Chapter Begins:
The White Serpent Pirates' HQ,
Within the Bounded Field
In the Throne Hall of the White Serpent Tower, Kai sat majestically on his throne.
The over-1300-year-old, monster had his armor of blood flames donning him from head to toe, purple and hazel, demonic lights pulsating through the slits on his eyes. Behind his head, one could spy the hint of shoulder-length white hair.
Cersei Lannister, wearing a magnificent purple gown that contrasted the green color of his eyes, sat to his right.
To Kai's left, three, different-eyed girls argued among themselves, filling the hall with their hisses.
Right in front of the steps leading to Kai, there was a semi-circular table.
Around the table, Meg, Spawn, Red Sun, Petyr, Orochimaru, and Rintaro sat, going through the documents placed in front of them.
Behind Meg, Old Sage stood, donning her old man's puppet. A wizarding staff was holding his hunched back, which seemed to have bent even more.
After a rigorous discussion among themselves, the Crew members' whispers died and they looked up.
Meg's heart skipped a beat.
Kai was already looking down, his gaze seeing right through them.
"My… My lord," Meg began. "This… This has never been tested before."
Cersei's brows rose. "Never been tested before?" she asked, smiling. "Or you aren't aware of any such tests?"
Meg matched Cersei's stare. She sighed.
"I am not aware of any such tests," she admitted.
Kai looked at Red Sun.
The 11th-floor Contestant chewed on his lips before shaking his head. "It's not impossible…"
"Oh?" Kai found that amusing. "How so?"
"First," Red Sun said, looking at the document in his hands, "I know no Contestant, from Order or Chaos, who can, or could, generate Mana of his own. We are, of course, not considering Blessings in this, right?"
"Of course." Kai nodded.
"Second, and correct me if I am wrong child," Red Sun said, looking at Old Sage, "implanting Magic Circuits within oneself doesn't alter them to Ability or Skill or Artifact, right?"
Old Sage coughed, a twisted smile surfacing on her puppet's lips.
"No," she answered. "Magic Circuits convert Life Force into Magical Energy. In the Multiverse's sense, Magic Circuits cause a natural Multiverse Interdependency between two of the Primordial Laws. In terms of Systems, it's equivalent to free, though one-sided, conversion between HP and MP…"
"… a thing not only impossible but outrightly taboo," Red Sun completed his words.
Kai let out a smile. "Carry on."
Red Sun threw the document down on the table, smiling, too.
"What else causes natural Multiverse Interdependency between two Primordial Laws, " he said, throwing a sneer at Meg, "but isn't counted as taboo by the Systems?"
Meg's eyes widened, realizing what Red Sun was talking about.
Spawn answered with a dead expression.
"Verse Fusion!"
"Hahahaha!!!" Red Sun stood up and began laughing, putting his arms on his waist. "You see, Kyouma! You seeing this?! It was me! The Holy Virgin didn't know the answer, but me!!!"
Meg's eyes oozed fire.
Red Sun ignored her and looked at the throne.
"Yes, Verse Fusion!" he nodded with pride. "If you want to do it, you must use the Demon Slayer Verse Fusion Random World…"
Spawn almost facepalmed.
Tina's puppet's mouth twitched, making its hunched back lower even more.
Rintaro couldn't help anymore and sniggered. On his side, Petyr and Orochimaru were smiling slyly, too.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Kai clapped, making Red Sun finally guess that something was wrong.
"Sit down," he commanded. "The Verse Fusion I have access to… It wouldn't work."
Red Sun still looked confused.
Meg almost got up and smacked him on the back of his head. "The natural Multiversal Interdependency is between Life Force and Spirituality, not Life Force and Magical Energy!"
Red Sun's jaw dropped.
"Oh… then it's impossible," he said, leaning back in the chair. "Forget what I said."
Silence.
…
Kai shared a glance with Cersei and didn't know what to say.
"You weren't right," he told them after a moment. "But you weren't wrong, either, Red Sun."
Red Sun was about to stand up again when a force, greater than the strength he could muster, slammed down on his shoulders.
"No need to be dramatic about it," Kai said casually. "Verse Fusion is indeed the answer. It's also obvious that the Demon Slayer Verse Fusion is not the answer. What remains becomes obvious, then, isn't it?"
This time, along with Red Sun, all the members shared a puzzled look.
From behind Meg, Old Sage dared to raise her puppet's right hand.
All looked over their shoulders and planted their gaze on her.
Kai drummed his fingers on the throne's arm and nodded.
The puppet grinned and said, "We need a different Verse Fusion."
Silence.
…
"Excellent!" Kai praised.
The Contestants and Characters seated around the table didn't know what to say.
If causing Multiverse Interdependency was impossible, then much less needed to be said about another Verse Fusion Random World.
Such worlds, as known widely and ubiquitously by all, only originated in a Tournament of Worth.
Never again.
Even in the case of Kings, who had Verse Fusion Worlds of their own, this had happened only once.
And no Contestant, absolutely no Contestant, would share the Multiverse ID of their Verse Fusion timeline with anybody.
Even if Kai were to try to obtain one, who knew how much time it would take?
It was then Kai said something that made all remember just whom they were looking at; just who they were talking to; just who was sitting on the throne.
Those words were —
Nothing Is Impossible!
…
Kai had already made extensive plans regarding what he needed to do. This meeting was nothing but to let the discussion develop to the point where he could use his Skill.
Kai kept seated on the throne after he had dismissed the shocked and puzzled Contestants.
Cersei, sitting next to him, narrowed her eyes.
"It was all to use the Skill?"
Kai nodded.
"The entire discussion, making them all thoroughly believe that what you were saying was impossible, was just to use the Skill?"
Kai nodded again.
"You already had a plan in mind before asking their opinions?"
Kai chuckled and nodded. "Is it that obvious?"
Cersei sneered. "I am not a child anymore."
She left her seat and sat down on Kai's lap. She then looked at the girls.
The three Selenes, donning Darcie's appearances, planted their gazes on Cersei. Then, they melted into a cloud of silvery fog before seeping back into Kai's body.
"You don't want to get a new Verse Fusion Timeline, do you?"
Kai looked at Cersei and found her beauty growing by the moment. "I thought we were done with guesses," he said, acknowledging her words.
But Cersei had one more guess.
She stood up, lifted her skirt, and sat down facing him, her legs going through the gaps of the throne.
"You don't want to get a new Verse Fusion… but…" she drawled, her breath quickening, "… you want to create a new Verse Fusion."
The purple glow in Kai's eyes intensified.
Cersei leaned forward and whispered in his ear. "Fuck me…"
Kai caressed her cheek and shook his head. "You don't want to do it now… Believe me."
Cersei's mouth pressed into a thin line. "Why?"
"Are you sure you want to know?"
"Don't test me!" Cersei spat.
Kai smiled at her.
And then he undid the red armor, showing himself to her.
…
Cersei's scream echoed throughout the Throne Hall.
Even then, she didn't get up and kept sitting on Kai's lap, her face full of terror.
Because the face she was looking at didn't belong to Kai. It didn't belong to any man.
With hideous mandibles clicking in her eyes, Cersei recalled the vial Kai had shown her once.
She also recalled the name of this creature — Yautja!
"You can't use Biokinesis?!" Cersei asked.
"Not for a few hours," Kai acknowledged. "The transformation has yet to set in."
"I don't understand…" Cersei asked, looking at the ugliness. "Why?"
Kai's mandibles clicked as if he were laughing. "You will understand… soon… first —
" — I need to go to Game of Thrones timeline… to kill someone."
