230 The trouble is everywhere

When a group of Marines heard a commotion in the city, it was natural for them to react as soon as possible so the safety of the people could be protected.

Still, whether it was Masa, Carina, Perona, or even Kalifa, neither of them had a good impression of the Marines. 

Masa and Carina were troubled by the Marines, and they also knew that the Marines were nothing but just tools to maintain the rule of the World Government. 

On the other hand, Perona was a pirate previously, so how could she even have a good impression of the Marines? 

Kalifa was even more so since she was an agent, so her relationship with the Marines was similar to that of a competitor as they had always tried to fight to get more budget, and more importantly, the Marines had always wanted to make themselves like the holiest organization in the world although it was just a tool for the World Government like the Chiper Pol, her previous organization. 

More importantly, what kind of trouble did they get into after they arrived in this town? 

If the Marines worked well, then they should, at least, make this city peaceful, and easy to travel, right?

Well, it might be their fault, too, for being too extraordinary, but then again, with their status, they had no need to pay attention to those Marines.
