The Fateful Meeting

Somewhere in the second trial.

On a desolate mountain range near a cave, a man with golden hair with an amiable look and a clocked figure sitting cross-legged and absorbing the primal seed could be seen.

"Sister, isn't it boring only collecting these primal seeds everywhere you go? You should also let your little brother absorb some, who knows we might be separated and I will be in danger." a slightly desperate but playful voice sounded from the golden-haired youth.

The youth was Frez; the person who had approached White on the first trial for his curiosity, and the mysterious person in front was the one who he called sister.

The cloaked figure didn't respond, hearing his yapping, instead absorbing the numerous primal seeds into her token. Her speed in absorbing the seeds was very fast and the primal seeds ranging from twenty to thirty slowly started to disappear over a little time until none were left!

Having finished, the cloaked girl stood up and looked at the youth, under her dark hood was a pair of glittering golden eyes glaring at the so-called brother of hers.

The youth started to get nervous upon being stared upon, he might have regretted speaking up…

"Quit your yapping, I have already told you I'll help you after I reach the Major Change. There are dangerous people in this trial, the primal seeds are just going to be a waste on you." The beautiful yet cold voice of the cloaked figure ruthlessly resounded under her hood.

Having said that, she turned and headed in a certain direction, without prompting him to follow him or anything.

The youth only had a wavery smile, he was scared of his sister. Whenever she talked, he didn't dare to talk back depending on the moods she had, and today was not a good one.

He looked at his token with a miserable expression, till now they had come across many primal seeds but he had yet to absorb anything. Whereas, the sister of his had already exceeded the fifties.

Wanting to cry but no tears would come out, he silently followed behind her footsteps.

Up in the desolate sky beyond The Boundry; in the starting place where all the participants appeared was a figure floating.

In the sky, an old man with grey hair was looking at the two girls idling, while all the participants were out there grinding for primal seeds.

He was the Watcher Mountain; the overseer of the trial!

Looking down at the two girls he said, "Why are you people still here? I'll have you know the primal seeds will not appear out here."

Normally he wouldn't warn them and let them do whatever but these two girls seemed desperate, to the point they seemed to be asking 'Why has the prime seeds not appeared yet', so, feeling some pity for the two girls he reminded them.

"Sir! We need your help. My Big Brother is missing, we went inside the gateway together but he didn't come out." Airi's eyes which were growing desperate, lit up upon seeing the overseer and shouted in hope.

Young Ju accompanying her, felt jubilant upon seeing hope! She was growing desperate like Airi but her desperation came from the chances of missing her opportunities to become masters.

Unlike Airi, she had her goal of becoming a master. She wanted to be strong, she dreamed of having power and dreamed of making her mother proud. That was why she had a very strong desire to find White so they could start looking for the primal seeds.

"Waiting? You both must be stupid. If you are going to wait for him here, you might as well give up taking the test, and as for the person you are looking for, he should already be in the deeper region," the old man reprimanded them for their stupidity and tried to go on his way.

"Sir, is what you said true? Is White really into the deeper region?" Young Ju ask to confirm the situation with a joyful expression.

Airi was in a state of shock currently, so, she had to confirm it to make her obey later.

The old man paused and looked at the two innocently foolish girls and sighed thinking, 'Haa, these two how can they be so… it seems as if I am looking at my own two foolish granddaughters…'

"Listen, you don't need to search for him, at the end of this trial you will all be teleported to a place together and whoever you are searching for, you can find them there," he said softly,

Hearing the old man the two girls came to a realization, they were happy and relieved, as if a burden had been lifted off their chest.

They will be able to see him again!

But they were not in this state for too long as they heard the old man's voice again, and immediately after, their body was pulled off the ground; into the air, shocking them to a huge degree.

"Considered yourself lucky having met me,"

Upon saying he pulled the young girls into the air and left the area with lightning speed.

The speed of the old man was like lightning and thunder, roaring through the skies and it wasn't long before they arrived at a place. The old man looked at a certain area and dropped the two girls, before looking at them one more time he disappeared into the distance and vanished into the sky.

"Huh!?' 

Both Young Ju and Airi were shocked, their mouth hung wide open looking at the desolate surroundings.

They were speechless.

They flew with the old man and he put them somewhere they didn't know where.

Both of them were confused for a long and only calmed down after thinking of the old man's last words, they discussed their situation and what to do, but Airi's head had been occupied only by the pictures of White that, she even decided to rush off to any random direction to search for him but was stopped by Young Ju.

Calming down, they wandered around the small surroundings, and sensing no danger, they were finally relieved; thinking that the old man didn't have any malicious intent.

"Ju look!" Airi pointed at a certain small cave that was radiating a certain dream light, they hadn't noticed before.

Different from a normal cave, this cave off a pleasant feeling, as though it gave off life aura while the other normal cave gave off death.

Young Ju looked at the cave curiously and felt her heart thumping, they both looked at each other before walking into the small cave.

Indeed, meeting the old man was the greatest luck they have encountered.

"Yaju here, take your share."

The grey robe girl gave the bulky man a leaf-wrapped bread.

White and his group have walked for a few hours now, from their previous place and traveled a few tens of kilometers.

Although White was not hungry and could even go a day or two without food, he ate the leaf-wrapped bread with a pleasant taste experience compared to the porridge in the orphans.

Aizu was also the same, although not hungry, there was always a pleasure in eating during trips. She was enjoying the leaf-wrapped bread while walking beside White, glancing at his way from to time.

As they travel without wasting time, no one talks except the grey robe girl, although Aizu and the bulky youth named: Yaju make some occasional comments, it is still awkward. As for White, he seems to be in his world as always and doesn't utter anything throughout the trip.

But what they don't know is that White's head was occupied thinking of things that were a problem to him. 

The first thing that made him have the most headache was the encounter with the tall mysterious veiled woman in a black gown yesterday!

Nothing about that meeting seemed normal to him and what was her intention? She even told him to come back!

"Found it!" 

At this time, Aizu's excited voice resounded, breaking his thoughts. 

White looked at the direction her eyes were on and saw a place behind a field with dried bushes and branches that were glowing with a pleasing feel to it.

The sun was high up in the air making this place difficult to notice from far away, but it was quite conspicuous when they were within a certain proximity, especially with the dire surroundings.

Aizu was very excited, she looked at White before rushing to the place, while the two followed hurriedly.

White watched them disappear into the place before following along silently.

The trip had been without any danger today, but he was cautious; the more obstacles there were the more normal he felt, otherwise he was on alert.

When he reached the place, he saw the three standing still, and in front of them was a group of prime seeds constituting about thirty but that wasn't what caught his eyes.

But that, in another place, there were three additional people, one with golden hair, another was a cloaked figure, and the last was a blacked-haired youth.

They had finally met the other participants!
