Chapter 134: Leon Chen and Serena Su's First Encounter

How could such confessional lyrics not come from personal experience? Otherwise, how could they touch people's hearts?

But how to describe that subtle, faint feeling?

Serena Su looked at Leon Chen as if she were meeting him for the first time. This sudden surprise was even stronger than when she learned he was part of the Blood Clan.

Serena took a deep breath to calm herself.

"Great, what do you think, Lily?" she asked Lily Lin.

"I love it!" Lily, as always, with her innocent expression, nodded. Knowing her role as the fake girlfriend, she was just a bit envious.

"Okay, we'll use it," Angelina Dream snapped her fingers. "Your lyrics really inspired me. By the way, who's that 'Ethereal Snow'?" she asked with a mischievous smile, never missing any gossip.

Leon pursed his lips, not wanting to explain the gossip. "Just lyrics!"

"Come on, how could you write such passionate words without personal experience, especially the last line 'I love you'? If you said that to me, I might fall for you," Angelina winked, but Leon wasn't moved.

Angelina didn't push further. With the lyrics done, it was time for her to showcase her skills. She and Lily began discussing the album's style and teaching Lily how to sing.

Leon initially wanted to leave after delivering the lyrics, but seeing how engrossed they were, he felt it would be rude to leave abruptly, so he went to the balcony alone.

The balcony of Angelina's villa was like a crescent moon, about twenty or thirty square meters, surrounded by classical floor-to-ceiling windows. Two elegant statues held white curtains in their hands. With the white railings, it seemed to blend seamlessly with the snow outside.

The snow was getting heavier, turning the world white. It had been a long time since there was such a heavy snowfall. The scene reminded Leon of a dream he had a few days ago.

In the icy snow, a dreamy white figure walked towards him. Leon's lips curled slightly, as if he could hear her reply again, "What are you thinking lying here?"

"What are you thinking standing here?" The voice overlapped, startling Leon as he turned around.

Behind him, Serena was smiling gently.

"Leon, are you thinking about Ethereal Snow?" Serena walked to his side, looking at the snowy landscape outside the window. "It's snowing heavily."

"If it keeps snowing, we'll be stranded here," Leon joked.

Serena's smile was always serene. "Can you tell me about her? I'm curious."

"Serena, you're curious too?" Leon laughed.

Serena chuckled softly. "Do you remember when we first met? I've been curious about you since then."

Leon laughed nervously, saying it was really a coincidence. Serena didn't say it, but now he remembered their first meeting vividly.

It was during the new semester of their freshman year. Leon was shopping, and a coin fell out of his pocket, rolling down the street. Leon chased after it, and something interesting happened.

The coin rolled in circles on the ground, and Leon, focused on the coin, didn't think much about it, following it in circles until he grabbed it. At that moment, the introverted Leon couldn't help but joke to the coin, "Little demon, where are you running?"

But just as Leon finished, he saw a quiet girl looking at him in astonishment, seemingly never this surprised in her life.

The girl was very beautiful, especially with a striking figure in her strap dress. Any man's eyes would be drawn to her.

There were several other girls around her and a few guys, all looking stunned. Some of the guys even gave thumbs up, their admiration as vast as the Yellow River.

Leon broke into a cold sweat, loosened his grip on the coin, and habitually raised his hands to show his innocence. Unfortunately, what happened next was even more embarrassing. Leon liked magic and often practiced tricks when bored. One of them was coin flicking, and this coin flicked right into the girl's dress.

In short, the coin circled around her thigh, and Leon followed, circling her, and when he picked up the coin and said that line, it looked like a new student was very indecently circling a beauty and then saying a cheesy line.

To make it worse, the coin flicked into her dress!

The surrounding girls were furious and chased Leon around H University for several laps. Eventually, the matter settled down due to the victim's insistence.

Luckily, it was the start of the semester, and everyone was tense. After some initial gossip, the incident faded away.

Later, when the girl returned the coin to Leon, he wished he could disappear. He didn't recognize her when they ended up in the same class. From then on, the supposedly low-key Leon was under a pair of clear, watching eyes.

All these coincidences led to Leon and Serena's first meeting!

For Leon, it was just an unintentional awkward farce, but for Serena, it was a truly stunning encounter.

Serena remembered when Leon pulled a coin from her hair in the Star Dream company lounge, and she couldn't help but laugh.

Using the memories as a conversation starter, they chatted. Serena mostly talked about Leon, and he naturally shared his impressions of her. The atmosphere had never been better. But whenever Serena asked about Leon's childhood or Ethereal Snow, he always changed the subject, making Serena smile helplessly.

"You two are like a perfect couple," Angelina commented from behind, shaking her head like an experienced elder.

"Lily, you should keep an eye on him. This guy seems honest, but if he ever decides to deceive a girl, he'd be very effective," Angelina said, flipping through the lyrics she had read dozens of times, each time evoking different emotions.

This H University student even piqued Angelina's curiosity, but she suppressed it. A woman's curiosity about a man often meant falling into his emotional trap.

Though she had never been in love, Angelina understood this well from all the love songs she had sung.

Lily smiled, glancing at them before continuing to play the piano.

The heavy snowfall in West Capital was beyond expectations. By dinner time at Angelina's villa, the snow had turned into a blizzard. Angelina's villa, built in a secluded mountain forest for tranquility, was now a dead end in the blizzard. Driving in such conditions, even for someone with Leon's top driving skills, was impossible.

Angelina seemed pleased with the situation and insisted they stay overnight, as she had more to discuss with Lily.

Leon naturally had no objections.

Bored, Leon turned on the TV to check the weather, but the news was just repetitive blizzard warnings.

Suddenly, Angelina looked at the clock and excitedly suggested, "Let's play the Four Corners game!"

The drowsy group was suddenly alert.

"Hmm?"

"The Four Corners game?"

Leon glanced at her. "Don't you know some things shouldn't be messed with?"

"You know it?" Angelina grinned. "Let's play."

"What is the Four Corners game?" Lily asked, blinking her eyes.

"The rules are simple. Four people stand in the corners of a rectangular room at midnight, with all lights off. Each person faces the corner. The game starts when one person walks to another corner and lightly taps the person there. The tapped person then walks to another corner and taps the next person, and so on. If you reach an empty corner, you cough and move to the next corner. After a while, if no one coughs, it means all corners are occupied, but someone is always walking. Who is the extra person? Isn't it scary?"

Lily's eyes widened.

"It's just a psychological game. Repeating an action can cause emotional changes, leading someone to break the rules or do so unintentionally. It's not interesting," Leon commented, glancing at Serena.

Serena knew what he was thinking. The existence of Saint Hunters suggested strange forces might exist. Summoning something unclean could be dangerous.

Angelina pouted. "You're such a coward, Leon. Come on, let's play. I need some excitement for inspiration."

Seeing the world-famous idol pouting, the others were stunned.

"Don't scare Lily," Leon said, showing no sympathy.

Lily spoke softly, "Let's play."

"What?"

Leon was surprised that gentle Lily agreed.

"Just for fun," Serena nodded.

Seeing this, Leon couldn't object. It was unlikely anything would happen. If they really summoned the Heavenly Realm princess, it would be even more interesting.

Angelina found an empty warehouse, and soon everything was ready. The four people were Serena, Leon, Lily, and Angelina.

With the lights off, the atmosphere became eerie. The darkness, coupled with the game's psychological suggestion, naturally brought a chilling fear, though Leon and Serena weren't bothered.

The game began with Leon walking to Lily, then Lily to Angelina, and then Serena…

Angelina had been looking forward to it, but maybe due to psychological effects, as soon as the lights went out, her relaxed mood tensed. The howling blizzard outside reminded her of the origin of this ghost game, from a group of people who perished in a blizzard. Angelina got goosebumps.

In the flickering shadows, Angelina felt like a shadow was smiling at her with a chilling grin.

Sleep was impossible.

Though regretful, Angelina found it thrilling.

They played for about twenty minutes without any abnormality; someone always coughed. Just as Angelina was thinking of ending the game, she found no one in front of her. She moved to the next corner, still no one…

"Ah!!!!"

Angelina screamed!

The lights came on abruptly.

"What happened?" Serena asked seriously.

"Someone's missing…someone…"

What!!!

Serena was stunned. How could someone be missing?

"A ghost…" Angelina held her head, terrified.

"Leon is missing!" Lily was pale.

"It's all my fault. I shouldn't have played this game." As Angelina was scared out of her wits, a boy rushed in, looking panicked. "What happened? Why is someone screaming?"

He was, of course, Leon.

"Where did you go?" Serena asked.

Leon blinked. "I went to the bathroom."

Who would believe that!

Angelina was furious, rushing to punch him. This jerk almost scared her to death.

Serena sighed in relief, looking at Leon helplessly, while Lily patted her chest, relieved it was just a scare.

Only Angelina, the angelic singer, was indignant. She hadn't expected to be the first to be scared in the ghost game she suggested.

As Angelina playfully punched and kicked, a suppressed howling sound came from the air.

Crash!

The villa's lights went out!

Total darkness enveloped them.

"What are you up to now?" Angelina grabbed Leon, scared.

"This time it's not me…are you afraid of the dark?" Leon felt her trembling.

"It's cold!" Angelina bit her lip.

"Hey," Leon suddenly said.

Angelina looked up, seeing a face lit eerily by a light under his chin, almost screaming again. Seeing it was Leon using the light for a scary effect, she was furious. Leon quickly said, "Call your assistant to restore the power. Your villa should have a generator. The blizzard must have caused an outage."

"Hmph." Angelina was so mad she wanted to bite him. Seeing the angelic singer's cute face in the dark, Leon found it adorable.

Angelina dialed, but got a busy signal. Her face turned grim. "What's going on? She's never busy."

Leon frowned, glancing at Serena, whose eyes were now gleaming with seriousness, her hair slightly turning golden.

"Could we have really summoned something…" Leon muttered.
