The scene shifts to the anime world.
Since coming out of the quest, Miku's state of mind has been hard to adjust.
She had taken two days off and used that time to barely calm herself down.
Now, she had accepted the outcome of her first quest and realized she had become a special Reincarnator, stepping into the ranks of the extraordinary.
Reflecting on how she had been completely unaware that her world had so many extraordinary Reincarnators, Miku's feelings were complicated.
But she didn't have much time for such emotions. Remembering what she had learned from Yutaka Kiyama and the information she bought in the Reincarnator Hall, she instinctively tried searching the internet for information about Reincarnators.
However, all that came up were some unrelated posts. Miku skimmed through them and found they were mostly some over-the-top, fantastical threads.
Seeing this, Miku felt a bit disappointed but remembered that she had never known about the so-called Reincarnators, which was enough to show that the official or federal government did an excellent job keeping these matters confidential.
Thinking of this, Miku patiently continued her search and soon found a very unusual post. The post featured an image and a link beneath it.
The image seemed ordinary at first glance, but with the Reincarnation Space's scanning ability, she could see the equipment information hidden in the picture.
Realizing this, Miku didn't hesitate to click on the link. It led her to another unique page, which required a detailed description of the image to enter.
Seeing this, Miku realized that only real Reincarnators might be able to enter.
After a moment's hesitation, Miku decided not to join the page just yet but instead took note of the post before exiting.
She understood she didn't know if the people inside were good or bad, and as a rookie Reincarnator, she was still quite weak despite her decent performance in her first quest.
If she were targeted by other Reincarnators, it might not only endanger her but also her family.
Thinking of this, Miku broke out in a cold sweat.
"I need to get stronger. And... how do I explain this to Yuki and the others?"
Now calm, Miku was starting to think about her situation and also how to explain to her family what had happened to her.
She didn't want to worry her sisters.
Not explaining would be difficult as well since it would be hard to account for her odd behavior over the past two days and the unintentional displays of power...
While Miku was troubled, her four sisters, Ichika, Nino, Yotsuba, and Itsuki, were gathered together discussing Miku's recent behavior.
"What should we do? Miku still isn't talking much to us today!"
Thinking of Miku's behavior over the past two days, the usually cheerful and lively Yotsuba looked worried.
"The problem is, we don't know what happened to her. She was fine two days ago, but that night, she gave me such a terrifying vibe!"
Ichika recalled her encounter with Miku while going to the bathroom that night. Miku's gaze had nearly scared Ichika to tears.
"Yes, yes, I saw that too! It was so scary. And the next morning when I went to wake her for breakfast, she seemed exhausted, but there was this eerie aura around her!"
After Ichika finished speaking, Yotsuba nodded fervently, still visibly shaken by the memory.
"How about we prepare a big meal to lift her spirits and then try to get her to tell us what's going on? Maybe we can help her, or if not, we could take her to a doctor."
Itsuki thought for a moment and then offered her suggestion.
"Miku isn't you, Itsuki; she isn't so easily tempted by food. I think something really significant must have happened to her for us to be so clueless about it."
Seeing the stars in Itsuki's eyes, Nino rolled hers, speaking out.
"Oh, I know!"
Suddenly, Yotsuba smacked the table, looking excited.
"What is it, Yotsuba? What do you know?"
Seeing Yotsuba's reaction, the other three turned their gaze towards her.
"I know why Miku is like this!"
"Why?"
"Miku must be in love!"
"In love?"
"Yes, yes! And maybe she just had a breakup two nights ago. That would explain her behavior. The book says people show many reactions after a breakup!"
"First, there are tears. When someone is heartbroken, tears are the most common form of emotional release. A wounded heart releases pain and sadness through crying."
"It also mentions feeling sad or depressed, which can lead to insomnia, making it hard to fall asleep or waking up to nightmares."
"Then there's either loss of appetite or overeating. Some might lose their appetite due to the pain, while others might turn to overeating to cope with emotional turmoil."
As Yotsuba spoke, her expression was filled with certainty.
"Is that it?"
Listening to Yotsuba's analysis, Ichika and the others started considering Miku's recent behavior and found the explanation quite plausible.
"But when did Miku even start dating, and who could her partner be?"
Talking about relationships made the four sisters blush. It was the kind of thing they were most curious, excited, and nervous about at their age.
Thinking about how their dear sister might have been secretly in love without them knowing made Ichika and the others feel like they had failed.
