Magic the Gathering set idea

the plot would revolve on a new plane called Kanda where an ancient evil is resurrected using a spore/fragment that was sealed away in a crystal prison that some one picks up and slowly takes over their body till the evil is resurrected (it took over a planeswalker) and uses their spark to threaten the multiverse.
