With Brian's ability to extract 100% of the harvest rewards, they could potentially gain 300,000 points effortlessly.
But that wasn't the limit. According to Brian, at the final settlement, they would receive evaluations based on their performance, leading to additional score rewards.
Vegeta felt a surge of anticipation. However, he knew that killing 75,000 zombies in the coming days wouldn't be easy.
Among them, only Brian, whose physical strength had significantly improved, might be able to manage it. This was contingent on Vegeta continually supplying them with powerful weapons and unlimited ammunition.
There was also a simpler method: Vegeta could gather a large horde of zombies, break their legs, and let Brian and the others slaughter them freely.
This way, they had a high chance of reaching the points limit within nine days. Yet, Vegeta wasn't eager to become a babysitter. He was willing to help for the sake of points but wouldn't commit entirely to serving them.
...
Shortly after, Vegeta arrived at the school cafeteria. After waiting patiently for a while, Brian and Miko, along with several girls and a female teacher, joined him.
"Master, should they start preparing the food now? Do you have any specific dishes in mind?" Brian asked upon seeing Vegeta waiting.
"Anything tasty will do. I'll need a large quantity, so use these ingredients liberally," Vegeta replied, casually waving his hand. He produced a massive glass tank filled with various fresh seafood, though all the creatures were dead.
Seeing this, Vegeta realized that ordinary inventory couldn't store live creatures, except for some plants and seeds. Since time inside the inventory was frozen, the dead seafood was still incredibly fresh.
The women summoned to cook were astonished by the sudden appearance of the tank and its contents. But Vegeta didn't stop there; he also brought out two large display cases, letting them choose additional ingredients.
Knowing that good cooking required quality ingredients, Vegeta didn't expect them to make extraordinary dishes from ordinary materials. Hence, he provided the best he had.
"Alright, you heard the Master. Choose your ingredients and cook something delicious," Brian instructed the still-dazed women.
"Yes, Sir. Do you have any dietary restrictions or preferences for spicy food?" Saeko Busujima quickly responded, turning her attention to Vegeta.
"No restrictions. Mild spice is acceptable," Vegeta replied, smiling at Saeko's attention to detail.
Seeing Vegeta smile, Saeko felt slightly more at ease. He didn't seem difficult to serve.
"Understood, Sir. Please wait for a while," Saeko said, bowing slightly before picking up two king crabs and a tuna.
Noting the freshness of the ingredients, despite their death, she sighed in relief. Saeko also grabbed some premium wagyu beef before heading to the kitchen.
Following Saeko's lead, the others quickly selected their ingredients and began cooking.
Given that Vegeta had sourced the ingredients from a massive shopping center, they were abundant and high-quality.
Soon, as everyone started cooking, Vegeta had Brian and the others sit down in the cafeteria.
"Master, is there anything you need us to do?" asked Kouno, nervously breaking the silence.
The others also looked at Vegeta expectantly.
"From tomorrow, I'll take you out to hunt zombies. Be mentally prepared; until you meet the target, you'll spend your days in slaughter," Vegeta declared bluntly.
"This…"
"Yes, Sir!"
Though initially taken aback, they quickly complied, intimidated by Vegeta's power.
"Master, I chose the healing potion as my initial reward and didn't select a weapon…" Yumi said hesitantly.
"You can't rely on the starter pack for weapons. Spend some time learning about firearms. Hunting starts tomorrow morning. You can rest now," Vegeta said, dismissing them with a glance.
