Chapter 52: Second Headmaster

Second Headmaster glared at Dao Wei with a cold, piercing stare, while Dao Wei met his gaze with an indifferent calmness that only fueled the Headmaster's anger.

"Little Beast, it seems I have underestimated you," the Second Headmaster spat, his voice cold as a winter blade. "I never imagined you were hiding so much. But now it seems you've revealed your true self, and your Cultivation is not as simple as it appeared. You just hid your power, unwilling to expose it."

Dao Wei sneered, a mocking smile playing on his lips. "Hehe, it seems nothing escapes the great Headmaster, does it?"

The Second Headmaster's eyes narrowed as he studied Dao Wei. He and the few disciples who remained could think what they wanted. It didn't matter if they believed Dao Wei had concealed his strength all this time or something else entirely. To Dao Wei, it was irrelevant. His focus was on one thing: the utter destruction of the Death Zen.

Dao Wei's indifferent demeanor, his complete disregard, only served to ignite the Second Headmaster's fury further.

"Little Beast, I am a warrior of the Nirvana Realm. Now, do you dare to fight me?" The Second Headmaster's voice dripped with cold malice.

Dao Wei raised an eyebrow, regarding the Second Headmaster with a mixture of amusement and disdain. "Fight you?" His tone was laced with arrogance. "I'm going to destroy you."

The Second Headmaster's sneer widened. "What? You dare?"

"Enough talk!" Dao Wei's voice was firm, his gaze unwavering. "If you're so eager to die, I'll help you along the way!"

A wave of murmurs rippled through the sect.

"He accepted the challenge! He really accepted it!"

"Does he not realize what he's up against?"

"Why wouldn't he? He's already taken down so many disciples. Perhaps his Cultivation is beyond what we've seen."

"Wait, could it be that he's in the Nascent Spirit Realm? Has he been hiding his true level all this time?"

The spectators buzzed with anticipation, eager to witness the impending clash.

"You've got guts," the Second Headmaster growled, a hideous grin spreading across his face. Yet, beneath the bravado, a flicker of uncertainty danced in his eyes. Even in the Nirvana Realm, he was unsure of the little beast's true capabilities.

"Take this!" The Second Headmaster's roar echoed through the sect as he stamped his foot, the force of it cracking the stone beneath him. Boundless Spiritual Power surged from him like a flood, his right hand clenching into a fist. With immense power, he hurled his punch, the air itself seeming to shudder under the force.

His Cultivation, at the Completion of the Early Stage Nirvana Realm, allowed his power to burst forth with terrifying intensity. The onlookers felt the sheer magnitude of it, even though they were not the ones targeted.

Dao Wei's eyes remained cold and sharp, his Spiritual Power beginning to flow out slowly in response.

"The Nascent Spirit Realm!"

"It really is the Peak Stage of the Nascent Spirit Realm!"

As Dao Wei's Spiritual Power became visible, those around him instantly recognized his true Cultivation. Even at the Peak Stage of the Nascent Spirit Realm, the disparity was apparent.

"Get out of my way!" Dao Wei's voice thundered like a storm, his power surging as he struck out with all his might.

"Ha-ha, you dare fight me without even drawing your sword? How foolish!" The Second Headmaster's laughter rang out, filled with scorn.

Everyone knew the Second Headmaster was at the Completion of the Early Stage Nirvana Realm. It was clear that Dao Wei was uncertain of his ability to match such power. In a direct confrontation, he was at a significant disadvantage.

BANG!

The two fists of Spiritual Power collided with a thunderous explosion, the hidden forces within them detonating in a spectacular clash.

"What?"

As the Second Headmaster's fist met Dao Wei's, his expression shifted, a flash of shock crossing his face as he felt the overwhelming strength in Dao Wei's strike.

"This power… it's stronger than mine!" The Second Headmaster's thoughts roared in disbelief. "How is this possible? He hasn't even reached Nirvana yet!"

Pain shot through the Second Headmaster's arm, sharp and sudden. He groaned, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth as he was forced back ten paces, each step leaving deep impressions on the ground. Dao Wei, however, did not move an inch.

Outclassed!

Dao Wei had completely outmatched the Second Headmaster in raw power!

"This…"

The crowd was stunned into silence.

No one had expected the fight to turn out like this. A warrior who had not yet reached the Completion of Peak Stage of the Nascent Spirit Realm had overpowered the Second Headmaster, who was at the Nirvana Realm!

But they were unaware of Dao Wei's true strength. His Cultivation of the Heavens Defying Scripture allowed him to defy the natural order, unleashing Spiritual Power far beyond what others could achieve at the same level. Even without reaching Nirvana, Dao Wei's strength surpassed most Nirvana Practitioners.

In this battle of pure force, Dao Wei had decisively overpowered the Second Headmaster.

"I cannot believe it!" Madness flashed in the Second Headmaster's eyes. Humiliated by the young warrior, he groaned and charged at Dao Wei once more. His right hand shot out, a dragon's roar resounding across the heavens as a Giant Dragon Claw began to form from his gathering power.

The Claw fully materialized, its immense size blotting out the sky as it shot toward Dao Wei with blinding speed.

"It's Dragon's Claw!"

"The Second Headmaster is using a Martial Arts Technique—his most powerful one!"

"That Giant Dragon Claw is condensed entirely from Spiritual Power. It requires vast reserves of energy, but its strength is unmatched."

"Look, the little beast is not even drawing his sword…"

"The way he moves his hands…"

Whoosh!

A sinister red glow flickered in Dao Wei's eyes as he pointed a single finger at the approaching Claw. Time seemed to freeze as the aggressive Giant Claw halted mid-air, trapped in place by an invisible force.

"Death-Touch!" Dao Wei's voice was eerily calm, sending chills down the spines of all who heard it.

For a brief moment, everything was silent, the world holding its breath. Then, the area behind the Second Headmaster erupted in a blaze of red light, vaporizing half the sect and annihilating nearly all remaining disciples. As time resumed its flow, the Second Headmaster was nowhere to be seen, and the Death Zen was left in ruins.

The battle was over.

Dao Wei stood in the aftermath, his expression unchanging, as the echoes of his victory slowly faded into the stunned silence.
