fundamental forces of nature in the universe. This ability alone explained everything.

But... He could still let the X-Men go. Orion waved his right hand lightly. A portal appeared out of nowhere.

"You guys should retreat first."

"Protect the ability-stimulating device."

"Hank."

"Don't be fooled this time."

Orion handed the ability-stimulating device to Hank.

"Will do."Beast Hank nodded. He was the first to step through the portal and return to X Academy. Cyclops also escaped from the mirror dimension with Storm's help. Phoenix successfully found Rogue, and with her Telekinesis, took Logan and Rogue through the portal.

Seeing this, Magneto was furious. His eyes were bloodshot as he swung his arms. Endless metal particles formed a giant sword and slashed toward the portal.

"Don't even think about taking away the ability-stimulating device!"

Magneto had ulterior motives. He was secretly contemplating. Since the device could cause two mutations, it might cause three or four! This would result in a complete elevation of the Brotherhood of Mutants.

However, Orion shook his head. A Susanoo as tall as a mountain, surrounded by purple light, appeared out of thin air in front of Magneto, like a god.

The complete Susanoo wielded a blade of light, blocking the giant metal sword and buying a precious moment to escape. The X-Men successfully retreated.

Orion clenched his right hand fiercely and immediately closed the portal.

"Eric."

"Time… hasn't taught you to be calm?"

"Your mutant converter nearly killed Senator Robert Kelly. Your plan is simply impossible to achieve."

"And I will also prevent you from starting a war."

Orion stood in the void. The complete form of Susanoo, like a Titan spanning the sky and earth, was a product of energy, not real matter. Even though Magneto could give ordinary objects magnetism, he couldn't interfere with magic.

"Start a war?"

"Are there not enough wars on Earth?"

"Sokovia…"

"Middle East…"

"Madripoor…"

"The history of human civilization is a history of war!"

"And I'm going to end it all!"

"You shouldn't be working with Charles."

"He is naïve and weak, pretentious, and has no idea of the evil of human nature."

Magneto gritted his teeth. The situation was at a stalemate for a while. He changed his strategy, planning to brainwash Orion into accepting his ideas. All disputes in the world arise from differences in ideas.

There is no absolute right or wrong. Everything has two sides, and any choice has an implicit price. This is the truth that the entry system has long taught Orion.

"Eric."

"The earth is big, and the universe is vast enough to accommodate humans and mutants."

"And you are blinded by hatred."

"You had more options."

Orion's eyes shifted. He had a wild idea. Perhaps Morag Planet could serve as an alternative. Even if awakening celestial beings couldn't be stopped, it could preserve the spark of civilization!

"Is the universe so big?"

"Have you been to other planets?"

Magneto looked confused, clearly unsure of Orion's intentions.

"Certainly," Orion replied. "In a distant star field, there is a planet called Morag."

"Although it has been abandoned…"

"But it has large tracts of land. If you can repair Morag's magnetic field and align it with the sun, I believe it won't be long before this planet will be revitalized."

Orion smiled. Magneto's interest meant the plan might actually work.

"Exile?" Magneto's voice rose in disbelief. "You're planning to exile me to an abandoned planet?"

"Orion," he said, frustration evident, "I won't leave Earth! Everything I'm familiar with is here!"

Magneto's anger flared.

He quickly realized Orion's plan, but he had no power to alter it.

Orion raised his hand, and a portal appeared, sliding into the air with a shimmering glow.

"No!" Magneto's eyes widened in horror.

In an instant, the environment shifted. Magneto found himself in a dark and gloomy world of ruins. Collapsed city buildings lay on their sides, covered with moss.

Thick leaden clouds shrouded the earth, casting it into a perpetual twilight.

Cold.

Stench.

Alien creatures, strange and unsettling, leapt across the ground, casting curious glances at him.

Magneto tried to fly into the air, desperate to return to Earth.

But despair quickly overcame him as the portal closed abruptly, vanishing with Orion.

He was left alone, uncertain of his location. His guess was that he had been exiled to the abandoned planet, Morag.

"Damn it!" Magneto roared, his frustration evident.

Without the ability to teleport, and with no one to assist him, his chances of returning to Earth seemed slim. This was a far cry from his original plan.

He had no use for an abandoned planet!

"Okay," Orion's voice echoed through the desolate landscape.

"Magneto has been dealt with."

"Next…it's your turn…"

"Raven."

"You turned into me, deceived Hank, and stole the ability-stimulating device. Tell me, how should I punish you?"

Orion descended and stood directly in front of Mystique Raven.

Raven avoided his gaze, her fear palpable.

She realized now what kind of monster she had crossed. With Magneto exiled, she feared she would be next.

End of chapter.
