Chapter 109: Troubles at the KTV

"Leon! Something huge happened! The Exceptional Beauty Moonlight has appeared!" Michael Fang shouted.

"Say that again?"

"The Exceptional Beauty Moonlight!" Michael was ecstatic.

Leon had been thinking about the most mysterious beauty of the U university, and he didn't expect to hear news about her so soon. "Tell me, what happened?" Leon was quite curious about the most mysterious beauty in H University. He had searched the entire school's records but couldn't find any information about her, which he found unbelievable.

"Well… to be honest, I don't really know." Michael's answer left Leon speechless.

"Then why are you so excited?"

"Because someone saw her last night! Go on H University's BBS, there are even photos. She's unbelievably beautiful, like a goddess…" Michael shouted, "She truly deserves to be the most mysterious beauty."

Leon frowned, about to say something when he heard commotion from the private room. "I'll call you back later…" He hung up and quickly returned to the room.

His eyes darkened at the scene before him.

As expected, the commotion was coming from the room he had booked. Several men were confronting Serena Su, one of whom was clutching his hand in pain, clearly dislocated.

Serena's expression surprised Leon. The usually quiet girl was now as cold as ice, fearlessly facing several men, her eyes reflecting a chilling coldness.

"What happened, Serena?" Leon approached.

Serena's gaze softened a bit. She pursed her lips. "Nothing. We were singing, and these guys were being annoying."

One of the young men, his face twisted in anger, said, "Little girl, our boss likes your singing and kindly invited you. Don't push your luck!" He reached out aggressively.

Before Serena could react, a shadow flashed by, and Leon grabbed the man's wrist. The young man gasped in pain.

Leon coldly pushed him away, his strength in his normal state sufficient to make the man stagger back.

The young man, shocked by Leon's strength that nearly crushed his wrist, hesitated, realizing they might have provoked the wrong person.

As he wavered, a dissatisfied voice cursed, "You useless idiots! I sent you to invite some beauties, and this is what happens?"

"Boss." The young men quickly made way.

The man who entered was burly and fierce-looking, his eyes exuding malice, his mouth full of silver teeth.

"You've disturbed our singing. Leave now!" Leon stared coldly at the man.

"Kid, you've got guts…" The man sneered, but before he could say more, he felt an immense pressure emanating from Leon, like a mountain crushing him. He couldn't breathe, let alone speak. In an instant, the ferocious man's face turned pale, and he began to tremble.

The young men with him were similarly alarmed, their legs shaking.

Leon smirked coldly, his gaze fixed on them.

The invisible mental shock could almost make someone lose control. The young men collapsed, their lips trembling, but the boss, with more resilience, managed to stay upright.

At that moment, a figure leisurely entered, speaking calmly, "Friend, don't you think you're going too far…"

Leon squinted at the pale, gaunt man. The pressure from Leon intensified. "Ah."

The so-called boss collapsed to the ground.

The new man's calm face suddenly tensed, his eyes flashing with a fierce light.

"You're asking for it!"

"Watch out!!" Serena shouted.

The man's slender body moved with agility, like a nimble monkey, his feet a blur.

His kick was swift, almost like a shadow passing by. A whip kick aimed at Leon's neck. The sudden change in the man's demeanor startled Leon.

Startled but not unprepared, Leon easily sidestepped, his left hand flashing out like lightning, striking the man's leg.

"Thud!"

A dull sound echoed.

Leon's brows furrowed. The man's leg felt like solid wood, obviously trained to high strength. Even with his enhanced abilities, Leon felt a twinge of pain.

Leon remained cautious, knowing this man, who could ignore his mental shock, was no ordinary opponent.

The man's eyes narrowed, and he launched a ferocious attack.

In the next second, his whip kick was already at Leon's side. His footwork was swift and precise, his movements so fluid and continuous that it left Leon bewildered. What the hell is this?

The man raised his right foot, his body twisting left, his left foot pivoting, his right leg sweeping out with a fierce whoosh, the room filled with the sound of his strike, making Leon's hair stand on end. The sheer force was terrifying.

Clearly a trained martial artist.

Leon, facing a "martial arts expert" for the first time, relied on his enhanced abilities to instinctively dodge, his toes pushing off to step back. The man's kick brushed past his nose, leaving a burning sensation.

Before Leon could recover, the fierce wind resumed.

It's said that Chinese martial arts strikes relentlessly, never stopping until the target is hit. This man's relentless, precise, and fierce attacks exemplified that.

The man missed with his kick, spun like a top, took a small step, and unleashed another fierce kick, relentless and powerful.

Barely avoiding the man's foot, Leon could only evade again as the man's left leg followed up, the wind pressure intense. Leon could only retreat, the man's right leg continuing to follow up, legs alternating, sweeping horizontally and vertically, a relentless flurry of kicks.

In the blink of an eye, the man had unleashed five kicks, forcing Leon back five steps, cornering him against the wall.

Leon, though enhanced, was at a disadvantage against this skilled martial artist. The man's experience and training were evident, and Leon was clearly outmatched.

But Leon wasn't one to back down easily. He was looking for a critical weakness.

Meanwhile, the KTV manager, hearing the commotion, rushed over. Seeing the scene, he tried to appease the situation.

"This isn't the place for a fight. These people are our guests…" the manager said, trying to calm the situation.

The burly man glared at him, his legs still shaking.

Seeing his man seemingly overpowering the young man, the burly man smirked, looking proudly at the two girls in the room. Suddenly, one girl's icy gaze pierced through him, making him feel like he had fallen into an icy abyss.

These people are trouble.

Just as he hesitated to tell his men to stop, the situation in the room suddenly changed.

The pale young man's kicks, though relentless, only lasted a few seconds. As he was about to deliver his ninth kick, Leon found his opportunity—"Superhuman Reflexes" activated.

The man's kicks were incredibly fast, but with enhanced reflexes, Leon's judgment improved significantly. His hand moved swiftly, performing a Tai Chi-like push, redirecting the energy from the man's steel-like leg. The fierce kick was neutralized instantly.

Though not skilled in martial arts, Leon instinctively moved close, channeling all his strength into a shoulder push, sending the man flying like a kite with a broken string.

The room fell silent.

The pale young man, his brows furrowed, looked at Leon curiously, rubbing his chest. "This is truly surprising." He scrutinized Leon, as if trying to see through him.

Leon remained expressionless.

Honestly, this guy seemed unfathomable. If Leon didn't use his Holy Night Noble, he wasn't confident he could win. Though Leon could strike a fatal blow if necessary, it required a clean-up.

The atmosphere grew tense.

Serena stared at Leon, puzzled.

"Leon, will you be okay?" Lily Lin asked worriedly.

Serena shook her head lightly, not sure if she believed Leon would be okay or if she was unsure of the outcome. Her calm eyes curiously watched Leon.

"Who is your master?"

"Is it necessary to tell you?" Leon sneered.

The young man wasn't offended. "If you can withstand my next move, I'll apologize. I am Liam Li." He looked back coldly.

The burly man nodded like a compliant lamb.

Next move?

Before Leon could understand, Liam Li closed the distance, his arms moving as one. His punch reached much further than expected.

What kind of strange martial art is this?

An illusion?

Leon, unprepared for Liam's strange attack, was hit, staggering back.

Liam easily pivoted, standing still, not following up.

He coldly looked at Leon, as if challenging him to show his true abilities.

Despite the setback, Leon wasn't one to give up. His foot pushed off with superhuman speed, his body moving towards Liam, nearly skimming the ground. A perfect arc, his right palm striking the ground, propelling him into striking range.

No sophisticated martial arts, just pure instinct and reflexes.

A sweep, a leg strike, followed by an aerial spin, Leon's moves were fluid and fierce, his eyes cold, like a beast.

The burly man and others watched in awe. Is this an action movie? They felt even more intimidated by Leon.

Lily Lin watched in astonishment, her mouth agape.

Serena, though surprised, remained calm, her eyes curiously watching Leon and Liam.

Leon's fierce attacks made Liam laugh excitedly. He wouldn't hold back either. His footwork, a rapid series of steps, quickly disengaged from Leon's assault.

His arms moved like a monkey's, one punch following another seamlessly, creating an illusion of continuous motion, forcing Leon to retreat.

Leon's enhanced body faced a true martial artist, leaving him struggling to counter.

Liam's momentum continued, his steps like a blur, combining with relentless punches, creating an overwhelming sense of power.

Leon's eyes flashed with determination. Suddenly, he closed his eyes, his body blurring as he seemed to ignore the attacks, his body lunging forward with a punch that seemed to cut through the air, enveloped in layers of wind pressure, aiming for a decisive strike.

Liam, surprised by Leon's audacity, didn't hesitate. At the peak of his momentum, he met Leon's punch head-on.

"Boom!"

Time seemed to pause.

A figure flew back, landing heavily on the ground, struggling to rise.

The onlookers were stunned.

Liam's fierce expression faded, replaced by disbelief. He muttered to himself, eyes flashing with a determined light. Just as he was about to retaliate, Liam hesitated, glancing behind Leon.

His aura dissipated, Liam sighed, expressionless. "No wonder…"

"This time, you pay. Let's go!" Liam instructed the burly man.

The fight, though brief, left an indelible impression.

The burly man, understanding the situation, nodded and left with his injured men.

The manager, relieved, was curious about these three students.

He quickly apologized and offered free services.

After the commotion, the mood for singing was gone, and their good spirits dissipated.

"Still want to sing?" Leon asked.

"No, a former classmate called to invite Lily to a gathering," Serena shook her head. "We were about to leave when those guys showed up."

Lily nodded, as if waking from a dream.

"Lily wanted to ask you to come with her," Serena smiled.

"Is it okay for me to join? It's your classmates' gathering," Leon said, considering it might be all girls.

"No, they all brought friends," Lily said with a shy smile.

Leon frowned. "Lily, you don't really want to go, do you?"

"Well, my former classmates were kind to me, and they know I got into H University, so they wanted to celebrate…" Lily hesitated but confessed, "But it seems they all brought their boyfriends…"

Leon chuckled, understanding her worry. "I'll go with you."

"Really?" Lily asked, surprised, then lowered her head shyly.

"I won't intrude," Serena laughed.

"Serena, why don't you join us?" Lily asked.

"Yes, let's go together. It's getting late, and those guys might cause trouble…" Leon suggested, not wanting Serena to go home alone.

"No need, I suddenly have something to do!" Serena smiled, shaking her head.

The gathering was also at a KTV, and when Leon and Lily arrived, two couples were already singing.

As they entered, everyone looked at them in amazement.

After exchanging greetings, they sat down. Lily quickly joined her friends, chatting and laughing, occasionally glancing at Leon, while their companions made small talk with him.

When asked how he won over Lily, Leon casually brushed it off.

Leon found their gathering rather uneventful. They hadn't informed him in advance, and coming out late seemed risky. Though Xijing was a bustling city, it had its dark side.

"By the way, Lily, a friend of mine is coming over," a girl said. "I'll introduce you. She's from a wealthy family."

"Is she easy to get along with? If she's arrogant, don't expect us to be friendly," one of the girls said.

"Don't worry, my cousin is very nice," the girl assured.

Lily nodded, while Leon yawned, feeling bored. "Leon, I'm sorry. Is it boring?" Lily asked apologetically.

"No," Leon waved his hand, but truthfully, he wasn't enjoying himself. Watching them chat and listening to off-key singing wasn't his idea of fun. He fantasized about Serena and Lily singing together at the KTV, which would be far more entertaining.

Just as Leon's mind wandered, the KTV door opened, and a girl loudly announced her arrival.

Leon didn't look up, still engrossed in watching Lily sing. She had a genuine talent, her voice delicate and moving.

Halfway through her song, Lily suddenly stopped, her eyes wide in surprise.

Following her gaze, Leon almost choked on his drink. What a small world—it was Lily's roommate. She had brought a man, and together, they were a stunning pair. Their arrival captivated everyone, especially the girls who were smitten by the handsome young man. He had a refined, handsome face, a sunny smile, and an air of sophistication. Clearly a rich kid.

Leon remained indifferent.

She noticed Leon and Lily, smiling as she greeted them.

"You look like a playboy, right?" a neglected man whispered to Leon, who smiled and nodded in agreement.

"Having money is nothing. Just a wolf in sheep's clothing, don't you think?"

"A kindred spirit," Leon chuckled.

"Rare to find. I'm Philip Yu, by the way. You're Leon, right? Your girlfriend is really pure," he praised.

As they spoke, Lily approached, trying to pull Leon away. Her roommates knew Leon was her fake boyfriend, which was obvious considering Lily's nature. If they found out, it would be embarrassing.

Before Lily could act, her friends caught them. "This is Lily's boyfriend. He's very honest—"

An awkward silence followed. Lily quietly said, "Hi. This guy is so handsome. Who is he? He looks familiar."

"He's Ethan Chu, second son of the entertainment group."

"Ah, is he related to superstar Angelina Dream?" Lily's casual question turned into genuine surprise.

"She's a contracted artist," Ethan said politely.

"Wow, that's amazing. I'd love her autograph," Philip immediately changed his tune, awed by the star's connection.

Leon was speechless.

Isn't that Lily's future boss?

Lily's roommate released Ethan's hand, saying, "We're not like that. I was supposed to bring someone else, but he went out with his sister…" She glanced at Leon and Lily, who looked away sheepishly. "So, I asked Ethan to come instead. He's not my boyfriend!"
