The Daemon of Red Band

Vergil quickly made his way to the location of the 6th Brotherhood of The Rapier. After spending several months on Titan, Vergil had become familiar with the layout, and it didn't take him long to reach the chamber where the 6th Brotherhood was stationed. Upon arriving at the chamber that served as the 6th Brotherhood's headquarters, Vergil immediately noticed several Paladins wearing Terminator Armor alongside Grand Master Caddon Varn.

"Welcome to the 6th Brotherhood of The Rapier, Brother Vergil. I apologize for calling you here to replace the Terminator who fell, as the last campaign didn't go quite as planned," said Grand Master Caddon Varn.

I will prepare for duty immediately, Grand Master," said Vergil as he knelt.

"Then once again, welcome, and you will also receive the emblem of our brotherhood," said Grand Master Caddon Varn.

Immediately, the Tech Priest removed the small shield bearing the emblem of the 8th Brotherhood Silver Blade and replaced it with the logo of the 6th Brotherhood The Rapier. A transmission from Inquisitor Dorataka of the Ordo Malleus was then directed to Grand Master Caddon Varn. The figure of a woman with the Inquisitor's emblem on her hat appeared, and everyone present quickly turned their attention to the transmission.

"Grand Master, I urgently require reinforcements here," said the Inquisitor.

"What is the situation, Inquisitor?" asked the Grand Master.

"The attacks from the Blood Taker Warband are intensifying with the emergence of Daemons of Khorne, and it's escalating rapidly!" the Inquisitor said while transmitting a combat tactic map.

"Very well, we will dispatch assistance immediately," replied Grand Master Caddon Varn.

"In that case, summon Justicar Avallon at once. We have a mission to undertake," ordered the Grand Master.

Not long after, four Terminators appeared, led by Justicar Avallon. They were fully equipped with Aegis Armor and various forms of Nemesis Force Weapons, while Justicar Avallon himself wielded a Nemesis Force Spear. Vergil could sense the immense psyker power emanating from Justicar Avallon and remained silent, as he was still a new addition to the unit.

"Grand Master, you called for me?" asked Justicar Avallon.

"We have received a mission from Inquisitor Dorataka. The Blood Taker Warband is launching an assault on the desert world of Malcana II. We are tasked with confronting the daemons summoned by the sorcerers of that warband. As usual, you will be teleported close to the location, and if any Imperial Guard members see you or there are any survivors... you know what must be done. One more thing, Brother Vergil here will be joining your squad," said Grand Master Caddon Varn as he opened the Teleportation Gate.

"Then we depart. Brother Vergil, come with me," said Justicar Avallon as he stepped into the Teleportation Gate.

Vergil swiftly followed into the Teleportia Gate and arrived on the battlefield. He immediately readied his Nemesis Force Spear and Storm Bolter mounted on his left arm. Several daemons, perceiving the arrival of the forces, charged forward. Without hesitation, Justicar Avallon, alongside Vergil and the other Terminators, cleaved through the daemons and began advancing cautiously. They pressed forward while unleashing a relentless hail of fire from the Storm Bolter in Vergil's left hand feeling the what happen on Battlefield

The battlefield was a maelstrom of violence. Daemons shrieked and howled, their attempts to overwhelm the Imperium forces met with grim resolve. Vergil and the Terminators fought with disciplined fury, their every movement a testament to the might of the Grey Kmight. They advanced slowly but surely, their coordinated strikes creating a path of destruction through the enemy ranks.

The battlefield stretched endlessly, a horrific tableau of devastation where fire and warp energies danced in a twisted symphony. Vergil, with his Terminator armor's dented and scorched from the clash, moved with grim purpose. The Teleportia Gate behind him was a beacon of hope amidst the inferno, its unstable energies flickering and crackling as though mirroring the chaos around it.

As Vergil and Justicar Avallon pushed deeper into the heart of the enemy forces, the air was filled with the stench of brimstone and the guttural roars of daemons. The daemon horde was relentless, a roiling sea of corrupted flesh and otherworldly malice. Each time Vergil's Nemesis Force Spear connected with a daemon, it emitted a burst of psychic energy that annihilated the foe in a shower of disintegrating matter.

In this relentless tide, the Storm Bolter in Vergil's left hand barked with a rhythmic fury. The bolter's thunderous discharges were a metronome of destruction, each round exploding with righteous fury as it tore through daemonic ranks. The projectiles, imbued with holy power, left nothing but smoldering craters in their wake.

Despite their advance, the daemons were not without their own strategies. Greater Daemons, towering horrors of immense power, emerged from the warp storms. Their eyes gleamed with malevolent intelligence as they sought to counter the Astartes' advance. Vergil and Avallon, however, were undeterred. Their training and experience turned every assault into a deadly counterattack.

Avallon, a beacon of unyielding resolve, charged forward with his Nemesis Force Sword raised, deflecting the barrage of psychic energy and daemonic fire. His force sword cleaved through lesser daemons with ease, each swing a testament to the purity of his cause. Beside him, Vergil's spear became an extension of his willpower, thrusting through the heart of a Greater Daemon that roared in defiance before collapsing into a pool of putrid sludge.

The battle's intensity grew as the daemonic forces began to regroup, their numbers thinning but their determination undiminished. The Squad lead by Justicar Avallon arrive to Warband leader and Avallon notice the leader of the Warband from World Eater Legion because they all banishing is Khorne Daemon, Avallon and his squad without delay engage the sorcerer.

"We are The Hammer, we strike!" Avallon roared, his force sword blazing with psychic energy as he charged towards the sorcerer. His squad followed, their storm bolters unleashing a hail of sanctified rounds, each blessed to tear through the unholy defenses of their foe. The sorcerer turned to face them, his eyes burning with malevolent glee, and with a gesture, the very ground beneath them trembled as the powers of the warp surged forth.

But the Grey Knights were unyielding. Bolstered by their faith and psychic might, they pushed through the maelstrom of dark energy, closing the distance with relentless fury. Avallon led the charge, his blade slicing through the sorcerer's warp-infused wards. The sorcerer hissed in fury, retaliating with bolts of baleful energy, but Avallon and his squad pressed on, their determination unwavering.

As they engaged in deadly combat, the battlefield around them seemed to recede, the world narrowing to the clash of blades and the roar of bolter fire. Avallon knew that this battle would decide the fate of the planet—and perhaps even more. Vergil push him self to dueling the sorcerer while unleash his psychic power to push and disturb, with his speed and power Vergil manage land some blow and pierce through that sorcerer ceramite armor.

The sorcerer, clad in bloodstained ceramite armor, sneered at Vergil's assault, his eyes glowing with dark power. He retaliated with a bolt of warp energy, but Vergil was faster. Moving with inhuman speed, Vergil darted to the side, his psychic aura flaring as he closed the distance. His force sword, wreathed in a shimmering blue light, sliced through the air with precision, aiming for the weak points in the sorcerer's armor.

The sorcerer barely had time to react as Vergil's blade struck home, piercing through the ceramite plate with a sickening crunch. The sorcerer roared in pain and fury, his dark powers lashing out in a desperate attempt to throw Vergil off. But Vergil pressed on, his psychic power amplifying his strength and speed. He landed another blow after blow, each strike precise and deadly, cutting through the sorcerer's defenses and drawing blood.

The sorcerer's movements became frantic, his once-imposing presence faltering under Vergil's relentless assault. Every strike from Vergil's sword found its mark, chipping away at the sorcerer's armor and resolve. The battlefield seemed to pulse with the intensity of their duel, the fate of the warband hanging in the balance.

Finally, with a surge of psychic energy, Vergil drove his sword deep into the sorcerer's chest, piercing through the ceramide armor and into the corrupted flesh beneath. The sorcerer gasped, his eyes wide with shock as the life drained from him. Vergil twisted the blade, his expression grim as he whispered a final prayer to the Emperor.

With a final, convulsive shudder, the sorcerer fell to the ground, his body crumpling under the weight of his defeat. The dark energies that had swirled around him dissipated, leaving only the stillness of death in their wake. Vergil stood over the fallen foe, his breath coming in ragged gasps, but his resolve unbroken. The battle was won, with the sorcerer dead, the tide had begun to turn and most of Warband member decide to retreat back to Warp.

Seven Imperial Guard manage to reach their position and saw the battle, Avallon notice them and move toward them. Imperial Guard kneeling before them, show some respect because unknown Astrates aiding and save them.

"Brother Vergil... we have witnesses here," said Justicar Avallon over their Vox Com channel.

"According to protocol, correct?" Vergil asked.

"Of course, according to protocol..." replied Justicar Avallon.

Vergil approached while readying his Nemesis Force Spear. The seven Imperial Guards remained kneeling, awaiting Vergil's command to rise. Without hesitation, Vergil swiftly decapitated five of the Imperial Guards and shot the other two with his Storm Bolter from his left arm on their head instantly kill them. After eliminating the witnesses, Justicar Avallon patted Vergil on the shoulder, signaling a retreat. The Teleportarium Gate opened, and Vergil immediately withdrew from the battlefield, followed by Justicar Avallon and the other three Terminators.
