Gavin wakes up to the sound of fire crackling near his ear, he opens his eyes to the starry night sky, as he looks around to see he is in a campsite of sorts.
He gets up, confused, wondering as to where he is, as he then sees a mysterious figure, wearing a cloak, and a long, red scarf. Gavin instinctively and almost immediately jumps away into a fighting stance, as the figure stays in his place, unsheathing and showing off a humongous, darksteel sword, it's sharpness and quality shines from the fire.
"Relax, kid, you're safe, I saved you."
The man tells Gavin with a low tone, as Gavin calms down and slowly walks back, while the man also sheathes his blade back.
The two then sit across the fire in an awkward silence, as Gavin still sits there, confused,
"So... Wh-who are you? Where am I? What happened?"
Gavin starts asking the man questions,
"Shut up, too many questions."
He silences Gavin as he glares at him with his magnificent green eyes, causing Gavin to gulp nervously as he sits back,
"Alright, alright..."
Gavin says as he backs off, sitting back and trying to calm down and relax,
"Where am I? How long have I been asleep?"
Gavin asks first, as the figure continues to reply nonchalantly,
"You're somewhere hidden, only I know about this place until now. And you've been asleep for 3 days, I've been taking care of you, kid"
The man explains to Gavin, who seems to slowly calm down from his temper,
"A-alright... So... What happened?"
Gavin continues to ask first, as the figure only sits there, clenching his fists as he sighs,
"sigh You sure you wanna know, kid?"
The man asks him to make sure, as Gavin takes a deep breath and nods,
"Yeah, lay it all on me..."
Gavin says nervously as he prepares to hear the news.
The mysterious man then goes ahead and explains everything that happened to Gavin, as Gavin hears this, he then starts to remember everything. He starts to tear up once again, as he grits his teeth in anger,
"That... Monster...."
Gavin says with a strained, angry voice as he gets up and falls on his knees, beginning to sob and cry once again, mourning over his girlfriend's death as he breaks down right then and there as the guy only watches him,
"Jesus, kid, there's no point in staying in the past now, you have bigger concerns."
The man tries to calm him down,
"Oh yeah? Like what!? There couldn't every be anything worse than losing... sniffles Someone you love!"
Gavin lashes out on him as he continues sobbing, sniffling like a baby, as the man only sighs in disappointment and crosses his arms,
"Listen, kid, right now, you're seen as the most dangerous man on the planet, you're known everywhere, and if you stay crying like a bitch like this, you'll get nothing done. You'll get caught, imprisoned, and die alone."
The man explains to Gavin once more, who still continues to mourn over his dead girlfriend,
"And so what? I'd rather die than keep living in this world without her.."
Gavin gets all sappy and pessimistic, as the man only gets annoyed and gets up. He goes over to Gavin, grabbing him by the collar and intimidates him,
"Kid, are you even listening? Jesus... sigh Listen, you currently have an extremely dangerous amount of power, and if you don't know how to control it, then you might lose control again and wreak more havoc in this world, you'll threaten more innocent civilians, and you'll ruin your reputation even more. Is this what you're little girlfriend would want for you?"
The man snaps Gavin back to reality by using Courtney, as Gavin immediately returns to his senses,
"sniffles You're right, what is wrong with me..."
Gavin says to himself, as he looks down at his hands, all bloody, scratched and dirty after all those events.
The man then sighs, letting go of Gavin as he falls, crying once again as the man just lets him do his thing.
Eventually, the man goes back over to Gavin, holding out his hand to help him up,
"C'mon, kid, let's go, I'll help you control this power. And so one day, you can get your revenge, or other things..."
The man says to Gavin, as Gavin takes his hand and gets up,
"Alright then..."
Gavin replies, wiping away his remaining tears, before putting on a determined face.
